This channel is about painting miniatures for your warhammer, infinity, warmachine & d&d games, as well as age of sigmar and warhammer 40k. space marines, space wolves, sisters of battle, stormcast eternals, beastclaw raiders, mawtribes, cities of sigmar, chaos space marines. Also painting different scale models and miniature busts! How to paint NMM. How to paint warhammer, how to paint D&D figures.
WHAT SHOULD WE BASH NEXT??
Make a big robot from different armies using a titan or dreadnought. Ex a dreadnought who's part eldar, ultramarines, orks and necrons.
A conversion a Necrosphinx upper body and a Mawloc Lower (Snake)
the ultimate challenge! make a catachan look not bad
I would love to see a re-imagination of the Sanguinor, I find his model a bit dated and am currently drawing up my own plans of how to portray him. Great video as always !
Noise-marine!!!!
I have a soft spot for kit-bashing. But this... this isn't soft. 10/10
i really hated the "achtually" guy.... its a loincloth call it what it is, tabards are pretty much ponchos that go down to your hips, like if you're going to be wrong just own it and make it super wrong
Wonderful conversion, Trov
THIS could make an AMAZING Mephiston mini with his BLACK WINGS...
*hint
Well well well! Of course Scot shows up praising a >>Vampire
Yes, please, paint it for a competition. It already looks incredible so I can only imagine how amazing it will look painted to a high standard.
The video really shows how much you're already thinking about the painting phase during the kitbashing phase, not something we really see anywhere else on YT. Also, balanced design done with great taste, would like to see GW going down the same path haha. Finally a CSM design that "breathes"
Great work. Can't wait to see you painting the mini
"Kit bash"... This is an absolutely epic conversion! Thank you for making this video. I'll be rewatching this one several times.
There is just so much to gush about! The precision with which you carve the slots for the additional parts is watchmaker level. And that milliput work you did on the trims is inspiring! It looks so smooth and uniform in thickness.
I look forward to seeing the epic paint job that you'll give this one!
This is just amazing. I wish GW made night lord models that looked half as cool as that. Going to be an amazing piece.
I shall coin the term "Hammer-Head" for WarHammer fans! You're welcome.
👏🏼 to intro.
YES BABY, it’s night lords day. Finally!!!
Yay more conversion videos ! Fantastic stuff, glad you went very in-depth here and showed the process step by step. Hope you keep doing these kind of videos from time to time.
This is a really beautiful piece. But the thing I loved most is how you focus on techniques and how you walk us through the process of decisions you make, and not just go 'here are the bits I used'. So it's not just a beautiful conversion, but also very helpful video!
you're a living masterclass, maximum respect and appreciation is all this channel deserves
one of the best start to finish kitbashing tutorials I´ve seen so far! Thanks man
Amazing work Kris!! I loved this conversion when I saw it on your Instagram and I’m so glad you made a full video of the process!!
Aside from the highest quality content, the humor is also outstanding
I'm so happy you ended up making the video. I absolutely loved every second of it. Thank you!
Great breakdown on basic sculpting. This kind of conversion work was always the most inspiring part of working on an army for me
Aww beans, I really wanted to see this painted!
Incredible sculpt, your fine motor control is astounding :)
The advice on how to do the moulding is invaluable! I have had some issues with this and think your technique will solve it! thank you!
Glad it helped!
I’ve watched you grow over the years, and I just wanted to take the time to say that you are one of my favorite painting / hobbyists that I follow. I’ve had some criticism in the past, but it wasn’t coming from a bad place. It was genuine, only to maybe help steer in the right direction. But you never needed my advice, and it probably wasn’t appropriate on my part. You have done wonderfully and thank you for all that you do. This hobby wouldn’t be the same without your work.
Incredible video, the kit-bash itself is stunningly good and it's great to see how professional your video editing has become. Keep it coming!!!
You are a master at your craft! Keep up the amazing work!
Amazing work, the finished product looked incredible! Can't wait to see it painted.
This is straight up awesome! Can't wait to see it painted!
That helmet shape is really doing work for this guy!
Absolutely wicked.
Another fantastic video. And congratulations on breaking 100k, I didn't realize you were already over 100k.
THIS could make an AMAZING Mephiston mini with his BLACK WINGS...
