Wow! Totally nailed the final look. Amazing. I live in a hard-water area - so those little holes in the drip tray would slowly block with limescale and eventually the water will spill just spill over the sides. I thought the hole drilled in the side of the drip tray was a kind of emergency overflow setup? But then you fitted the water pipe to it - so it was an inlet fixing? But when the drip tray was slid in place the pipe wasn't attached? Was it an emergency overflow or an inlet fitting? Having the drip tray set up in a way that allows it to be slid in and out is cool: it can be quickly removed and the limescale cleaned off before it becomes a problem. This is the second of your presentations I have seen. Both are creative and inspiring. I have subscribed: want to see them all and any new stuff!
Thank you for your kind comment. The hole in a side of a drip tray is for an inlet, pipe was attached. Drip tray needs a little maintenance as those drip holes can get clogged over time
Wait.. so after putting in the pump, then the rocks, and soil cap, how did you get your water into the system? did you have to let it soak through until the soil was saturated and it pooled to the false bottom?
If onychium japonicum isn't available in your place, use lucky bamboo plant instead it will look beautiful. Stay tuned! Soon I'll make rain garden with lucky bamboo plant.
This is such an incredible creation. The concept of this was something I was completely unaware of until now. Thank you for your work and sharing this! 2 questions for you: 1) At the base, do you have to angle the floor in such a way to guide the water that has “rained” down towards the pump to recirculate it? 2) How long of a time interval do you allow a design like this to continue raining for before giving it a break? Could you give me an estimate rain to no-rain ratio?

apakah tanamannya itu tidak busuk kena air terus menerus?
How well does the pvc foam board do compared to acrylic sheets that you use in your other videos?
Pvc foam board works well but it absorbs moisture a bit not so good for waterproofing purposes. acrylic sheet is better.
@@langdiy is the foamboard still okay to use for hiding the water pump and cords, or is acrylic still the better option?
For such purposes foamboard is always better and easy to use.
Was that sand you put on onychium japonicum are something else 8:10
plastic paint? is it acrylic paint or a special kind of paint?
What kind of bamboo plant are you used here
How often or how long to you let the rain and light on ?

Slowly pour water on land, water stays beneath the layer of gravel.
@@langdiy Excellent. Well done
Thanks
Any alternative plant?
Bamboo plant
Please suggest me the layering...
Use small stones as a drainage layer, and akadama soil as a top layer
