  • Jimmy Kimmel's BATTLE with NFL Quarterback Aaron Rodgers reached new heights recently as the late night talk show host threatened to sue the Football player over a very concerning comment suggesting that Kimmel may be connected to Jeffrey Epstein's criminal client list. But what do their body language, facial expressions and word choice reveal and what is the one element that so many people got wrong? Find out now!

I'm fine with Jimmy. I don't watch him or many of his clips to be honest, but I understand why folks distrust him. He's Hollywood elite. He has a platform. He's well spoken. He's funny (I understand that this is subjective), and he takes strong positions. It's the last part that pisses people off, but that naturally happens when you take a position. Fallon purposely keeps his shows light, avoiding harder topics. That is one formula to appeal to the masses (though, it also is annoying at times). I appreciate that with Kimmel, you know where he stands on things. Whether I agree or not, at least I know where he's at and that he's got a backbone. I don't feel the same with Fallon, he's to wishy-washy.

I went to community College as well. My instructors were not only professors but also worked in the fields they taught. There were no fluff courses, but there were required ones. Most people paid their own way and held down jobs while they went to school. We had no time or money for the mindless brain sucking that goes on in the universities today.

@@LewisBucklesYeah, community college has wrongfully gotten a bad rep for years, just like trades. University is always shoved down everyone’s throats in high school as the end all be all. I always told my children to not fall into that trap of just going with the flow. Find out what you want to do, and what you need to do to attain it. College, trade school, community college, military, etc., whatever you choose, do it because it’s what *you* want and need, not just because society says so.

So Jimmy Kimmel spent 7 minutes on national TV belittling and threatening Aaron Rogers about something he didn't even say on Pat McAfee's show (which probably gets a fraction of Kimmel's viewership), and Rogers should apologize? When I heard about this dust-up, I watched the segment on McAfee's show. He could have just been implying Kimmel could be worried that people he supports/knows are on it. Or maybe he was intentionally trying to get a rise out of Kimmel and said just enough to stay out of legal touble. Who knows? But he didn't say Kimmels name was on, or might be on, the list. Maybe Kimmel should apologize to Rogers because he didn''t understand the words Rogers said? Or apologize to all the people who went to community college or who didn't graduate with a 4 year degree?
I don't really have much of an opinion on Rogers since I don't follow pro football much, but I've always thought Kimmel is an insufferable jack ass. That's probably why I think it's funny that someone got Kimmel's goat about something and made him blow this up way bigger than it ever would have been.

Actually, it was entirely about something that Roger's DID say. Even if there was no intention to insinuate that kimmel would be on the list, and there was misinterpretation, you don't mention anyone's name in connection with the list unless you have very good reason to do so. When I first heard Roger's comment, I was shocked that there was a reasonable chance that he was making that suggestion, and I have no problem understanding why kimmel was furious.
Would be a good idea if people only mention names in connection with Epstein that are inextricably linked to him, like Donald J Trump for example.

totally. He never said Jimmy was on the list. Also Jimmy is friends and business partners with Epstein's former personal chef who absolutely saw a lot of bad stuff so he is very close to the situation which is what was implied.
Also Kimmel says "we don't make up lies" like immediately after super heavily implying that Rodgers called him a P word which didn't happen so to me that is an obvious lie.
I think that Rodgers was implying something about Jimmy's connections with his initial comment that Kimmel misinterpreted on purpose so he could act hurt and offended and go on the offensive with "righteous anger".

Aaron Rodger’s last jab about ASU was because the hamster brained community college thing was very hurtful to him. If you watch Bill Mahar “club random” with Aaron Rodgers, Aaron talks about a teacher he had in school who told him he would never amount to anything. That teacher is still on his mind, so Jimmy Kimmel’s low blow prevented any possibility of an apology.

Like a suspect saying, "you won't find any fingerprints of mine at the scene of the crime (therefore/ based on that) it wasn't me." They're trying to pre-establish a correlation of truth. What you're COMPLETELY disregarding is that social media exists. Even if Aaron simply INSINUATED that Jimmy was on the "list"... there are people all over the internet who actually believe that Jimmy has some sort of involvement in it, purely based on what Aaron said. So there are LITERALLY people on the internet who are attacking Jimmy or continuing to spread this false narrative that he is/was involved with Epstein. You can't just make that kind of insinuation about somebody on a widely public platform. You mean to tell me that you wouldn't be pissed if somebody went on fairly well known public platform and insinuated that you had some kind of involvement in having sex with children? You don't think that there are actually people out here who listened to what Aaron said and didn't also assume that Jimmy was a pedo? You're completely disregarding how the internet works. People WILL... and have... run around with that narrative and it CAN destroy somebody's public image... no matter how much they had absolutely no involvement in what they're being accused of.

