But they didn’t technically falsify an emergency because Scully is constantly having a medical emergency 😂
At ALL times 😂
@@gordonwalden5961 They did lie and say that they were commandeering the crop duster in the interest of national security. I think that would be considered falsifying an emergency.
Considering who Holt was up against for commissioner you could argue it was in the interest of national security @@shootingcomet082
Yeah, they meant the commandeering of the plane for “national security” (aka there’s a national emergency) reasons, not the ambulance.
They meant about the plane not the medical emergency, being late for a commissioner job is not a matter of national security
The heists alone would make an hour long video on their crimes. Pimento on his rap sheet also has drug use (which Holt even procured for him and watched him take it). Kevin and Rosa also done for impersonating an officer when rescuing Holt and Jake from O'Sullivans (which they were there by impersonating utility workers to steal and break into his laptop).
Jake, Rosa, Holt, and Pimento leaving the 99 likely brought down crime a lot in Brooklyn.
True😂 Also Gina forging the coroner’s signature and forcing Amy to stamp it to verify Pimento’s “death certificate “. And the episode when they were in Florida and Gina stole/drove a random truck with Captain Holt to go save the 99 then crashed into the criminal as he was about to flee😂😭😭😂
amy ignored it when she saw rosa take an edible
@@wwiimmppaait was a prescription, very legal
@@Evthesnev Well Yeah i did know that but i wasnt sure since She took one without a reason
Drug use isn't a crime. You also assume real cops aren't criminals.
I’m actually surprised that Gina wasn’t arrested for going out of control with that flamethrower
Well, the show's mainly supposed to be fun, not realistic.
She harmed no-one and was given licence to use it. Also not a real flamethrower.
It's not a flamethrower though
She could've been, we don't know. Terry did say "somebody take her down"
The charges would've had to be pretty minor, though.
@@calvinbrinenestoris2357 i mean im pretty sure the whole scene was a gag anyway
I love the detail at 05:57
Scully casually keeps drinking, even if it is cement
A free drink is a free drink!
Joke Peralta is a pretty solid burn hah
It always gets a giggle in this house
Which is why he got so mad and arrested him without any evidence 😂😂
I love how Judy has to pull out all his best manipulations and tricks to get one over on Jake, but for any other cop all he needs is a pen. And I love that Jake knows Judy is so brilliant that he can just give Judy that pen and he'll be alright.
4:53 I truly like to believe that this is the moment that Peralta’s mind set the wheels in motion where he would eventually be leaving The 99
Doug is worth it
Man I never thought about this, but it makes sense, especially when you consider his time in prison. Then Rosa's reasoning for leaving would've also had an impact. Like I think by the end with all his experiences he just couldn't be a part of the system anymore. Rosa mirrors it by leaving for the same reasons, and given that they came up together in the academy and were thick as thieves, is just all adds up to me. I think if he didn't have Mac, he'd have still left eventually, maybe not when he did but he would've
@@stratidemic Yeah Rosa leaving and having Mac and wanting to be a full on dad changed him. Then he has the greatest wife ever who loves him no matter what. His heart wasn’t in it anymore. That’s why he helped Doug Judy escape. He knew he was a good person at heart. Look at how even Boyle had a change of heart at 2:36.
@@gordonwalden5961 I dunno if that's a change of heart 😂 I don't think Boyle would've supported Jake helping him escape at all, I don't think he'd have turned him in though. I think the only one who would've stood by him in that is Rosa tbh. But yeah I don't think Boyle ever saw Judy as a good influence on Jake and generally didn't stand by that friendship, like outside of the "omg I'm addicted to you bestie" thing he had going
I just though about it 😯😯😯 I think the same
I appreciate them playing the “Final Countdown” song while Amy makes her plan so much.😊❤
Also, even though Doug Judy is a criminal, his and Jake’s friendship is so wonderful (despite all the betrayals 😅).😊💜
Totally agreed.
I love their friend/nemesis relationship.
