This scene is supposed to trigger when you cross the bridge to the Blighted Village, so make sure to knock her out before then!
Only way to save her is to knock her out in the Druid Grove where you first meet her. Otherwise, she is toast. I tried killing my MC before going to bed (controlling another character). She winds up dead anyway (but, at least YOU didnt kill her).
