  • It's been six days since my little kerb incident and it was time to go back to see Paul Coker at Move Cornwall Physio to get an update on how my ankle sprain rehab was going. There was a lot of love on UA-cam for Paul and it seemed like a lot of our viewers found his extensive knowledge very interesting, so we took the cameras along again to show you guys what we worked on and how the injury is recovering:
    Second assessment
Top tip - how to remove kinesiology tape
    Floss band treatment
    Ankle mobility exercises
    Ankle sprain kinesiology taping
    Balance exercises
Hope you enjoy some more pearls of wisdom from the physio jedi!
Once again, big thanks to Paul Coker from MOVE Physio for his brilliant treatment and great advice when it comes to my rehab. movecornwallphy...
Thanks for watching, we'll see you in the next video and as always - stay safe and keep on running!

Agree with Chris. (Sorry Loyd) I sent these 2 videos to my friend who did similar with his ankle on trails the other day. Great advice & interesting as some different thinking from what we thought e.g. ice! Looks like recovery is well underway 😎👍

Nice to see you moving so well so quickly Loyd! I do extra balance practice whilst cleaning teeth. So that adds up to about 5 mins every single day of single leg work whilst essentially I can do nothing else. Closing eyes steps it up. It’s amazing how quickly the body adapts to this. When you transfer to a stability ball its obvious what this minimal bit of exercise is doing for the body / brain connections. Paul knows his stuff, you’re so lucky to have someone so close to fix you up! I still do the exercises in your strength training videos with him a couple of years ago. You’ll be back in no time and were all appreciating you documenting the recovery process!

    • @Run4Adventure

      Thanks that's really appreciated 👍
I've been doing the one leg while brushing my teeth thing for years! You're right it really does make a big difference. A lot of runners think that you've got to spend hours and hours every week doing strength and conditioning. I personally think, little and often is a good thing, you are more likely to do it if it's a little bit every day 😊

Absolutely fantastic video and Paul is very impressive, I have been injured quite a lot earlier on in my running and whilst I haven’t been to a bad physio you can definitely tell the good ones and whilst I go to a brilliant guy now, Paul is clearly very talented and passionate. 5 hours drive is a little too much for me though.
