Why doesn't it use the voice actor when you play as her? It's a bit of a disincentive.

The thing about the Aldecaldos is every single one of them is too damn smart for their own good. They're showing machiavellian levels of manipulation and palace talk / intrigue. Except unlike corpos who are in it for themselves, nomads are in it for the good of the family, just with each individual having different ideas on how to best go about it.

I cannot play Origin besides Durge for the simple fact that the default tav face/silence just doesn't sit well with me on Origin characters.

I never heard this dialogue for her and my approval skyrocketed to high only after 3 long rests…I mainly just respected her privacy…I rarely get anything sassy from her…she seemed most sincere

I romanced gale as karlach because she gets the best ending she becomes a god with him and she doesn't have to be in hell

its so tough, cuz I really think the origin characters are the way to go with this game. it makes you a part of the world. a custom character just feels so...separate and disconnected from the story. BUUUUT, since I (like many people) played a custom character first, the origin characters not being voice acted feels so WEIRD. and probably more importantly, I already know all their stories so I don't get to experience them properly for the first time :(
