There is a whole lot to like about this new unit. The rear kitchen is pretty darn good currently. I like the camp side breakfast bar little office table setup. The tv mount would make for a great monitor stand. Skip the tv. Just install your favorite monitor on it. Those stools? Your ride ‘em cowboy demonstration revealed that they were more than a little flimsy for such horseplay. Might need to shop around for something a bit more stout. I would consider deleting the stove and replace the microwave with a convection oven/air fryer model. Then you could install the silverware drawer. I like the tote boxes under the counter. A bungee cord retainer strap could be used for rough road contents ejector shenanigans. The peeper window in the entry door and good size desk window are great for camp side use. And that dual way door is a great feature for the location of the fridge. I am thinking that this is one of the few times I might go for the slider. But on the other hand, would it be less expensive and less overall weight to just make the trailer a 8 foot wide model? I really don’t know myself. I am still mulling over the midship bathroom layout. But moving the skylight/vent fan over the shub is a great idea. I also think the 8 foot wide body would also be much appreciated in the bedroom. Just make it just a little more comfortable. And I am only at the 12:26 timestamp. By the way, I caught part of your Bishes podcast with BigTruckRV. Gonna go back and watch all of it from the beginning. Looks like I missed some cool content.
Now that I have completed the video, I like this unit overall. It’s a good looking unit inside and out. I don’t know what the off roady knobby tires buy you other than killing your towing mileage by about half a mile per gallon.
When we first decided to upgrade from a pop-up to a trailer, in 2015, we looked at a Wolf Pup, but it was not close to what we wanted. We ended up buying a Grey Wolf 25 RL. If this layout had ben available we would have snapped it up. Love the kitchen on the end.
This is crazy nice!! I would perfer what they did on the shades. It makes less dollars and more "cents" 😉(pun intended) If I had to bet, underneath the sink in the bathroom, it's the outdoor fridge. Also yes I seriously hope they put that skylight fan combo in the shower. It's like tandom axle in a single axle! Thanks for showing us around! 👍🏼
With the (now) drawer(s) under the cooktop and sliding bathroom door, I like it. The relocated bath fan (over the tub/shower) would be so good. Thank you.

Nice little camper layout. I REALLY wish I could go with something in this size range, but it's not entirely 100% realistic. I have 'little camper envy' watching this video. I spied a few online photos of these units. ALL the changes you mentioned were executed: vent in shower, drawer in kitchen, and sliding bathroom door in living area. The awning is about the only thing that really needs improvement. I don't see why they cant extend it past the bedroom window. If they did, it would be 100% perfect little camper. It serves the perfect purpose for the way I need/use a camper. Outside TV bracket? Drop down door serving as 'blender table?' I love dropping a small TV onto the outside bracket, taking in a movie in early evening with my daughter. This past summer Monster's University was her choice, on 'loop'. 😁 I'd love to step inside to really feel if it'd be a feasible option. Thanks Josh for finding all the coolest new floorpans!
yeah they *really* were genuinely interested in hearing constructive feedback and I caught them RIGHT before this stuff went into "finalized production" for the year
Really like this little camper! I really wish they would have put the larger awning on it. I'd happily pay extra for the added space under it or trade the outdoor frig for it (not that I want to lose that frig but given the choice...). Having the door centered under a small awning is great for rainy entry/exit but useless for anything else without blocking access to the door. I also hate, hate, hate when the black tank flush port is on the campsite of the camper. Either find a way to keep it with the water hook ups or sacrifice the slight loss in functionality to route the connection to the appropriate location. It's not like they work wonders anyway...
This is very interesting! I'm a huge fan of the minilite 2215 and this has so many of those good features in a smaller, easy-tow body. It's just missing all the storage from the 2215 🙁 I wonder if there would be a way to add some storage back in? Maybe that slide out closet? And another axel! I think that would hit the nail on the head. Thanks for showing it, Josh!
If this was upgraded a bit..toilet..kitchen drawers etc I would seriously consider a purchase! My Favorite little trailer...even though I want a single recliner instead for comfort. 😊
It appears the outside camp fridge is where the bathroom sink is. Unless there is some pump as you stated under the cabnet, the outside fridge could be eliminated for more storage in the bathroom. I only say this as you already pointed out, the full sized frige is accessable from the outside as it sits, having the dual opening door. Also, the bathroom door reversal is necessary or perhaps a pocket door that slides into the bar wall. Just a few thoughts.
