Interesting. I see you upgraded your design, much better this way. I think I would use thicker aquarium foam and mesh in front of the pump chimney (like biotope gallery) because I think clogging might become an issue like this. On top I would make less small holes and one bigger hole so I could create a waterfall beneath the big hole with some stones and wood. Nice inspiration, thank you :)
How do you make sure the pump and the drip system work at the same rate? I guess it would overflow otherwise, or the drip would be inconsistent. It's so beautiful!
Your videos inspired me to make a rain terrarium a couple of months ago. It's nowhere near as elegant or professional as you, but it showcases my nepenthes beautifully, with some spider plants, moss, branches and a random slug that showed up to complete a jungle feel. I named the slug Slim, and he has been quite happy in his new home :) Thank you for your time and dedication that inspires me to be creative ❤️
These are beautiful. Wondering what the planted sides look like from the outside. Do you paint the glass black or does the growing medium cover the black plastic framework, would love to see a picture on a future video. Thanks for sharing
I love the new set up! My friend and i are recreating your first onem two questions: what kind of water do you use? And why did you use the honeycomb cells for the walls and floor? I love the udea, just curious as to why you did it.
Thank you Rain water Or Ro water Honeycomb cell helps soil mixture from falling off, also using it as a drainage layer instead of rocks makes the setup lightweight.
I made myself a similar rainforest inspired by you and it’s amazing but this time apart from other developments in pump set up which is good I believe it became too much artificial like using plastics and what should I say not natural anymore. You an awesome artist you inspire me always but I felt it in this video.
What a beautiful creation! I really love this terrarium it makes me feel so relaxing just to look at it. However I wonder what is that clay made of? Thks
I really will try to build this. Moving and rain has a nice sound. Question how do you keep the mild and fungi out. Other people add spingtails, but I don't want to use any animals in my tank.
Nice, congrats! Eager to see the +2 months and +6 months evolution of this one! Where to find the black plastic trays used for the floor and the sides? Thks!
Really nice job, you inspared me to do one Can you give some advice on the maintanance please? Also, more or less what is the space between holes for the rain and how much milimeters they have? Thank you!
Your help is invaluable, i hope it is okay if i ask you a few more questions? How did you get the moss to stick on the walls, superglue? And do you have any tips for getting the rain drops to fall more randomly? Mine has drops falling in sync, like you can see the pattern of the drip tray when the water drops fall. Also, does the top lid provide space as well for aeration, or is it a complete fit to keep water in?
hello, instead of using drain cells can we just make a tray out of acrylic sheet , put some soil mix you showed and stick it to the walls of the terrarium and then plant plants in it?
Great job. I will try to make one. Could you tell me a technical/chemical/chientific name for acrilic sheets you use? I coudn't find such in my country, obviously on our market a diferent name is used. And also the liquid glue type and name/brand. Thank you in advance!
Hi! Is there a substitute for black soil? Is amazonian aqua-soil that is used in aquariums the same thing is the aquasoil u mentioned? Hope you reply to this...
Do you sell plant bundle like these plants shown here? And the rocks.. ect, the things needed for this build.? I would love to make my own beautiful rain forest..
@@langdiy Dear Lang , I bought 3mm acrylic sheet (plexiglass) and is strong like a diamond . I tried with simple cutter , with knives and nothing . Last option was rotary equipment from the office ( I am a dentist ) . But with the dental turbine i can not give complete straight line as if i used a ruler for example … I think you use 2 mm not 3 . Anyways , thank you again !
Very nice project. i can imagine myself sitting by the terrarium. may i ask what kind of water are you using for this project. I think tap would make a mess. Is it rain water, Distilled water, or RO water?
I will make one and keep it in my room. I will have AC on, do you think it will be an issue or since I do not have animal I don’t need to keep it humid?
It'll be fine, try not to keep it too close to your AC vents. These are moisture loving plants, You have to keep it humid, leave the pump on for atleast 5 mins a day.
Do you have any solution for the water deteriorating the compost/soil mix and ending up in the reservoir for the pump? As of right now for me I am dealing with slightly dirty water being pumped & raining, which I’m sure is not good for the health of the pump itself
I really dig your vids... and I'm not even into terrariums. It's like ASRM. Nice music, no talking... easy to watch. Now, not to be a douche, but I would avoid using a soldering iron to melt plastics... it's not good to breathe that stuff.
A dreamy little rain forest in a glass box! I love it!
Thanks
I was captivated by your last rain tank. But this one is mesmerizing! I hope those ferns survive, they are so beautiful!
Thank you, ferns are growing beautifully and healthy
@@langdiywich ferns are they? Looks like polystichum acuelatum from the leaves, but the rotting is differently

The ambient music, creative skills, the sound of dripping water and the green scenery combined to make something so peaceful to watch. Well done 🎉✨
Impressive, thanks for your inspiration. I'll start creating my own paludarium based on this methode. Thank you.

this would be great for breeding tree frogs (they breed in rain stimulations)
amazing job indeed...so inspiring. Can you please reveal the proportion for the mix you placed on the walls ??'
Cocopeat 60% black soil and compost 40%

Good job dear friend
What a beautiful creation! I really love this terrarium it makes me feel so relaxing just to look at it.
However I wonder what is that clay made of? Thks

That clay thing is a substrate mixture of black soil compost and cocopeat
Thank you for sharing just wondering what are the proportion of the substrate + black soil + coco peat as it looks more brownish than black.
@@ishakismail5053in the video it is mentioned 60% cocopeat 20% compost 20% black soil

You can find it on gardening shops, and online marketplaces
I finished my tank as you inspired me a lot ! But now I do have man flies in the tank. Do you have any recommendations how to get rid of them ? 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Very satisfying
Beautiful!! Are those rain drop sounds coming from the terrarium itself? Just wondering if they were added for effect. So stunning!
Thanks.
Yes rain drops sounds is coming from the terrarium itself.
That's really cool!
How to make steady the acrylic on the top? I cant see There is a seat for acrylic on the front side

I connected the pump on a timer, it rains for 1 hour a day every evening. It should not run more than 6 hours a day.
@langdiy it vey soothing.. ❤❤.. May i ask what is the variety of plant you have use.. For moss can i use normal aquatic moss?