No but honestly why is Jake and Doug Judy’s rivalry friendship all I live for
And let’s not forget about the time Jake Gina and Pimento broke into a house and stole stuff.
At 5:59 scully is the only one who doesn't spit out the beer, meaning either he was the only one to receive actual alcohol, or he can't tell the difference between beer and cement.
Nah, he knew. There was a line earlier in the episode where Gina told him that her followers were sick of him drinking cement. He even asked for more of it, dude is just weird. A legend, but a weird one
@@gilesm5716 lmao. Scully is the best
or: he actually DOES know its cement and just liked it
That one with Amy planning the whole trip is amazing haha
Don't forget Hitchcock using "basically just speed" to cheat during Jimmy Jab Games ll and even getting explicitly called out for this!
Probably not even the most illegal thing Hitchcock's done.
“And I told you, I already am” gotta admit, that’s flawless logic
you're forgetting jak's prison phone which unlike other contraband counts as attempting escape, since amy and boyle knew and helped them they also have conspiracy charge as well
The most f'ed up thing about this video: "Waterboarding: Aggravated Assault!" How in the nine hells is that not classified as torture?
Fun fact: It's not legally waterboarding if you use diesel
@@borskavin6395 I mean... Then it would be dieselboarding? Should probably still count as torture... Of course it wont be long lasting because people tend to die from that.
@@ppunion yeah of course both things are (or should be treated as) torture
@@borskavin6395 Oh I know that you were joking. So was I. I was just a bit to dry to properly show in text. :D
@@ppunion no worries, I like to sprinkle some seriousness about such issues into funny convos too. it's like lemon juice on the face towel of my victim
1:24 you could actually hear the pride in Jake, Boyle, and Terry's expressions and the "dayum" on Hitchcock and Scully and the amazement in Holt and Rosa's hahahhaha
And yet the only time when jake actually goes to prison, it’s for something he didn’t do
Legend has it scully chugged that cement beer😂😂
Just like real cops
I just love how Jake smiles here at 1:06. He's so proud of her.❤
Finally. I've had this idea for a comp for ages but no one ever made one. I even considered making it myself.
7:57 time that would be spent in prison
The real crime was canceling this show. Punishable by be being sad for life.
All good things must end or it will corrupt jtself
@@TheSpider2674 but by ending it corrupted me. I’ll never be the same.
@@Hotbeef420I hear ya
@@TheSpider2674 this must be what old people feel like when they talk about the “good ole days.”
Please. The only way this doesn't get rebooted in ten years is if they catch Andy Samberg insulting dogs or whatever the PC cancel nonsense is in a decade.
I love Rosa at 1:24, clapping but in utter disbelief and shock 😂😂
Scully is always having a medical emergency.
They were so close to the sentence being 99...
3:43 the Dutch is so horrendous 😂😂😂
I also love how the "Dutch" street doesn't look like The Netherlands at all
As a Dutchy, I’ve got to say that that is the most American depiction of Amsterdam I’ve ever seen
Abuse of power is not a crime in the United States.
0:15 isn't actually a crime since Scully admitted he's always having at least one medical emergency 😂
well i guess comandeering the plane would be abuse of power since it’s not actually for a national security threat
Isn't 96.5 years + 180 days basically 97 years?
I'm sure you could have found another 2 somewhere.
I think the parenthesis indicate he’s just letting people know that 0.5 year is 180 days. Not sure tho
Technically can be a national security emergency try are depriving new york of the deputy commissioner which could be considered critical infrastructure. Disruptions of critical infrastructure could result in catastrophic loss of life or adverse economic effects,
Total years should have been 99😭😭😂
Assisting a prison escape: 10 yrs in prison
Assaulting a police officer: Life in prison
Police arresting a suspect without any evidence: No consequences whatsoever
Ah, yes, the justice system is truly just.
"Assaulting a police officer: Life in prison"
Who told you that nonsense?
