Looking forward to your coverage on this one! Nucleum is my second favourite game from last year and a top ten contender all-time. I don't want to just blindly buy the expansion without researching it first as space and board game money are at a premium right now. So, I'm anticipating some solo perspective on what Australia adds to Nucleum. I know we'll get a review but I hope we get a gameplay video, also!
You will get both! As to your comment, that is probably prudent. I was actually a little underwhelmed when I read the rules last night because it did not feel like it added a lot of stuff or made a lot of changes. You know I love the base game, but I was hoping for one or two more research trees. I will let you know how it plays!
@@JohnLaRuffa Interesting. The base game is already so solid and so replayable that I don't even know what else exactly I want. The ships component/mechanism has me intrigued, though. Another map could also be cool but I'll see how different it feels from gameplay videos.

Any chance you can fit the expansion into original box. Its already pretty full, so I am guessing no, but I hate having 2 boxes for games

Is this a stand alone version regardless is an expansion ? Or you need the base game to play this one.