I'm glad they added a drawer under the stove. We need to put our silverware somewhere! Couldn't they have stretched the awning forward, passed that bedroom window? Also, the bathroom door being blocked in road mode is a deal breaker, so hopefully they'll either flip in into the bathroom, or make it a sliding door, into the sink side... Otherwise, I LOVE this trailer size & layout!
This is the length of trailer we would like. But for us there’s a lot of negative. Just like everybody else the bathroom doors got to change. And what keeps all those bins up on the shelf when you’re going down the road under the breakfast bar? The kitchen needs a little bit of help. we are people who like a dinette. Because we play games at night inside especially when we winter camp. And for us I’m pretty sure my husband will only purchase a double axle trailer. He just feels that it’s safer if you have a blowout.
I have to give the factory a pat on the back here - they really did listen. The factory door has already changed, the drawer has been added to the kitchen, and they're working on improving the bathroom headroom situation
Really like this floorplan for a small solo/couples camper. Has a lot of potential, good camp size coverage, and I like the 'dining bar' over a dinette. It's a series of complementary compromises to give a private bedroom space. Agree with the pocket door/sliding door for the bathroom. Has flexibility to add additional solar if desired. The single propane tank is a minus, in my opinion.
I like the angle of the storage on each side of the bed. Gives it a cleaner look and appears like it less likely to injure you getting in and out of bed. I have said before and will say again, I do not like rear kitchens. They are great while parked but miserable to keep things in order while in transit. Lastly I think that smaller campers should automatically come with a skylight in the shower. I get its a cost factor but that really limits some people on purchase.
Nice video Josh, not too long and lots of good details! I like the layout, the breakfast bar instead of a table and kitchen design as well as size is impressive in a small unit. Would definitely opt out of the microwave for an air fryer oven. I'm good with no drawers & would like the flexibility of making the larger size cabinets a more organized, there are plenty of Pinterest ideas to make up for that. This camper is one I could see having to be able to travel a bit to my friends sites 2 hours from home and in South Carolina, instead of just staying at my seasonal site all of the time. I like not having a theater seat, I'd rather have the space to stretch out on the couch with my dogs. Skip the Walmart totes and get rid of the cheap carpet pieces on the slides, with the savings. I don't like the cheap tinny sounding speakers on the outside, I'd forgo the backup camera & put a decent speaker in or I'd pay extra for for better quality. OMG who was the person who actually puts a nightstand type space to put water, sleep apnea machines next to the bed???!! THANK YOU!!!! Totally agree with your shower vent fan move to bring light to that space, bathroom however is nice sized and very functional. I enjoy having a nice big TV, rain and mosquitos are always present after about 8:30 pm what size would that space take. The outside colors, windows and doors on the outside are very attractive, wish they could do something that nice on destination models. The bedroom doors on the cabinets are an odd 2 tone color, hoping that was a camera issue of some sort.
Hey Joshy, I don't know what I enjoyed more. Your saddle mount or the included hat! The Mrs wanted an oven. I love the inside slide sitting mode. Yes pls. Flip the BR door. The menu f/x was awesome.
LOL 😂 Your demo of saddle-seating on a bucking bronco-stool was hysterical. -tabletop menu-board animation 👍🏻 -looks very interesting for one looking for smaller sized solo unit. -CAN underside be fully enclosed for heating?
Great couples camper for sure and maybe a small dog! I know it is a short camper but rather have a dual axle as a single axle if a tire blows scares me to death......literally. Happy Thanksgiving Josh!
I dig this one, I really appreciate that they’ve already taken feedback on adding a drawer and swapping the bathroom door. Id like to see that outdoor fridge gone personally because it looks like that’s what’s taking up all your bathroom storage and with the fridge being such easy access from the front door it feels needless to me. Honestly I’d rather just bring a separate mini fridge and have to carry it in and out each day so it’s not out to be stolen while I’m sleeping. Maybe someone could make an outdoor fridge that can lock into a shelf on the outside so it doesn’t chew into my indoor storage when I’m not traveling. If this was about 2 feet longer to allow for a pantry by the sofa and a bonus wardrobe/pantry to the left of the dining bar this would probably be what I got but since the storage under the dining bar would have to be my pantry, living room storage, and bathroom storage all in one because of that outdoor fridge and the lack of cabinets above the sofa there just isn’t enough storage in this for me. It’s really a massive shame because this layout is fantastic otherwise!