@@alphanerd7221 5:20
Did you not watch the scene fully? If they don't provide evidence without 48 hours they face a lawsuit
Clearly you didn’t watch it fully because suspects can go free if there us no evidence
There is consequence to that
Oh yeah, this is the best compilation video
7:15 OK so Gina actually does canonically have a license to own a flamethrower. and also, she is not using a flamethrower here.
Is there a scene with Pimento where he's not committing a crime?
3:54
This is LITERALLY masterful writing
bro what
@@darioaraiza752 whoops sorry I meant 3:54
ghive being the best fandom there is
Ya'll said faking an emergency when Scully said very clearly he was actually having one
I think it was National Emergency and not a Medical Emergency.
Also all of the times the drink straight from the bottle in public
Gina is innocent, it's just lighter and a spay bottle 😂
She was using it recklessly, at the worst it's still first degree reckless endangerment as she had stated that she wanted to do it, which is a class D felony, up to 7 years in prison with minimum two 1/3 year sentence, so, take the criminal possession of a weapon
@@AdmiralHalsey1944I mean it was for self defence so
@@littlelove13 they were surrounded by officers. He wasn't trying to attack her, just escape
@@AdmiralHalsey1944 self-defense, and a lighter plus a spray bottle is not possession of a weapon
@@itsthejavavoid not typically, but she had created a weapon with it and was using it recklessly, and no, not self-defense, as I stated previously, they were surrounded by officers. Additionally, Sergeant Jeffords even stated they had to stop her
kinda crazy how jake in the end was just super chill about committing a felony by helping doug judy escape. Also you can count evidence being suppressed against the Jimmy figgis cause they acted outside their jurisdiction and charges for interfering with a federal investigation (also the Jimmy Figgis case)
Omg I was waiting for someone to make this video!!!
Don’t forget that time that Gina, jake, and pimento all broke into a house to steal pimentos earrings
toda la escena de santiago haciendo el plan oara que holt llegue bien y todos estan ???? y jake esta ENAMORADISIMO me parte al medio
0:41 that made me cackle like a fucking maniac
Slurp slurp!
That's not a flamethrower though... just a hair spray bottle. does that still count?
nope
The only criminal is Gina
If we're doing an honest tallying up of the crimes committed by the cast, Pimento alone would push them up to the point of multiple consecutive life sentences.
That's actually pretty scary tho because i feel like in reality, cops would get away with lots of crimes
The “you just drank cement” from Gina will forever be iconic
Technically tho Gina's flamethrower was improvised with an aerosol and a lighter and therefore not really a flamethrower so that wouldn’t technically count as illegal possession of one
She should be charged with assault with a deadly weapon and reckless endangerment of the public.
@@trueblue6201 considering it's Gina, she would have absolutely no trouble going to court and getting her name cleared in the name of self-defense.
That dutch actually sounded a lot like German with a dutch accent. I understood every word XD
There is an episode where Amy openly steals a toilet seat (Show Me Going)
Owning a flamethrower is only illegal in California without a license, and Maryland outright
Correct. They used the wrong criminal charge. It should be assault with a deadly weapon and reckless endangerment of the public.
Plus, it also wasn't a flamethrower
Think I speak for everyone when I say we’ll let the Doug one slide
@1:57 is that grandpa max's rv
no no, interior is different
God, I love Amy
To be fair to Pimento: he did say “accidentally” and that it was “in self defense” in most states if it truly is self defense you’re legally allowed to defend yourself
3:44 HELP THAT WAS NOT DUTCH😭😭😭
What episode is the first one never seen it
I was looking for way more crimes from Pimento
Also Gina stealing and selling police badges over the phone
Being a criminal is socially acceptable if you’re a cop
6:29 dude
Yeah that didn't age well
I understand that it's a very bad decision by the writing team. But they did learn from their mistakes in the later seasons and wrote a lot of scenes which show police brutality and it's impact especially in the episode where Terry gets racially profiled.
