From escaping the smallest prisons to escaping the hardest prison, there is nothing you can’t escape from. With that being said, you should try escaping the largest prison.
this prison is probably one of the best custom ones in the game, i love how you need to find a way to traverse the vents without being able to craft in order to find the books
Just a tip, you actually can make escape attempts without any risk of losing your stuff. To do so, you need to press esc, to go to your game menu, then click help&options (I believe it's called that, if not just click the second button on the bottom of the screen). Lastly you'll see a button with autosave in the bottom right corner. Switch that to manual save and there you go. From that point on, you can make a quicksave by sleeping in your own bed. So if you die during your escape attempt, just leave the level and enter it again and you'll be back at the moment when you last slept in your bed. Hope that helps :))
isnt it just considered save scumming 🗿the entire point is to be stealthy af and make no mistakes while breaking out of the prison, i personally feel like save scumming just takes off the whole point of the game. just lost all your items? no worries **Just Rewind Time**
@Pongy I think of it like just a quality of life change. Yeah, we could lose our items, then spend time to recollect them, but that just takes too long. Especially for youtubers I guess

Like for 3 hours or something and then you have to make an attempt where you are not even certain wether you have all the stuff you need. Then I think it's okay to use it once as some sort of a scouting run. Just to know if you can actually make it with your current progress. Or if you need to collect more items. Like I wanna do my best to be stealthy and not mess up. But if it happens, then I would hate to start over an attempt that maybe couldn't even be finished in the first place. If you use it as an infinite lives system, then you are indeed ruining the soul purpose of the game.

(it's X on an Xbox controller, unsure of mouse/keyboard equivalent but I assume it's RMB/right click) * if you're selected for a desk search, it notifies you in the top right corner just like "damage found" or "medic deployed" * escapists 2 has controller support! (just make sure to change the input mode to "Mouse, Keyboard, and Controller" or else the controller will drop in player 2) * C and J are hotkeys for the Crafting and Journal menus respectively, if i recall correctly (that was NOT meant to rhyme, lol)

If you want another game to play, i would reccomend the survivalists. If you havent already tried it its basically if minecraft and the escapists had a child. I find it a pretty fun game to come home to and chill as its pretty relaxing. (Its also made by the same people as the escapists 1 and 2 and is a sort of sequel to the escapists 2)
I love how wholesome and chill the content has and, I'm pretty sure you have a lisp which makes it feel that much more human and relatable :] (if you don't then my bad I must going crazy)
Dont you just love how the devs of "The Escapists 2" added in a prison maker but then only added in 2 available styles and Jobs. Yeah not at all wasted potential while even the Escapists 1 editor had pretty much everything in the game. Atleast they added in the zoning feature in an update which made the editor atleast useable to make unique prisons. Lets hope for a new The Escapists that puts more focus on the maker aspect.
I tried using the escapists 1 editor and I honestly loved doing it but man does it have some major issues making it incredibly challenging to actually upload decent maps. The Escapists 2 editor has some more thought and care but where it excels in that it has some major content missing.

Here's Some tips for breaking stuff! you cant break walls next to doors. level 1 cutters can cut one full fence. but pickaxe and shovel need at least level 2. Hope This Helps and keep up the great videos!
Watching you play hurts me because I have the escapists 2 for the ps4. For example if you’re in a vent you don’t need a “ladder” to go up, you only need it if you’re going into a vent. And if your fighting you can lock on to an enemy so you have an easier time fighting
16:39 You can lock on to people by pressing the middle mouse button and that makes combat a lot easier so if you see this comment please remember to use that feature it just makes things a lot easier.
I love how in the console version of escapist 1 you can escape irongate by brutally bashing every guard I did it today going for the platinum trophy on the ps4
I could spend an hour talking about which is better because they both do so many things well and poorly. If I had to pick one I’d pick TE1 because it’s more special and nostalgic to me, and generally has more non-downloadable content. Also the retro graphics appeals more to me.

I just got a pretty normal microphone with an arm that I attached to my desk. I record my stuff with Tweakshot video recorder (which I doubt people have heard of), audio and gameplay together. I edit it in Videopad video editor and export it to UA-cam.
I’m thinking to get the escapists 2 on steam so I can play custom maps because this looks fun but is it really worth it to get a whole new copy of the game for an exclusive feature though because I have it on my console but theres only so much content on that edit: I caught escapists 1 and 2 on sale on steam so I have them both now
Yo I've played alot of escapists 2 and beat every prison so if you ever need a backup then I'll be gladly to help because I'm pretty good with the games combat