I really think a pocket sliding door would be best for the bathroom if they could. It would have to go on the shower side though since there are TV hookups on the opposite wall.
@@JoshtheRVNerdawesome to hear. lol as I’m considering purchasing one lol like now. Too bad the changes won’t be there. Hmmm. I appreciate the response and love all of your videos!
Really like this one, and especially like its cousin, the 16CM. It too could use a sliding door instead of a swinging door between the kitchen and bathroom. And both really, really, really need a twin bed option.
Hey Josh I actually kinda like this RV. Love the rear kitchens in RVs. And the one slide is more my style 😊. Wish they could put a theater seat in the slide but it’s still doable. The bathroom door is definitely a nogo! They need a slide barn door on it. They save lots of room and trouble in my opinion. Absolutely love private bedrooms. This one may be smaller but still will do the trick. And yes I would prefer this tv in a smooth side skin. Just looks nicer to me. But overall I really like the floor plan. Great video. Keep Rockin Josh. 🤩🙏🍹🤪
@ Oh YES Josh I really like this one. I think we may have found our RV. Great floor plan and pretty affordable. My wife is convinced that this is the ONE ☝️. Thanks My friend. Keep them coming and Keep Rockin Josh 🤓
Cute little rig. Agree that bathroom door is a problem but hopefully they listen to you with your suggestions. Think it'd be popular then. Was that a convection microwave?
Actually they have or are implementing basically every suggestion I had. They really took me seriously and saw right away the benefit of the things I was suggestion
This floorplan is beyond awesome👍but no ladder, 1 propane tank, a manual tongue jack, no TV, and a very entry level bathroom with a cheap plastic toilet, a shower curtain and a Dollar Store 4” fart fan is beyond disappointing😢
Love it! Especially how they are adding drawers and sliding doors. Are they doing the same in the no slide model 16CM? I’m eager for you to look at that one too!! Thanks Josh!! 🤠
Ya know that slide out desk under the breakfast bar I've seen in other models. That's what this needs and it would be my remote working trailer. And maybe desk height instead breakfast bar height. Been looking at 26-30 footers for what I want/need but this simple mode would make this all I want in a trailer at 24'. I have never seen anything under 26' that would work for me till this. How deep is that counter?
Great start with the tank capacities. I am not a fan of the two stools, or the storage bins under there. Have to find a place to store so they don’t fly around. Great catch with the bathroom door being inaccessible. Use ours a lot on long trips and is great. Hoping they decide to put a larger awning on it.
I wish that the awning was longer. LOVE the dining/workspace countertop and bin storage below. My wife would never be able to reach the microwave. I would have preferred to have the cooktop on the right side of the sink so there is room between the refrigerator and sink for prep and cleanup. Don't understand why there are so many spaces lost for switches and panels of controls. Would like to see the toilet angled for better access. Side tables by the bed don't look like they offer good space for 'stuff'. Under bed storage is good but the closet and bedside storage is not good. Sliding door for bathroom would be a better option. I think this will be really good with a few tweaks.
I think this is a great little camper for the DIY couple or solo camper. Has all the essentials and would be easy DIY to add what you think is missing or need to be changed. Hinge the bathroom door from the opposite side and the door can be opened before you close the slide, easy peasy bathroom access for road mode. Larger fan for bathroom simple upgrade. There may even be an opportunity for another drawer on the right hand side of the kitchen. I'm betting they didn't put one there for fear of it being mangled in the slide system. But if you're careful I think it works. Need a spot to hang a coat or two by the entry door. Right now I think adding hangers on the bathroom door is the only option. But since it is a small trailer, that may be close enough. My only question is how well that enclosed bedroom work with the AC and heater being at the other end of the trailer.
