UPDATE: the exact (non-rounded number) is -31.766 cents. not all software allows for decimals in cents so -32 (rounded) is the closest option for that kind. cheers!
I was wondering why it's so imprecise and was about to ask, then I googled what cents are. "1 Hz is equal to roughly 4 cents." Welp. The word "roughly" tells me all I need to know! Thank you for the exact calculation. 🙂
Sir how can we measure any you tube vedio if it is 432 htz. Ex KHAWA JONG MEDITATION channel song of OM MANI PADMY HUM, I want to now his frequency and want to change in 432 htz for my meditation. Pls help sir ji
It work's but the music sounds so over-compressed after this, to a point, where i would say, 440hz actually sounds more natural. I think if you really want to enjoy real 432hz, the music needs to be recorded that way from the start. What do you guys think?
yes, ideally we want to play and record in 432 hz from scratch, however when done correctly post processing conversion to 432 from 440 should not sound any different from the original other than being a little bit lower in pitch overall. quality-wise it stays the same, as i've done multiple albums this way and honestly it's hard to tell the difference which is which since they both sound great quality wise. maybe there's something in your settings affecting quality??
@@432HzMusicTV I did everything right. Also you should know that in Logic -32 cent's = 431,9hz. If you really want true 432hz you'd needed to set -31,8 cents, which sadly isn't possible to set in Logic. You can only change your tuning in to this amount. So Logic is basically the worst program to use when changing the song to 432hz. Even free programs like Audacity do a better job. But i want to know which program yields the best result's.
i click process and paste and it says The file “LogicSampleClip1” doesn’t exist. on literally every sample when the sample isnt even called “LogicSampleClip1” ...
When bouncing a track at 432 hz into a master channel, does the same process still apply or do you leave the master bounce at 440 hz to keep the previous files tuning resolute. Any help would be greatly appreciated
Awesome video, man! I'm planning on mixing an entire album in 432 hz, but whenever I do the steps you showed, the audio sounds real choppy when I process and paste. Is there any fix or workaround to this?
Why Logic? Is Logic the best there is period? Will this give you lossless audio conversion to 432 Hz? Or is Logic lossy? and is there something better than Logic? Because going out and buying a Mac just to use Logic is kinda insane, so it better be the best there is for creating audiophile grade lossless audio for it to be worth it lol.
Just wanted to point out the fact that -32cents, while being the closest you can get to 432Hz in logic, is not precisely 432Hz. 32 cents gives a 1,832% (according to logic) difference with 440 while 440/432=1.01852(roughly) which make a 1,852% difference. You're 0,02% off. I know it's not a lot, but it'd be satisfying to be exactly at 432hz :/

@@432HzMusicTV no the time and pitch machine aswell as a lot of the other options were grayed out. i could possibly try bouncing the song to an mp3 or something and doing it to just the single audio track, but i dont really work that way so im not sure how itll work.

What about pro tools?
I know it's kinda randomly asking but does anybody know a good place to stream new series online ?
It it’s not exactly 432 😕

hmm.. strange. make sure you keep all your bit depth and sample rate the same..
I had the same problem. I’m importing a 16 bit AIFF, it sounds choppy upon conversion. Do I have to change a setting in Logic?
The same happens to me. Did you find out why this happens?
Your explanation is excellent. Very nice video!!😀
Thank you. Can you do 936 hz please if still doing videos?
Can you apply this tuning to only one software instrument? Or can it only apply to all of them
How to convert to 528 hz ?
440 + 88 cents = 528 ?

just record everything in 440 (default) and convert your final master file separately using logic or audacity. cheers!

which one is actually correct for music between 432 and 440?
if you mean which is better between 432 and 440, I much prefer 432. and many others do once they notice the difference.
i cant do this with vocal recordings only my audio melodies. does anyone know why?
audio files (including mp3) pre-recroded in 440 need to be properly converted to 432 using Logic or Audacity