Very good model and also I honestly really like that color scheme of you ignore the blue arm, charcoal and beige is really good together.
Fantastic video. Love your content. One of the absolute best hobby youtubers.
This is so cool! Thank you for spreading the good word about thermoplastic molds, I saw you use them to create a base a few months back and since then have had a lot of fun using it for basing and conversions.
Overall, it looks great but I personally think the wings on his pauldron are just one too many sets of wings. They also kinda seem to clash with the wings on the helmet, or vie for focus or something, just a first impression.
I thought so as well. I just imagine him trying to turn his head and getting his helmet caught on his shoulder.
One of your best videos, it looks amazing!!
amazing work!! cant wait to see it all painted up.
What a cool conversion! Keep up your work, it is such a high quality :)
Thanks, will do!
At times it's like watching Bob Ross. Somthings look so good and then he appears to destroy it, only to come out looking exceptional. You sir, are an artist on the next level.
Every time I think I am catching up you come out with another video highlighting a skillset that I need to focus on. Next stop, miliput town!!!
The asymmetry of the lower body is really engaging to the eye. Lovely work :D
This needs defently a cool base😉... absolute cool conversion... greetings from germany🤩
Farken amazing mate... your attention to detail is second to non !!
Really great stuff, I don't think too many people can handle sculpting as good as you do. Also, congratulations on 100k!
Never liked Night Lords but this model is changing my mind. Would love to see you do an Alpha Legion infiltrator or something along those lines. There's loads of great artworks and I find even Forge World don't sell the parts to do them justice. Would like to see how you do scales on armor and cloaks as well!
Dude you need to read the night lords books. The first one is called “soul hunter.” Thank me later
This is a great idea! Apha Legion, definetly! Maybe an hydra/lizard themed possessed?
That's awesome seeing such a complex conversion in such detail.
Amazing work! That turned out great.
Can't wait to see how it looks with some paint on it!
Oh look it's my Bitz Boxes in action, happy to see you finally found some use for it ^-^
What an outstanding kit bash! Fantastic model 👍👍
Bro, it's absolutely stunning
This needs to be a kit bash and sculpting channel. Who needs paint amirite?!
This is probably the coolest conversion I’ve ever seen.
Okay I really need to see this painted. Looks so cool
He look way better than he has any right to considering how much is just hand sculpted.
This was an extremely satisfying video to watch! Bravo
That looks amazing, cant wait to see it painted!!
You and me both!
Awesome bash! Looking foward to see the painted result!
I love it! The shoulder skull could have a couple vampire fangs gripping the bone
Aish...If I had thought about the bluestuff.... the number of parts that I destroyed for my conversions and could have been saved....
Chris, amazing video as always!
Can't wait to see this baby painted! Awe inspiring work Trov
7:19 WRONG! that's some fantasy bs. Tabards are side open armour covering that stop around upper to mid-thigh. Surcoats are side closed shin to ankle length armour covering often with a riding split (think crusading knight), the open sides narrow cloth worn by fantasy Paladins, often mislabelled as a tabard, is called a monastic scapular (though it was never worn over armour historically). Those loincloth things worn over armour have no specific European name aside from loincloth, as they never existed historically as armour covering. So loincloth is entirely appropriate. Though the type that Bladeguard Veterans wear that you can see goes under the armour, that's definitely a Monastic Scapular.
Great work man, you keep delivering epic content!
Love this conversion! It wasn't until you had it all together that I realized the helmet reminded me of Imorten Joe from Mad Max Fury Road.
I would love to see some ork conversions. The best orks are the unique ones.
He looks absolutely amazing!
This is a hella good model! can't wait to see it painted up :D
As for the next model, you could try your hands at something a bit larger, like a contemptor dreadnought of sorts
This is one of the Best conversions on the Net fright now
For fine sculpting, it looks like that color-shaper is worth its weight in gold!
looks awesome. I can't wait to see it painted.
Wow what a great job. I would love to see more 40k kitbashes and conversions.
I love the wings breaking out of the pack 💕
This was very entertaining and informative as usual, thanks!
Extrem geile Conversion, der Stil von der Miniatur is jetzt ned unbedingt meins, aber de technische Umsetzung is da Hammer. Respekt!
That's some very cool conversion work.