Yeah... but Jimmy isn't the one who is going around making claims about how and why vaccinations don't work or formulating assumptions based on limited knowledge. Jimmy is making it clear... why a lot of Aaron's stances and implications are ridiculous. Yet people are literally running with everything Aaron is telling them as absolute truth. He's saying... a guy who merely went to community college... is making solidified statements about how immunizations work. You know how long a doctor or scientist has to go to school? You're not getting that particular education, specializing in biology and infectious diseases at a community college... and even if you might, you didn't graduate and earn accreditation as somebody who is considered an expert on these topics. It was just in the form of a short... joke. Jokes are jokes for a reason. If you have to also explain your joke and why it's supposed to be "funny"... then you're not really telling a joke. It wasn't really that funny... which is why some people probably feel the need for it to be explained. But from Jimmy's point of view and in the setting of a monologue on a show that has a set duration... you're not going to sit there and try to explain every single joke in it's entirety so that you can get it. You have to be "in" on the topic already... and you would have to know where everything is coming from, in order to comprehend what the joke is supposed to be. That's why, in pretty much every monologue... the host says something along the lines of... "Has everybody heard of this (whatever)......" the crowd reacts and that's how the topic is introduced. They may or may not give a brief summary of what the topic is about... but they're not going to sit there and explain from top to bottom what they're talking about. They just have to set the premise of the topic... to simply get to the joke. Aaron made all these claims about the vaccination and his status... then later admitted that he intentionally misled the public. Jimmy doesn't make claims like that... in fact, he even downplays his own intelligence quite a lot on his show. He never claims to be an expert or make claims that would lead anybody to believe that he's one. He literally tells jokes... and asks questions. That's the extent of his point of views... specifically pertaining to what he says in a public space.

He wouldn't have even brought the topic up if he genuinely didn't want anybody to even think about the list at all. There would be much more of a concerted effort to completely disregard the topic as a whole than him simply saying... "Let's see the list! We all want to see the list, right?" He already made it very clear that he doesn't have any involvement with that guy, never been around or in the same room as that guy... and so on and so on. But that simply isn't enough for you. You want him to go on HIS show that is only on for about 45 minutes minus the commercials... that he already has guests scheduled to interview and perform... and address a silly assumption that a guy made with more words than he already said. I think what's most frustrating for people like me in the times that ive had Twitter debates or youtube comment section arguments has to do with people who are professionals in their fields who intentionally mislead or minimize certain arguments due to the fact that they have a vested interest in doing so. Im not a professional in any sense of the word, on paper. However, one thing im naturally very good at (without the educational backing), is body language analysis. This is due to years of abuse I went through at the hands of a parental figure who at one point was deputy director of mental health in a city in California. This person put me through major amounts of mental, emotional, and physical abuse and manipulation, but through that trauma i realized just how much i had learned, and found that reading body language and even written word, had become one of my greatest skills. Recognizing when someone is withholding, manipulating, obfuscating, excusing, insinuating, protecting, and straight up lying.
So, when I've talked to certain professionals about controversial topics, and their verbiage changes from informative and educational to ad-hominem, character assassination, and mocking, it sends out a lot of red flags for me, because someone who has the education to put someone in their place on a topic, especially when being read by other professionals who could corroborate certain facts, should never have to put someone down in order to prove a point. So, i might not know a certain array of facts or have the education to go head to head with a professional in their chosen field. But i do know deception when i see it, and i also know when someone is attempting to lead me down a certain path of logic, as opposed to offering what they know and not skewing it with opinion or hyperbole. I might not know the truth, but i know when im being lied to or deceived for the most part, and i think that definitely counts for something.

