    Mike, Thank you so very much for providing this video! Solved my problem within the first 41 seconds of the video!
    A guest building at a newly purchased home has a multi-zone Mitsubishi system -- but I didn't KNOW that! All I knew was there was no cooling in the room I wanted to be in. Fan was running and the remote seemed to be working, but could NOT get any cooling. Central Florida in August and pretty damned HOT! So, I watched the basic video and learned how to use the remote, but I decided to watch this video also before heading over to see what I could do.
    At 41 seconds, you mentioned multi-zone systems with one set for heat and the other for cooling. Eureka! I said. I went over to the second room in the building and, sure enough, set for HEAT. Set that system to cooling and by the time I got back to the other side, I could feel the cool air as soon as I entered the room.
    Great help, and MANY THANKS!
    Chuck -- cool in High Springs

    I added like 372 to your video. Ive had this unit 2 years with very very limited info on how this mystery remote works and you answered all of my questions with both of your excellent tutorials. Only thing I will add id he Mitsubishi really needs to up their remote game for these units. I mean...this thing looks like a 1980's TV remote and my unit did not come with wifi for my phone to connect and it looks as if I maigh could add it but it also is very dated. At any rate thank you very much...the timer feature will save me many trips upstairs at night to turn it off.

      I have watched them all and they are very clear but it does not tell me if the fan should be running when I set it to 50. The temperature is at 70 when set it but the fan comes on. I set it for the cold nights so it's not needed during the day. I just feel like when I leave the fan runs the hole time I'm gone. Thanks for responding.

    Do I have to point the remote to the air conditioner when setting the start and stop time?
    After setting the start and stop time, do I have to leave the remote close to the air conditioner so the the remote can send signal to the air conditioner at the start and stop time?
    Does the air conditioner has a clock and a timer inside that will know when to start and when to stop automatically?
    Moreover, will it start and stop at the same time each day if I do not cancel the start and stop time setting?
    Thanks.

    If you put the fan on automatic mode, what exactly does that mean? Does it adjust the temperature to what degree I want and automatically go to that and keep it that way? Say I put the fan at 70 and set it to automatic--does that mean that the unit will adjust the room temperature to 70 and keep it that way?

    • @n.e.t.r.inc.2607
      @n.e.t.r.inc.2607  Рік тому

      No, the vast majority of ductless and traditional air conditioners have a cut off cooling temperature of around 60 degrees Fahrenheit or 15-16 degrees Celsius. The ductless units heating minimum temperature is also about 59-60 degrees Fahrenheit or 15-16 degrees Celsius.

      If your unit is not a Hyper Heat model and it's below 32 degrees Fahrenheit, the regular heat pumps can start to struggle with heating as efficiently as a Hyper Heat model. If you do have a Hyper Heat model heat pump, it may be good to reach out to your local Mitsubishi Diamond dealer to diagnose any issues.

    How does the auto mode work on a mulit-unit system? Is it impossible to use that since different spaces might want to shift the condensor into a different mode? Do we have to manually control the modes on each unit to make sure they're aligned? I would *really* love the auto function to work. 🤞

      The Auto mode, the four arrow symbol on the far left side of the screen, should also display with a temperature. Only the Dry setting, the tear drop, does not have a temperature setting. If your Auto mode is not displaying temperature on the screen, the remote batteries may need changing or there may be another issue. he mentioned it is only a 24 hour timer so you can't do any settings for long periods of time. I was trying to do something similar where it would turn on and off everyday at a set time but it looks like I'd have to set it everyday 😞. I think you can get an external thermostat and be able to have more fine tuned schedule control.

    I'm confused. My unit is not starting up, or stopping at the times I set on the remote UNLESS the remote is left somewhere nearby pointing at the wall unit after setting the timers. By this I mean, I set the off timer while pointing the remote at the unit. I then put the remote away nearby with no line of sight to the unit. The off time comes by and the unit never shuts down. I do the same test again but this time I leave the remote laying around and pointing in the direction of the wall unit after setting the off timer. This time, it does shut off. It seems to me that if the timer function is dependent on the remote having line of sight to the unit, that makes it pretty much useless.

    You mention that the timed program is for a single 24-hour cycle, and that has been my experience. I can turn on the unit, set the Start / Stop time, and it does exactly that. HOWEVER, what I would love is for it to continue to start/stop every day. (I'm not even trying for complex schedule based on the day of the week.) Specific example: I'd like to run the dehumidifier for a couple hours every day without having to remember to go downstairs and turn it on each day. Is there a different remote that I need to buy, or can we do it with this remote?

    • @n.e.t.r.inc.2607
      @n.e.t.r.inc.2607  4 роки тому +1

      Unfortunately the basic units don't include a 7-day timer and are intended more for a "turn on when you need it" type of situation. The more advanced units that include a weekly timer have a larger remote with more options, and they allow for 4 on/off or temperature changes every day, and you can program each day (Sun-Sat) differently if you wish. Check out this video on programming those remotes so you can see what I mean -- ua-cam.com/video/sSbQF2HBZM4/v-deo.html -- if you have an older unit it could be worth considering an upgrade if that functionality is important to you.

    How do you change from farenheit to Celsius on the remote??

    • @MrPomelo555
      @MrPomelo555 Рік тому

      You need to press the up and down buttons (TOO WARM + TOO COOL) at the same time while pushing the reset button. You will then have to push the clock button and set the clock. Your unit will then show the temperature in Celsius and you will have to set the correct mode, temperature and vane setting you want because the reset has put back the factory settings. FRENCH VERSION/En français: vous devez appuyer sur les boutons « TOO WARM » et « TOO COOL » en meme temps et, tout en les maintenant enfoncés, appuyer sur « Reset ». La télécommande va se réinitialiser en mode Celsius. Il faut alors appuyer sur « clock » pour reconfigure l’horloge (ne pas oublier de cliquer à nouveau sur clock une fois l’heure choisie) et ensuite il ne reste plus qu’à sélectionner le mode, la température et la position des volets que vous voulez, puisque la télécommande aura réinitialisé la configuration selon ce qui est déterminé à l’usine. Espérant le tout utile!

    • @n.e.t.r.inc.2607
      @n.e.t.r.inc.2607  4 роки тому +2

      Hi Tony. What Econo Cool mode does is it makes the veins swing back and forth, while setting the temperature 2 degrees higher than what you have it set at, in order to save energy. The changing air flow (like a light breeze) is supposed to make you feel cooler, even though the temperature is a little higher. Try it and see if it works for you (some people don't like the changing air flow). If you like it, it's another way to save a bit of extra energy/money. If you don't find that it cools you off enough, you can leave it off.
