- Well, folks.... The "workin man" found another electric axe to shred with his superhuman powers on. This time it's Jim Mills incredible ORIGINAL burst 1960, Gibson Les Paul powered through a 1959 Fender amplifier. That ladies and gentleman is the true definition of TONE. And man did that sucker rip!!
All the best and keep rollin,
RC

I seen the back ground and knew it was a special video. There’s no other place in the world like it!
Oh, no! Jake Workman can play electric like a killer too! He can bend strings and vibrato. Bluegrass monsters aren't supposed to be able to do that.
Funny, I went to high school with Jake - he was known for classic rock back then, and he was incredibly good. A friend just told me to look up his bluegrass and I came across this video. The bluegrass is obviously incredible, but about at about 2:10, that's the Jake Workman I remember.
He studied jazz in college, I believe
The bridge pickup! Would love to hear him jam on that tele!
Amazing talent.
If Jim’s impressed then...
@ 0:52 that growl!
Let er rip Jake .
Maybe Jake wants to buy my '73 Black beauty Ltd edition copy of 1954 model. Excellent condition too! Just say the word---I never play it anymore. got a Martin instead.
