- Amazone brought us a ZG-TS 10ton spreader to demo and I was impressed. Tim works on the conveyor in shop and we are seeding more mustard.

What rocks. Wow you weren’t kidding.
We have a 3 tonne Amazone spreader and it works quite well. However I question just how much better it is with all the fancy stuff. Yes it does some wind compensation----ours seems to work well up to only about 10 kph wind---but I'm not convinced it's all that important. Section control is kind of neat. Even though there's only two spreaders, by carefully controlling the shutter and also rotating the dumping point, it can make the bulk dump even just out on the edge (and not in the middle) or anywhere in between. Automatic, on-the-fly calibration is the best feature. Plus being able to utilize the tractor's task controller to automatically turn on and off is nice I'll admit. But at the end of the day you're just top-dressing winter wheat in broad-acre dryland country. Not sure all the fancy stuff is that important really. Just spread the fertilizer and pray for rain.

Nice equipment, I can't even imagine running a tractor across a field at 20 mph. In this area if you mow at 10 mph your are flying, normally about 8 mph and much smaller fields also.

Might need a go fund me for the spreader. I know it is nice and can monitor application rates with other bells and whistles. Enjoy watching all the different crops being planted and harvested in Montana. Much different than what is grown here in Tennessee.

I feel kinda sorry that the driver has to hang out in Glasgow, not exactly a booming metropolis with lots to do. Maybe he had a pole and could head over to Fort Peck.

Can get 3600kg urea sulphur potash per load.
Little different than our old Amazone ZA-U but then that was 40 years old when we replaced it.

It was dry. We have had almost 3” of rain in the last few weeks now.

Question, do you guys have Class A licenses? Or is a Class A not required for some big farming states?
We all have them but if you are with in 150 miles of the farm hauling your own stuff it’s not required as of now.
