+Joseph Tarrani I took a ball of clay and just started mushing it around until I saw something interesting, and then built off that basic shape to form the ears, horns, etc. ill be making another dragon sculpt video in the future, and ill be sure to include the head part :) thanks for watching!
Who else thinks the baby dragon is ADORABLE! I am a dragon fanatic! Seeing you sculpt this made me leap and bound with joyous excitement immediately! *RAWR*
how far you've come. not in the art aspect you've had that nailed but in letting your personality show in every video now. i laugh so hard at all your random yells and dancing, especially the heading to the shed montages
I bought some super sculpey but it was flesh colored. Now, I know that gray is the bomb. It's neutral in value AND color and you can clearly see the shape easily whereas that light flesh color is much harder to see. And firm.... I think the one I bought was not firm. Very hard to sculpt anything long w/o an armature. Thanks for the vid.
Bobby, your sculpting is great. And your wood carving is great too. I enjoy your rock carving the most. Rock carving is what I'm trying to do. And you are such a powerful inspiration for me. Thank you.
I've been going back and watching your old videos. Normally I wouldn't watch a video with just music, but you're so incredibly talented, I watched it anyway. (I do prefer your current videos that show your zany personality.) This dragon is one of the best sculpture I've seen. I love it!
This dragon is SO AWESOME! It's beautiful, but man I don't envy you the time it must of took to make. I'd say it was probably most definitely worth time though!
You're very welcome! Wow, I do commend you and it really does look fantastic, it looks like a real dragon :D That's awesome, is it woodcarving or is it sculpting?
I thought the process of getting paint into the recesses and wiping the rest off before it dries was called antiquing. Really great dragon, you are very talented. I learned alot about different tools watching how you used them. It gives me lots of new ideas. Thank you for sharing this with us.
I like that you're versatile in types of material for projects. Not strictly just wood, stone, or metal... it's nice to see. appreciate creativity in most forms! Great Dragon!
You have gift and it's mind blowing. I wish i have Sylveon of your making for my birthday. Keep doing what you are doing . You are a gift for the world and right now we need you more than ever!!!!
Just wanted to post a message to say that my son and I watched this video and we loved it. He loves dragons and he loved watching you make this. You have now inspired him to want to make a clay dragon like yours. I really enjoyed the music you attached to this video, very apt .
I love this baby!! My 6 yr old watched this video from beginning to end. He won't even watch most movies unless he's really into the content. I'm about to pull out some sculpey, and see what he makes. :)
I work with polymer clay on a daily basis and the sheer amount of time you spent on this, and all the little details you got in there just really made the piece. It's lovely, really. Personally, I'm not terribly fond of Super Sculpey, but that's only because I'm not very good at painting and I like to make bright, colorful pieces. I loved the video!
Its so cute!! I love videos like these because they open the world to a sculpting medium I'm unfamiliar with, but they show that exquisite pieces can be crafted all the same. I'm so glad I found your channel.
You are a lovely talent. I love that you show the video in fast motion and explain the process at the same time. I am just learning polymer clay, you are an inspiration! thank you.
The attention to detail in this piece is absolutely mind blowing. You truly are an artist sir, and I applaud you. I have been binge watching your videos the last few days, and you are just amazing!
Wow so serious and business like. What a difference a few years have made. I just started watching you recently. This is the first older video of yours ive watched. I had to check the channel name several times, just to make sure this was Dukey.
This was so relaxing. Who needs ASMR when you got BobbyDuke! Thanks for helping me unwind after the long, long day i had. Also, you doing an ASMR video would be super hilarious! I’d love to see and hear you take on ASMR.
Yay, yes more sculpting! But is there anything that you don't do great? I've watched your videos and I think that you are absolutely an artist and a great one! Your very entertaining, Bobby! Love your pets, too! You and your wife seem perfect together! God Bless!👍👊😊🥇👨🎨
Very impressive! I enjoyed the bit near the end where you explained the process, especially the tips about isopropyl alcohol and the painting methods. I didn't know about those two.
I do a lot of mediums we have so much in common when it comes to diversity. I have been doing polymer clay for about 3 years now and you sir have a talent that expands passed wewed LOL thank you for sharing the wonderful technique of your aluminum foil filler, you have changed my life and my game just from doing what you do. One thing I can say about this Dragon is "ah weont datt" lololol
Loved the video. Fell in love with the dragon. Loved watching the process. I think I would like watching the video no matter, sculpting or carving. Your creation/s are wonderful. Thank you for the video.
I have never really cared for art, but the work you do is absolutely mind blowing! I wish I had the mind to do some of this stuff. Keep up the good work
Omg you are so talented bobby! You should become *stutters* i don’t understand how you are not like a professional artist like you know on tv and i don’t understand why your artwork is not in museums
Amazing work. I need to be up in four hours but I stayed up to finish this! Would love to see all the clay working tools you use. Thanks so much for the great video!
Firstly, the music is awesome! And then, WOW! Pray God: You have a 3 D printing machine to share t his beautiful sculpture around the World! Of course, I was feeling generous toward myself and thought that I'd love one cast in Gold or Silver! But, that's just me dreaming and gleaming! LOL! Nope, dear Artist, you have done an awesome job - from inception to conception and beyond! Well done, and thank you very much for sharing! Would love more of your work showcased! You do it so well that me, who has little patience and even less concentration genes, was glued to the screen and even learned something new! Really good! Thanks - warmest wishes to You and Yours!
damn... I never thought about drawing it out like that... I'm in the process of making a polymer fairy house out of a wine bottle top I had left from a wind chime project I'm doing (I'm a multi craft kinda gurl) I've got my fairy house about 2/3 built and a friend said it needed a dragon laying on the roof... I was fascinated, and started doing research as that is a little out of my skill set (I'm a beginning polymer/sculptor but was surprised at how easy it was now that i have youtube and you guys that have real skills to teach me...thanks btw) I've been looking at polymer dragons on youtube, and found this one.... thanks for this, fast and clear on the details. It makes me know how I want to do mine, which will be very different, but will have some of the things you showed me here. Thanks again! Glad I found your channel.
watching this in 2019 is so funny bc like back in '15 who wewdve thought this was gonna be the same dude that shits out an ostrich egg as his video intros
As far as asking whether I prefer your wonderful sculpting videos or your fabulous carving videos, I would have to respond with a resounding definitive, yes.
I'd love to see as much as you deem necessary to share. Great detail! Thinking though you could use a bit more color. Thank you for sharing your expertise . Shari.
You are so good at what you do... Good Job😉... (Heehee, most people can't color in side the line of a coloring book, and here you're sculpting a whole clay dragon! Wow. Love it😊)
At 14:00, I went "WHAT WAS THAT?!" because I finally noticed the doggo in the back. I rewatched that moment about a dozen times because that is the best, most patient doggo ever.
He looks so very beautiful, I would proberly mess it up if I tryed, well at on time I did try, and decided to use glitter, but used way too much and I tuned the entire sculpture,,but I love watching the professionals, do it, like yourself, your totally amazing love that little guy, thankyou for your very inspiring video, keep up the great work,👍👍👍👍🐲🐉☺

LoreChirik oh hey a clay guy watching a guy using clay.
Hi
Hi lorechirick I watch your videos all the time
Hard to believe that at one point Bobby was actually calm and serious in his videos. Compared to his more energetic style he uses today.
Watching this reminded me why handmade art can be expensive. I am paying for the talent, time and the object I bring home.
HOW CAN SOMEONE BE SO TALENTED?!
