Somebody finally did this! The acrylic and foam was a facepalm moment for me; I did a small(ish) moss wall in a far more complicated way in order to protect the sheet rock behind it from ANY dampness. I also take it off the wall to mist it. My concern with this project is that ANY leak, no matter how tiny, even small sustained splashes off the leaves, seem like they will cause mold. Please do update us; this is quite beautiful, and if it can be done safely, I might try it myself.
@@Nutamago you can do it indoor, but you need a hell of a ventilation and good wall insulation/painting. Usually a stone wall is nice for this, the problem is the ceiling as humidity tends to rise, specially if it's a drywall material
What a beautiful project . Please post an update in coming months , I`m sure that there are many of your subscribers ( including myself ) that would love to follow it`s progress over time . ❤👍

Currently no signs of any leaks Or mold. I'll post an update soon
now we wait for the 6 month/1 year video, because this is risky af. For the house, I mean, not for the plants
@@akiraic true, humidity stonks will ruin walls. Please dont do this indoor. do in glass enclosure or outdoor 😂

What kind of foam and caulk did you use? Any brands you prefer?
Expanding pu spray foam and general purpose silicone glue.
What mind of moss? It’s so vibrant!
Fern moss
Is the floor of the surrounding wet because of the “rain” bouncing off the leaves?

Such a bad idea! The humidity/moisture is going to cause mold all through the house.