In an RV this small without fully sealing doors the bed/bath generally would stay comfortable provided the doors were mostly left open except when using the bathroom That being said.. I'd still prefer a miniature centralized system And what we're discussing is EXACTLY what Wildwood/Salem's FSX division went thru on THEIR private bed single axle RVs They didn't technically NEED central air but still did it "just because" and nobody has complained
Great little camper. For the bathroom door, what about pocket doors? I think that would be better than doors opening in the living space or bathroom space. Kitchen is nice for small camper, a couple of drawers would be nice.
Josh! Josh! Josh! JOSH! This is only the second rig both my wife and I have said "OK!" to. I'll fix the bathroom door issue myself as well as the lack of struts on the bed. When the factory warranty is up, I'll move the bathroom fan over. I'm hope they add a solar panel plug in on the exterior and offer an inverter..I'm guessing it will be set up with a system to accept lithium and lead acid batteries? A rear hitch would be great for bikes and such. Can't stand the collapsing ladder.... If they get rid of the tub, it's a big no-go. I guess I need to start researching how to order one. Oh, and i'd yank the outdoor fridge. I have better use of that space.
wow! You wont need to fix the bath door - they already have for production models! They added the kitchen drawer as well! They're working on improving shower headroom but have said it's more than "Just moving that vent" - likely has to change up some roof structure which is more involved
Odd question… I recently looked into R values for different RV’s, and found conflicting info. One company says stick and tin are 1-2, another says 3-4. Ditto for Azdel, 1-4 save one that says about 8 (double thickness Azdel?) What is the truth?
This is why I never get into R-Values in my videos.. *RV Manufacturers virtually make up any number they want with zero recourse* Nearly all towable RV sidewalls are R7-9 *NO RV has an R40 anything. None.* Northwood is a brand WELL known for having superior insulation packages and hot/cold camp capability. Yet they publish some of the lower R-Values of any manufacturer... _because those are actual real R-Values_ - the truth is most rvs have roughly an R12ish roof. R14 is great. Northwood has a tested R18. They do more than the brands that tout R40 I cannot believe how the industry has been able to get away with it for over a decade now
It was a crazy humid day. I got there early. Air hadn't been running long. So the moisture in the air was condensing around the air unit where surfaces were colder This will happy in any rv under similar circumstances. The A/C unit acts like a dehumidifier and works to remove moisture out of the air over time to prevent it from continuing
Nice size for a couple but I’m not a fan of the basket storage. Where do the pots and pans go? Dishes, food goods that don’t belong in the fridge. I have a 16FQ and I like the cabinets that close for privacy. Overall it’s a nice option but ….. 😊
Can you do some actual camping reviews? You can talk about real storage positives and negatives. Or setup and breakdown. Or other wants and extra touches that make a real difference.
This is very nice but I would like to see some cabinets on the sides of the sofa on the side walls where there's nothing on the top area that would help being that the kitchen doesn't have that many
Josh, I like the look, it's cute. But this has to be the least storage space I've ever seen. I think groceries would have to go in those bins. I like the overall look😊.
We have a Wolf Pup. I love this model, but why don't they use pocket doors for the restroom? Great idea about the bathroom fan over the shower. The awning should have gone over to the bedroom window.
Seems like they've replaced the majority of schwintek uses at this point. It's almost surprising to see schwinteks anymore The thing is.. even if EVERY hiccup possible with schwinteks were magically fixed today.. nobody trusts them anymore
remove the slideout and just put the couch would let the door open and maybe even put it at the 8 ft wide would help even more . other than that pretty nice. great vid.
Giddy-up.😂. Like the layout. Don't like single axle. If you've ever had a blowout traveling 65 mph down the road. Bathrooms come in real handy. Gotta have a spare on single axle.
small tanks, that much weight on a single axle and no kitchen storage would be a killer for me. My Jayco 212 QB weighs in at the same weight and offers a lot more. (except the fluffy bathroom)
It's a small RV with normal sized furnace and air. It doesn't take much with the doors open to keep them climate controlled That being said I 100% think they should drop at least ONE duct for a/c down into the bath and bedrooms
@@JoshtheRVNerd - Just trying to help! Just imagine how much more your bosses would appreciate what you do when customers all over the netion start asking for their fee RV Nerd sticker for their small camper, wanting their free RV Nerd coffee cup with every RV over 20’, or their RV Nerd T-Shirt on every 5th wheel purchase! 😎 Sounds silly… but trust me when it started Management would be looking at you with more respect. 🫡
There was space under the stove in my Wolf Pup 14CC for a drawer. I bought a sliding basket on Amazon and installed it there after knocking out that blank cabinet piece. I have no idea why they waste that space.
