The most terrifying moment for me is when I saw Allen sittin in the wheelchair. Skynyrd is definetely a highly appreciated band and will live forever in our hearts. Its great they now continue playing their music live so new generations are able to listen to them. Long live rock n roll🙏
Glad he changed his mind and he eventually started singing Free Bird in concerts!!!
Me too
Actually it only happened in the 90s cuz him refusing to sing it almost started a riot lol
Rain Stand 1989 Sacramento
Gary told Johnny he refused to play it unless he sang it that night, Gary also said something very prophetic
“Ronnie was a songwriter, and he would want his songs to be sung” something along those lines. I love how they have been doing live on the current with Ronnie’s vocal from one more from the road being played for the second verse while Johnny sings the first verse. Hits some serious emotions
I know I'm pretty randomly asking but does anybody know of a good site to stream new movies online?
RIP Ed King.....greatest Skynyrd guitarist
I got the chills when he place his hat on the mic.
RIP Ed King
No one is even close. So amazing!
The hug between Ed and Gary at the end was awesome I’d imagine Gary was about to have a come apart
The story of Ronnie Van Zant and Allen Collins , Steve Gaines, Cassie Gaines , Billy Powell, Leon Wilkeson, Bob Burns , Dean the road manager, Gary Rossington, Artimus Pyle And Ed King .Their story is so beautiful, hard, tragic, and wonderful that it deserves to be told for all either in the big or small screen or books. The greediness the lawyers and the feuds need to go they serve no one . The two remaining brothers need to be reunited stop this madness and bring back skynard one last time. If Ronnie were alive today he’d be ashamed at what’s happened and he damn sure wouldn’t have let the lawyers do all this damage. The music is forever the bullshit is temporary!!!!!! “I’m Alabamy bound”
Lynyrd Skynyrdr melhor banda de todos os tempos de 73 á 77 ...
My heart and soul
LonG Live Skynyrd Nation.
💫🙏#3🇺🇸☝💫
FREE BIRD FOREVER IN MY SOUL 😢😛
best performance ever
Nice hug between Gary and Ed, you can tell it's a really heartfelt hug. I'm sorry something didn't work out between the 2 of them.
I liked that too ❤
That sounded incredible. Especially the ending
It took all the classic rock songs that I love!!
Amazing
I needed all of them.
This is not from Passiac NJ Johnny clearly says at the intro to the song "what song is it you want to hear California"
Ed King PLAYED Allen's solo!?Damn...
Jordan Matthew Anderson IMO even better than Rickey Medlocke
@@RockFan98no comparison, EK is much better than RM
That’s something no one can deny
Amen
My husband says he finds it hard too listen to listen too this song as many of his biker friends have this played at their funerals .
Ed King was a Monster during this time!
Rest in peace ronnie steve billy powell Ed King Bob burns Alan Collins Cassie Jojo and more
And Gary Rossington as well
this is actually from the 87 reunion tour
Dalton Adams 88’ this from sacramento the whole show is on this website i found and u can listen to it
The 87 tour was fantastic. I'm sure it wasnt quite the 75/77 yours but was as good as your gonna get without RVZ
antrcapo You can tell everyone was putting everything into this to honor their fallen brethren and the music they helped create.
Everyone was getting along amazing during the tour and it shows.
All good things must come to an end 😥
RIP Allen, Billy, Leon and Ed. For all making the tribute tour the best it could be
The best frontman

I wish Ed has stayed in the band

Another California show by "The Lynyrd Skynyrd Band."
FYI, this CAN'T be the Capitol Theatre, because it closed in 1989 and was demolished in 1991. I hope they can change the description of this clip.
hey FYI this was released to the public in 1994 and this was the lynyrd skynyrd 1987 tour
You’re right! This was from the 1987 tribute tour! I have the cassette!
Kinda like it is what it is.... Yabo Daba du.......

Double Trouble that’s what my friends call me
It just happened that way.
Artimus envoie la cavalerie
The only time I listen to re-arranged by limp bizket is when I’m pissed off with a woman
Lineup?
Drums: Artimus Pyle
Bass: Leon Wilkeson
Guitar: Ed King
Guitar: Randall Hall
Guitar: Gary Rossington
Piano: Billy Powell
And Johnny Van Zant taking the place of his brother Ronnie :'(
The rest of limp bizket I’m my opinion sucks
Sorry but this song without allen is sucks
Think so?

Only Knebworth was better
