I’ve watched many pole connector videos this is by far the best. Not only how to attach the connector but also putting the rig on. Might seem easy to seasoned anglers but new ones like myself who haven’t attached the Dacron and double loop it’s very helpful. Thanks
This is by far the best & clearest no-nonsense video I have seen explaining these alternatives - well done! One thing that could have improved it is to explain/show that it's really easy to make your own dacron connectors. The only thing I didn't understand is what was special about the small loop (of the double loop) that needed a loop tier?
Bit late replying as I only just saw this video, the small loop is only there to detach the rig from the Dacron connector/crows foot after fishing. Just a small tug will remove the rig from the connector. If you don't do the small loop you have to use a knot picker to open up the big loop in order to remove the rig.
Great video but why do you put your Dacron bead on the other way round to most people? Normally the larger diameter part sits against the pole bush and the smaller end towards you rig.
You need to wet knots in line and elastic before tightening, if not then they can cut into each other and weaken, causing breakages. Otherwise a very informative video. Thanks.
As a complete rookie that was very helpful and easy to follow. Thank you.
The best video on UA-cam showing you how to tye and connect you connectors Thank you i really appreciate it
Many thanks Graham. I now understand how to attach my rigs to a dacron connector & quick release them also how to tie a Crows Foot!
Thanks Graham, I've just taken up the sport and found this video very helpful
Great video, I am a beginner as this was a great help, thanks

Thanks for your feedback buddy 👍 much appreciated 👍
Nice one mate Dacron was doing my head in, I prefer the old “stomflow” method but I’ll see what all the Dacron rave is about

Hi Richard , glad you like the video .. I’ve personally found that by reversing the bead , it pro longs the life of my elastics 👍
A great tip for the double loop, I have always made a loop then tied a smaller loop which can be fiddly with sausage fingers 👍👍👍
Really well explained, just the job
Thanks. Very helpful.
Great explanation subbed.

Orange cap looks far better the other way around.