I recently found out why - because the furnace was under it fire code prevented them from including a drawer there without a heat shield Turns out that was a SUPER simple fix that just kind of got overlooked for a surprising amount of time But now they're doing it across the board!
They don't have space to have a true pocket door in the wall but after I shot this footage and spoke with their team they have adopted sliding doors that will allow far better travel access
Add a tandem axle and I'm sold.
Seconded.

Totally agree. Drawers and a table for games, a family meal, extra counter space and double axle is a must.
Check out the 16CM, it has a dinette but no slide.
TY for the input! Thankfully they really listened and have adopted nearly everything I suggested in this video!
I guess the seven little totes would hold your food. Very cute trailer for one person
It's definitely limited on storage. Minimalist weekender
Awesome
Cool Floorplan! I was glad they are changing the bathroom door. Thank you Josh!
AND adding that kitchen drawer!
I totally respect what you're saying regarding RK models. I think they're superior at a destination but not as good for regular travel
cool layout. Some sort of deployable bunk above the sofa would be cool.
The bedroom doors on the cabinets are an odd 2 tone color, hoping that was a camera issue of some sort.
one-tone cabinets. That's just the camera being stupid as you suspected
Nice little camper.
TY!
Hey Joshy, I don't know what I enjoyed more. Your saddle mount or the included hat! The Mrs wanted an oven. I love the inside slide sitting mode. Yes pls. Flip the BR door. The menu f/x was awesome.
YEEEHAWWWW
LOL 😂 Your demo of saddle-seating on a bucking bronco-stool was hysterical.
-tabletop menu-board animation 👍🏻
-looks very interesting for one looking for smaller sized solo unit.
-CAN underside be fully enclosed for heating?
They do not offer belly enclosures on these as it turns out - nor any sort of belly heating (though it does have tank heating pads standard!)
#giddyup
Great couples camper for sure and maybe a small dog! I know it is a short camper but rather have a dual axle as a single axle if a tire blows scares me to death......literally. Happy Thanksgiving Josh!
Totally get it
I dig this one, I really appreciate that they’ve already taken feedback on adding a drawer and swapping the bathroom door.
Yeah I appreciate the fact they listened and put in the work to really dial this in
Great camper in the 23ish foot range. The short shower is a deal breaker. Am 6FT.. so if you dont fit I wont either
word is they're working on improving shower headroom
Have you heard anything of Honda coming out with a small motorhome. Just watched a couple of videos of them.
I have not though I will admit i do not monitor the motorized market closely like i do towables
If it had a 6'9" ceiling I would buy this in heartbeat!
Super rare to find in a single axle but not impossible. Ember's new single axles are actually 6'10"
@@JoshtheRVNerd TY! I will look at those!
I really think a pocket sliding door would be best for the bathroom if they could. It would have to go on the shower side though since there are TV hookups on the opposite wall.
They listened and they made it happen!
@@JoshtheRVNerdawesome to hear. lol as I’m considering purchasing one lol like now. Too bad the changes won’t be there. Hmmm. I appreciate the response and love all of your videos!
@@JoshtheRVNerdI actually got sent a pic from a dealer with the new sliding door and kitchen drawer present and in their lot here in Columbus.
Really like this one, and especially like its cousin, the 16CM. It too could use a sliding door instead of a swinging door between the kitchen and bathroom. And both really, really, really need a twin bed option.
Yeah the 16CM is a good one too, for sure! I only had time to record one or the other. Flipped a coin. This one won
Try this for tandem axle with theater seating: ua-cam.com/video/-n8XOwbAqC0/v-deo.html
@ Oh YES Josh I really like this one. I think we may have found our RV. Great floor plan and pretty affordable. My wife is convinced that this is the ONE ☝️. Thanks My friend. Keep them coming and Keep Rockin Josh 🤓
Nice camper👍
TY!
Definitely a contender.