Doug Judy pissed me off so much oh lord
one thing i see b99 haters criticize is how illegal some of their actions are but also
its
not
meant
to be realistic??
its a comedy??
if we wanna talk about illegal activity we should talk about the office 😭😭😭
Adrians crimes shouldn't be counted since he wasn't part of the squad
Also Gina.
He was briefly before going back under cover.
@@alphanerd7221 Gina is definitely a member of the 99 squad.
@@trueblue6201 No she isn't.
@alphanerd7221 She is a member of the squad. She is not an officer. Being a member does not require them to be a detective.
Y’know, for people who are NYPD detectives, they sure are TERRIBLE at their jobs.
They are absurdly competent.
Yea, abusing their power just like real cops
yknow, for actors in a comedy, they do pretty good at their jobs.
Is the first 1 really a crime I don't know much about the US laws but jake needed to be there to arrest a criminal wich Rosa alone couldn't
Ik the characterisation in S8 is really bad but Jake letting Doug off? Ridic.
Cops breaking the law, color me shocked 😒
how is gina feeding cement to the gang, assault, they had prior knowledge thus could have been more careful
also: insulting a police officer is obstruction of peace
3:43 I love B99, but was it really too much effort to have someone who at least knows how dutch sounds to record this? Google translate' robot voice would've sounded better.
Did you notice the flag on the plane? Is that russian??
Good thing they all have qualified immunity
That has nothing to do with criminal charges.
Gina didn't have a flamethrower in her possession though. It was a spray on and a lighter. That is not against the law. 😅
They charged her with the wrong crime. Possession of a flamethrower is legal in every state except Maryland and California, where it is a restricted weapon. The correct one would be assault with a deadly weapon. The penalty would depend on the amount of damage the victim suffered. If he is mostly unharmed, she would probably be looking at a max of 4 years.
She also could definitely be sued by the victim.
She may also face charges of reckless endangerment of the public due to her swinging that flamethrower around. That carries a max of 7 years.
You forgot the time Rosa and Jake literally went to prison lol
Yeah, but they were framed so I don't know if I'd count that as them actually committing a crime
@@ham8606true

Sadly drinking cement isn’t technically a crime. It’s a simple prank. Nice try though
Isn’t it endangering others?
I mean, pretty sure it could kill a person. We frown on that here on Earth.
Plenty of pranks are crimes.
Gina playing that prank isn’t a crime though? And it’s not really assault so it’s not something she would actually be charged for
It would be endangering others though
It is assault. Just not battery which some people conflate with assault.
@@TheDisplacerBeast You've got that backwards. Battery is actual physical harm. Assault is just announcing the intention to do harm.
@@alphanerd7221 its different depending on where you are, where i live assault is just behaviour that could be deemed offensive regardless of the harm done. So if someone is afraid of spiders, another person deliberatly dumping a box of spiders on them could count as assault, even though they werent actually harmed it caused them a lot of distress.
This is what i was counting the cement as. Given they all spat it out, it could be argued none of them came to harm, however they certainly were caused distress.
Battery here is a really high bar. You need to show not only physical contact, but also lasting damage.
My apologies, i should have worded my comment more clearly.
@@TheDisplacerBeast Well you are either wrong or you don't live in America.
this is why the show is copaganda because you’re supposed to root for the main characters despite them being hypocritical and abusing their power
Are you incapable of having fun? Brooklyn 99 is hilarious
Well no. Especially in the last season, thw show calls out police officers abusing their power. Even jake is held accountable for massively screwing up. When any of the characters mess up, beyond just being lighthearted sitcom comedy, they are held accountable and are made aware that they screwed up
This is a comedy my guy relax
it's not supposed to be real
Plus, they have many episodes where they actually cover the issue of cops actually abusing power
Never liked this show. it was never funny at any point. I wanted to like it. But it's just a really weak attempt of rejected SNL skits that even SNL said no to.
Your sad 😅
The show is funny like British comedy. Holt counting steps in his head instead of a pedometer is one of my favorites. Like a normal person 💀
You didn't even give it a chance