Instead of putty or epoxy, I put UV resin in the mold. It flows really well and has fewer voids if any.
Can you tell me what's the name of the thing is where he is copy the structure with? I don't understand it from the video
I can’t wait to watch it painted!!!
Next conversion could be….an Ironjawz???
Awesome video and incredible end result! Night lords are my favorites 😁
the head sculpt is impressive
Looks, like you had a good time making this guy. 😄
Trovarion, man... this was amazing. Honestly, the work you did looked so clean, that it almost looks EASY, which I know is not the truth xD
It was really hard for me to take my minis and start painting with my own color schemes, don't look for recipes, and basically, play with the color. But this is just another level. My head almost hurts just trying to think of different poses or conversions like this one. Is like my brain can't think of options or poses far from the original that I have in front of me.
Anyways, great video mate. 👏
This is great, but what might actually be the most helpful was the very beginning; recognizing that I have all these cool models I'll probably never paint, and so it's okay to cannibalize them for projects rather than let them collect dust forever.
This was pretty awesome. I have to see it painted!
Looks amazing! Subbed for sure! Listening to the night lord audio books at the moment and this definitely transports the spirit!
Watching this is so helpful in a ton of small ways. I use air dry clay, very therapeutic for my hands, to work on some columns for a terrain piece. It's been a little hard to get milliput here but will get some in time. Looking forward to playing with and sculpting with it for some kit bashing and other stuff :)
Thank you for showing flag of my country, I really appreciate it
I used to think that such small things like this did not help, I was wrong
They help, they inspire
Bro, thats sick! I cant wait to see this painted.
I have so much to learn!!! All this looks so awesome can't wait to try it for myself!!!
The sculpting is extremely crisp and fits the model perfectly: I think I would either tilt the torso back more or rotate the wings into a downward stroke, maybe the handle of the sword is too skinny for a Primaris scale model? I'm trying to judge by the highest standards, you know your works world class.
this mini looks INSANE
Bonkers and awesome. Can't wait to see it painted up.
You and me both!
Looks super good, I am just curious about the lack right shoulder pad being just regular and significantly smaller than the left one. Have you considered making it more prominent to maintain the symmetry?
No, I left it like that on purpose
Excellent work, maybe a demon possessed word bearer would be a fun project.
Got to love them possessed space marines
Simply stunning! It's awesome!
That looks awesome! I hope whenever you get that mini painted you post a video of it. Unpainted it's bad@ss I bet it will look even better with one of your paint jobs.
Please show us how you paint it when you get round to do it! Looks great!
My pockets are crying for you
I appreciate the starting screen
This video was actually pretty inspiring. I had been trying to come up with my own Homebrew chapter for a while and I had settled on making a Primaris Chapter that was secretly derived from the Nightlords Gene-seed. I called them the Malum Strike, visually I was trying to figure out how to put them together (I love the nightlord design so I wanted that to show through).
The Strikes as a chapter are divided into numerous small cells instead of ten companies and serve pretty much as Space Marine Terror cells behind enemy lines. They still have the Nightlords bad habit of wearing the remains of their enemies as trophies. When they return from a mission back to the Chapter Fleet the Librarius and Chaplaincy wipe their minds of the deeds done and discard most of the rotting trophies that a brother may have accrued save for those from targets of great renown. Those trophies are, preserve and re-added to the battle plate. Brother's who go too long without a wipe are said to hear a maddening whisper that always portends disaster. After the wipe brothers are tested to see if they are still compromised (still hearing he whispers).
Their Chapter fleet drifts around the galaxy often trying to stay unobserved and eliminating any who happen upon it. In order to properly located and gain access to the Chapter fleet requires many esoteric and clandstine measures so much so that the Imperium never calls on them but it was never their role to be called upon, they're role is to keep any force other than the Imperium on the back foot.
Malum Strikes: "Nos sumus malitiosa intentio"
Can't wait to see this guy painted.
Definitely watching to see it painted later
Awesome !!
I'd love to see it primed and/or painted !!
And I'd love to see you create a world eater in the same kind of way
Totally one of the best Night Lords models I've seen.
holy milliput batman, this is great work T. Would love to see it painted up
What an absolute unit... Also nice mini!
I'd love to see you kitbash a stormcast eternal to look like a more classic medieval Knight