Aweome! TY for watching
Oh! Almost forgot - conventional microwave on these. you start seeing convection once you step into the grey wolf tandem axle big brothers to these
This floorplan is beyond awesome👍but no ladder, 1 propane tank, a manual tongue jack, no TV, and a very entry level bathroom with a cheap plastic toilet, a shower curtain and a Dollar Store 4” fart fan is beyond disappointing😢
Love it! Especially how they are adding drawers and sliding doors. Are they doing the same in the no slide model 16CM? I’m eager for you to look at that one too!!
Thanks Josh!! 🤠
The drawers are happening across the board. I haven't seen updates on the 16CM but I suspect it'll be similar if everything can fit
I 100% agree. You likely wouldn't see it on this brand as they just don't use any of those components but it would be awesome
Thank you for watching!
Nerd en fuego today or whenever this was filmed. Had me chuckling several times!
Yeah it was cooking.. super hot and humid. Oppressively so
But I stayed hydrated and we made it thru
Awning is small but unless they killed a window or shrank the baggage door I'm not sure it's possible to grow it
Cool floor plan. Nice compromise for such a short RV.
Yeah they packed a lot into a smaller space on this one
In an RV this small without fully sealing doors the bed/bath generally would stay comfortable provided the doors were mostly left open except when using the bathroom
That being said.. I'd still prefer a miniature centralized system
And what we're discussing is EXACTLY what Wildwood/Salem's FSX division went thru on THEIR private bed single axle RVs
They didn't technically NEED central air but still did it "just because" and nobody has complained
Great little camper. For the bathroom door, what about pocket doors? I think that would be better than doors opening in the living space or bathroom space. Kitchen is nice for small camper, a couple of drawers would be nice.
Yeah as noted on screen during road model they ARE now using sliding doors instead of swinging so.. problem solved!
Amazing
☺
@@JoshtheRVNerd NOT YOU! The RV.
Josh! Josh! Josh!
@@JoshtheRVNerd FANtastic
And they Have2 keep the tub!
Thanks Josh -- I really like this one. So much so that I'm going to look for it near me so I can walk through it. Really sized right.
Hope you like it!
*RV Manufacturers virtually make up any number they want with zero recourse*
Nearly all towable RV sidewalls are R7-9
*NO RV has an R40 anything. None.*
Northwood is a brand WELL known for having superior insulation packages and hot/cold camp capability. Yet they publish some of the lower R-Values of any manufacturer... _because those are actual real R-Values_ - the truth is most rvs have roughly an R12ish roof. R14 is great. Northwood has a tested R18. They do more than the brands that tout R40
I cannot believe how the industry has been able to get away with it for over a decade now
I really love this model, but single axle scares me :/ wonder if they could offer it is single or double for more money :D
That would kind of be a model like this: ua-cam.com/video/-n8XOwbAqC0/v-deo.html
@@JoshtheRVNerd Yes I did thank you so much for the suggestion!
A pocket door might work for the bathroom to make it more friendly when the slide is closed
Yep - see notes on screen. They took my suggestion and are doing exactly that now!
The camper is already leaking. At the 2:37-2:38 mark, a drop of water falls from the ceiling.
wow wow wow
It was a crazy humid day. I got there early. Air hadn't been running long. So the moisture in the air was condensing around the air unit where surfaces were colder
This will happy in any rv under similar circumstances. The A/C unit acts like a dehumidifier and works to remove moisture out of the air over time to prevent it from continuing
Nice love it you suggested would make this thing great for me.
And it sounds like they're doing basically everything I mentioned!
Under the stove does work for a drawer in the 16fq. I bet it will here. They should definitely do thwt from the factory.
Actually.. They are now! They listened! :)
@JoshtheRVNerd that is fantastic! It was a pain to knock it out and build one.
slide topper!!!!
I *think* you could add one to this rig..
This is a cute little camper. It looks pretty well built, but maybe the stools shouldn't be used as a bucking bronco lol!
lol :)
Nice size for a couple but I’m not a fan of the basket storage. Where do the pots and pans go? Dishes, food goods that don’t belong in the fridge. I have a 16FQ and I like the cabinets that close for privacy. Overall it’s a nice option but ….. 😊
Yeah it focuses more on living space
Can you do some actual camping reviews? You can talk about real storage positives and negatives. Or setup and breakdown. Or other wants and extra touches that make a real difference.