I love how you are always doing your best to be as objective as possible and analyze body language piece by piece. I struggle with topics that are important to me, but always try to follow a similar track - watching an expert should allow me to learn some more of that self-control and objectivity I hope, not just the analysis skills.
    TL;DR:
I also agree with the disapproval of that college joke. I think I met more clueless (or just plain "Dunning-Kruger wrong") people that didn't have any degrees than those who got them, but the statistics are actually pretty close and you can meet daft double-Masters holders and genius high-school dropouts everywhere, there's no simple correlation. I'm also an example after all, dropping out of Uni as my undiagnosed rampaging ADHD made me miss deadlines for papers and so on, even though I was seen as one of the brightest, "will have a PhD" students there ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ And on top of that, even if someone doesn't have a degree nor is super bright it's still not a good thing to be condescending about it - everyone's got their stronger and weaker areas, and we shouldn't disrespect each other for our differences.
(I sometimes watch parts of Kimmel's show and could say I like his presentation but he's not my favorite - he does sometimes have similar jabs and jokes about people and it makes me uncomfortable, although I understand how sometimes things are just overflowing above your capacity and you can't resist biting, especially if you are an emotional person - which seems to be a case with Jimmy. I also sometimes snap, but I'm trying... I hope I would edit such a thing out if I was sying things on a popular TV show >_>')
That being said, I do think that it was right overall to have such a piece in the show EVEN if he himself knew it's not a direct claim. When you go back and re-analyze you must agree with Rodgers that these were not his exact words, but at the same time we clearly see how these exact words did propose a possibility that Kimmel has an interest in keeping the list that contains names of those who mingled with Epstein and other pedos, and that's completely enough to get many people to speculate about it and go after Kimmel. I wonder if he'd have a different text drafted if he didn't also have wife and kids' safety to worry about and just himself and his popularity, but as their home location is generally known and there's a lot of unhinged people out there in the US - including those who sue and try to cancel and the serial killers, two kinds in Europe we cannot wrap our minds around - he definitely had the instinct to cut everything short with a thick line, and in the US that's how you do it - pointing at someon's head or saying you'll sue >_>

Kimmy is reading someone else's words, writers, producers, lawyers, while Rogers is speaking off the cuff. Additionally, Kimmy was able to rehearse, get feedback and perfect his monologue. It's not an accurate way to judge his behavior. Get him alone, without his legal team, and you'll see much different behavior.

Something many don’t seem to know is that one of Kimmel’s friends is the former chef on THE INFAMOUS ISLAND. I don’t recall right off the top of my head but it’s possible that Kimmel and the chef are now business partners as well as friends so the dig at Kimmel’s nervousness about the list has implications beyond just his own name. Of course John Q. Public won’t know most of these things but the people involved do.
I’m surprised that Spidey didn’t address the Very Prolonged airtime Kimmel gave to a personal vendetta during his monologue - or maybe he did and I just didn’t hear it? I really think that Kimmel is being given quite a pass on this but it’s hard for an aspiring entertainer like Spidey to criticize a heavyweight in the same industry. It makes his analysis a bit suspect when the outcome so greatly favors the entertainment heavyweight. Maybe in the future he shouldn’t set up the analysis between two actors where his “favorite” won’t have such a negative influence on either his reputation amongst the viewers or his reputation amongst the industry. There’s no way to win unless of course the general public sides with the industry favorite anyway, in which case then it’s an easy win for Spidey. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I feel like people do not understand community college. I am an organic chemist with a PhD that teaches at a community college. I have taught at several universities, including a top tier research institution. I do not teach any differently between the institutions and have the same expectations for my students. The major difference between community college and a university is that the community college accepts anyone, which gives everyone a chance at a good education. It doesn't mean people that go to community college are stupid. It may mean they dont know what they want to do yet and don't want to pay a fortune to figure it out, it may mean the are adult students that have not been to school in a long time etc. A community college is also a lot cheaper because they don't usually have extremely expensive campuses with dorms and everything else that raises tuition at a university. I think it is ignorant of him to make statements like that about community colleges when we have fantastic students that do two years with us and go on to become doctors, veterinarians, pharmacists, chemists etc. Perhaps he needs to reexamine the amount of people he insulted with his statement.

Rogers meant his comment to come across and be received as it was. The symantecs are like what lawyers do to misdirect a jury in a court of law. Otherwise, Rogers would have offered an apology to the viewers not just to Kimmel void of all the justifications, contradictions, hemming & hawing. The trigger Rogers is still fighting back against was Kimmel belittling his education and sense of self importance, which you pointed out, that Kimmel went scorched earth overboard on. “Dr. Fauci said if hospitals get any more overcrowded they’re going to have to make some very tough choices about who gets an ICU bed,” Kimmel stated. “That choice doesn’t seem so tough to me. ‘Vaccinated person having a heart attack?
