- Rep. Ted Lieu (D-CA) called out media outlets for ignoring Donald Trump’s connection to the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Lieu referred to court filings alleging Trump flew with, exchanged phone calls, and took photos with Epstein. This is just days after a Florida judge released graphic transcripts from the state’s 2006 prosecution of Epstein that ended with few consequences for the financier at the time.
Lieu called for Trump to drop out of the race, adding that his proven sexual abuse of E. Jean Carroll and multiple felony convictions make him unfit for office.
