Amigos extranjeros, no solo Santiago de Compostela. Si nos visitáis, desplegaros por Galicia y veréis una Comunidad muy hermosa con cultura e idioma propio. Un saludo desde Compostela.
Thank you. We love staying the city. This is the best video we have watched about visiting Santiago de Compostela. We shall be going at the end of September and will try some of the places you ate in.
Superb! The cathedral and historic buildings. Touching and unique! The atmosphere of the city even "felt" from a video. Indescribable! The blue skies of Santiago. Translucent like a painting. Charming and provocative! The city, its streets and shops. Delicious! Foods that make your mouth water. Perfect! The hints and tips given. Stupendous! Video, content, images, maps and animations. Unique! you 👏👏👏
Thank you so much for this video. I will be here in October. I feel like I have my own personal tour guide with all your tips and information. Same goes for Lisbon, Granada & Madrid videos. Thanks again! PS: I’m also eager to see a video on Porto. 😉
Hi Tony, i keep enjoying the videos you put out, the presentation, information, videography and production values are just superb and essential for planning a trip to beautiful Iberia, many thanks from us touristas!
Que alegria conhecer a versão em inglês do canal. É bom que eu ja treino o meu listening. (Deu preguiça de digitar em inglês e ficar brigando com a correção ortográfica do teclado a cada palavra)
Hi Tony and Cecilia. Thank you very much for all your videos. They are very informative and really well done. So thanks a lot! We live in Javea (in Alicante region, Valencian com). We moved here 2y ago. We would like to explore northern Spain this summer. We have 13days for that. Do you think it’s enough time to see at least a tiny bit of northern Spain and would you suggest any destinations? By the way, on the 13th day of our trip we need to end up in Lagos, Portugal. Many many many thanks for your advice🙏 Zivile 😊
Many thanks for your kind words, Zivile! 13 days sound like a very reasonable amount of time to explore the region of Galicia (Santiago, Vigo, Pontevedra, the Rias Baixas, A Coruña). All the best!
Hello Tony, we will be traveling soon and Santiago is one of our destination. Can you give us the best way to Porto from Santiago, as that would be our next stop. Thank you and as an added info we are a party of eight travellers.
Thank you for a great video and the links. I REALLY like the aerial views. That is very helpful. I will be in traveling to Santiago de Compostela later this week and will be on a pilgrimage with a few others. Question for you? Is it easy to catch a taxi at the SCQ airport to Center City? And, would you happen to know if taxis can drop off at hotels behind the Cathedral (Hotel Carris Casa de la Troya). Thank you for your help!
Hi Isabel. Taxis are readily available outside the airport terminal. We don't know whether cars are allowed in the street where your hotel are, but a taxi should be able to drop you quite close to it. If in doubt, ask the hotel where should the taxi drop you. All the best!
This will be my first city on my trip, spending four days there with one of them going to A Coruña. This was a great explanation of what to expect, thank you! It's a shame I am allergic to eating hard shellfish though, but I can eat shrimp, hopefully Codex does shrimp well.
Hello , Thank you for the video. I am wondering where do I get a tour guide that speak Japanese?? I have some dear friends arriving to visit Santiago and I am not sure how to organise the day!
Hey Guys…iam planing on going to madrid in April 2024. I want to go to my hotel by Taxi from the Airport. Can you assure me that i only have to pay 30 Euros ? And is Gran Via in M3 ?
Hola Tony, Thanks for your informative video on Santiago de Compostela. Will copy your itinerary for my trip.😁 For the market, how do I find out if the stall owner provides cooking service for the seafood bought from them? As well as do you have a video to intro how to travel from Spain to Portugal? I'm planning to travel from Seville to Faro to Lisbon to Porto to Santiago de Compostela to Madrid. It's not an easy planning 😂
You would need to ask the fishmonger if they prepare the seafood for you. On the video we show the stall we used. No video on Spain to Portugal yet. All the best.
I have a question - I was reviewing your guide apps and was going to purchase the toledo app. Do you have an app for Santiago? Also, what app you would recommend for Madrid? We have one full day. @@ROADTRIPSpainandPortugal

Hi David, pity about the shellfish indeed, but your health is paramount. You will find shrimp everywhere, but they are not locally sourced.