OH, on the 10th or so of going thru the vid again, yes, bigger awning..
Again, its good as is for us!
ty!
Love these small trailers, But why the off road tires. Can they be replaced for standard trailer tires??
That's an optional package. Normally it would have conventional tires. Some people like the extra ground clearance you gain
Yeah the awning could go a bit passed the window on the right side
In theory yes but sometimes awnings only come in specific length from the suppliers. RV Makers can't order them by the inch to custom fit each size rv
Good video Josh
Glad you enjoyed it!
This is very nice but I would like to see some cabinets on the sides of the sofa on the side walls where there's nothing on the top area that would help being that the kitchen doesn't have that many
it really is limited on cabinet space for sure
Josh, I like the look, it's cute. But this has to be the least storage space I've ever seen. I think groceries would have to go in those bins. I like the overall look😊.
It's truly limited in that way for sure
Hey Josh will a pocket door work for that bath?
yep! After this footage they made the swap. Works great
We have a Wolf Pup. I love this model, but why don't they use pocket doors for the restroom? Great idea about the bathroom fan over the shower. The awning should have gone over to the bedroom window.
See notes on screen - i offered that suggestion and they DID adopt sliding bath doors for easier access
Being the bedroom can be private and the AC is in the rear of the model is it a ducted system?
it's not ducted currently though I've suggested that to the mfg
2026 should be the year of exact slides in every RV, especially the higher dollar models.
Seems like they've replaced the majority of schwintek uses at this point. It's almost surprising to see schwinteks anymore
The thing is.. even if EVERY hiccup possible with schwinteks were magically fixed today.. nobody trusts them anymore
@ yup Schwinteks are an automatic no for us. Love seeing the industry take steps forward
remove the slideout and just put the couch would let the door open and maybe even put it at the 8 ft wide would help even more . other than that pretty nice. great vid.
That’s a good idea. I wonder if the floor layout would allow it
For the bathroom door could it be a sliding door instead?
You may have missed the note on screen - that's what's already happening!
Giddy-up.😂. Like the layout. Don't like single axle. If you've ever had a blowout traveling 65 mph down the road. Bathrooms come in real handy. Gotta have a spare on single axle.
Try this for a tandem axle layout with similar setup ua-cam.com/video/-n8XOwbAqC0/v-deo.html
WATER DRIP from ceiling at 2:36 lolol
I'm guessing you've never been in an rv on a humid day when the air unit was just turned on & the air hasn't been dehumidified yet
small tanks, that much weight on a single axle and no kitchen storage would be a killer for me. My Jayco 212 QB weighs in at the same weight and offers a lot more. (except the fluffy bathroom)
This might be the one.
☺
Maybe a pocket door for the bathroom?
Yeah that's exactly what they ended up going to. Added some notes on screen to indicate their new direction
How does it heat the bathroom and bedroom? I feel manufactures need to watch more of your video's :)
It's a small RV with normal sized furnace and air. It doesn't take much with the doors open to keep them climate controlled
That being said I 100% think they should drop at least ONE duct for a/c down into the bath and bedrooms

@@JoshtheRVNerd Thanks Josh I'll take a look
I like it but wish it did have a TV
if the only thing someone needs is a TV, then drop our team a note. I'm sure we can make that happen. That's easy stuff
There was space under the stove in my Wolf Pup 14CC for a drawer. I bought a sliding basket on Amazon and installed it there after knocking out that blank cabinet piece. I have no idea why they waste that space.
I recently found out why - because the furnace was under it fire code prevented them from including a drawer there without a heat shield
Turns out that was a SUPER simple fix that just kind of got overlooked for a surprising amount of time
But now they're doing it across the board!
#RVNerdHerd 😊 🎉 😊
Why don't they use pocket doors so they slide into the wall?
1. Cost. 2. They already bought a truckload of them. 😊😊
They don't have space to have a true pocket door in the wall but after I shot this footage and spoke with their team they have adopted sliding doors that will allow far better travel access
That layout is nice. I would rather it be swapped front to back so the kitchen is in the front and bed in the back. I would rather have 2 axles.
have you seen this one? ua-cam.com/video/5Rdf-TdbSIg/v-deo.html
