I really like how Godzilla is essentially nature's enforcer, and his constant transformations representing that he becomes whatever the world needs him to be in a sense.
He is the bouncer to the club called Earth.

This is what I love about Monsterverse Godzilla, he's neither a savior or a destroyer. He's the personification of nature's desire for order and balance. In that way he reminds me of Hesei Gamera, everything he does is neither for humanity's benefit or detriment but for the well being of Earth itself.

I appreciate what it did for worldbuilding, establishing godzilla as a powerful force of nature whose sole purpose is to maintain balance..but thats all I like it for. I don't like the humans, I don't like the constant cheap cut aways from the action, and overall it didn't really feel like it had enough of godzilla

When Ghidorah went on a rampage Kong stood back. He was out of his league. The OG kaijus made their appearance. Mothra, Rodan, and Godzilla. Kong was scratching his nuts on skull Island while mankinds savior did his thing. "The top of the primordial ecosystem. A god, for all intents and purposes."
This was an incredible video. Beautiful tribute to Monsterverse Goji, the best “good guy” Godzilla that never shys away from letting his darker side out when he needs to.

Absolute god tier editing and a tribute worthy of monsterverse Godzilla. I loved how it first started off with godzilla looking like a complete monster and destructive force of nature, only to be reminded that he has a purpose in this world. I've been watching Godzilla since the early 70s. This version of Big G is the best. This strikes a perfect balance of hero and terrorizer. Destroyer and savior. He's basically like, "I would rather roast every one of you planet destroying humans but to do so I would have to destroy the surface of what I was created to protect. You're not worth destroying it so I'll settle with blowing up some of your buildings and bridges. Just enough that you know I was there and will come back, if I need to".
I hope they keep coming up with more ways to keep G in the frame of "I'm not your friend. I'm your very, very reluctant savior"

This is so amazingly done and thank you!! Growing up as a kid loving Godzilla and now being 39 years old.. what a time to be a Godzilla fan! I have yet to see the Minus One movie but I have always favored the hero Godzilla more and especially as a kid. And I can say that Legendary Godzilla is by far the best Godzilla in my opinion and I think his design as well as roar and the sound of his atomic breath charging up are the best period. I've always liked Kong as well but Godzilla more as he was always the hero monsters fighting other monsters to save the planet. But Kong is the original coming out in 1933 as in inspiration for Godzilla to be created in 1954 so without Kong... there would he no Godzilla. And in these movies, this by far the best Kong ever made in my opinion as well as Skull Island was a badass movie as well. And to see these two team up is like the best thing ever growing up seeing monster movies almost like pretty much brining out the childhood out of me again. I just love the monsterverse universe and all of the Kaijus that were all created overtime period. Would've been awesome to introduce Gamera to these movies as well.. one can only dream I guess lol. But love your work and thank you

Anyone else in love with the Monarch series shots? He’s always fighting or going towards something in the movies. But here, he’s getting out of the water, shifting his weight to stand up, swinging his tail, and making entrances and walking away. The shots just look amazing.
