You didn't mention the larger motor, larger 85Amp ESC, power differences feeling in flight, stability differences with larger disc either, literally all the main reasons for the Max, and the biggest differences!!
Thank you so much for this nice comparison video. In my case I would prefer not to have any background music at all. I love the pure sound of any voice and of course hearing this thing flying is also much better w/o any music. Anyway, its just me - maybe others will like it with music.
Thanks for sharing. Couple questions, Will the servos that are on M4 work on the MAX? And, if i changed the M4 boom clamps to the MAX clamps could i use the MAX complete tail(of course 420 blades)? Thanks
Thanks for watching! The Max uses the same servos as the M4 BUT the Max does run a bigger motor so a new tail won't be the only thing you will need. You would have to buy the new motor and the pulley for the tail belt and the new esc. There is alot more different parts then you would think. Hope this helps!
Thanks for watching! I'm using the same setup for the M4 that Jonas posted on helifreak www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?4344137-OMPHOBBY-M4-Jonas-FBL-Setups only change I did was turned the yaw rate down and the pitch down by about 10%
Thanks for watching! The Max shares a few parts with the M4 but you would need a ton of parts to upgrade it to a max. The tail is entirely different and the length is different so i would not recommend trying to upgrade it.
Thanks for watching! The M4 Max is probably better at holding HS but to be honest I have never bogged either heli at 75% throttle on both with some decently hard 3D.
@@hixnada8278 I have been flying it for about 5 mins. High headspeed (65%) for 3 mins and the lower headspeed (55%) for 2 mins comes down around 3.7v a cell
Why are you doing this? I just bought the M4 and now you come with this MAX version? is this a Joke ? what should I do ? buy a new one ? upgrade my current brand new M4 , really ? It looks to me that you found out after releasing the m4 that there were problems and the solution is to " Invent " the M4 Max , and now you all are pushing the M7 , I beliebe that goosky will be my brand fron now on , Jonas I am very dissapointed
Thanks for watching! The M4 was released early 2023 and then the max was released end of 2023 . The max shares a few parts as stated but you would spend alot of money updating to the max. I personally fly both, the max flies alot bigger than the M4 so i like my m4 for the back yard and the max for the flying field. The M7 has been in the works for a long time. ALL models will still be supported no matter what.
What you should do is fly your M4, it's a great heli. The Max is just a bigger M4 with minor changes to support that, for those who prefer a 420 size (hello SAB RAW 420). There's nothing about it that makes the regular M4 obsolete if that is your complaint. Surely it's a good thing that they are giving us more options?
Thanks for the video, however it would have been easier to hear your comparison without the music in the background.
Yea they needa turn down the background music by like 75%.

Good job bud!! That Max is a baby doll!! 🙂

Can you maybe share your VBAR settings for the m4 max? I’m looking for a good starting point.

@@BuddyRCAre you on a Vbar Evo or Neo?
You guys think an Ikon 2 mini would be a good fit for the max?
Thanks for watching! The Ikon 2 would work just fine for the max.
@@BuddyRC I was asking about the mini. There’s a micro , mini and full size. Thanks!
@@OregonMotorcycle if you didn't already get the full size. Mini isn't needed for this size
Is the M4 / M4 Max pre-assembled or does it arrive in kit form?
Thanks for watching! It is kit form only. There is some parts assembled but mostly a kit.
What are the part list to get my m4 to m4 Max ? Do I need to change the motor and esc to fly bigger blades ????

@@BuddyRC Thank you for the quick reply , after knowing this , I think the wise way is to stick and enjoy my M4 as it is
which models holds headspeed the best under hard 3d?
Thanks for watching! The M4 Max is probably better at holding HS but to be honest I have never bogged either heli at 75% throttle on both with some decently hard 3D.
What is the biggest difference?
Thanks for watching! Mainly the flight characteristics and there is a lot of parts as mentioned in the video that are different as well.
Will a 6S 2200 pack work for the max?
Thanks for watching! Yes it will I have ran a 2600 Gens Ace pack with no issues just flies a bit heavier. Hope this helps!
@@BuddyRC thank you. What are the flight times with a 2600? Also do you think the best size is for the M4 Max?
