If it hits you, he'll pull you towards him in either a straight line, or around objects if possible; if he can't pull you around whatever obstacles are blocking his path, the chain will break, and he'll be stunned for a short moment, and have to chase you or reload. His movement speed is pretty low, so just make sure to break his line of sight, and he'll have a hard time getting to you.

as someone who frequently uses death slinger , i can confirm that the “come here” part is very inaccurate as i miss 100% of my shots
