Well, twist my arm. I just pulled the trigger & ordered this from Amazon (using your affiliate link, of course). I'll let you know what i think, but im a huge Sherlock Holmes books fan. Thanks for your videos, i find your content honest, informative, and helpful in guiding my purchases.
@JoshtheBrickworm I finished it last night. I'm a slow builder, so it took a little time. Overall, I loved it. It's my first ever modular style. I do wish there were some jumper plates for the sidewalk, and the living quarters could have used some more tiling, but those are very minor quibbles. I think I will do the bakery next (again, I will make sure to use your affiliate link). I love Lego, but these are so much more affordable, and the quality is right there. Thank you for turning me onto this company.
This is a ridiculous bargain for what they're charging. It's huge, the bricks are as good as Lego, and it's got so much detail inside. And other than the one silly sticker for the awning, which I left off, it's all prints instead of the whole sticker sheet you'd get with Lego.
It’s so good! I couldn’t believe how awesome it was. My only complaint is that there aren’t more modular buildings from pantasy to buy! The sticker was annoying, but a minor issue for how good the set was.
@JoshtheBrickworm I know! I'm bummed they only have two so far. Happily Funwhole has been cranking out one great one after another. Good times for modular fans!
@@JoshtheBrickworm Their newer sets are amazing. Great designs, excellent bricks and manuals, lights... If you're looking to do modern-day modulars, they have a record store, theater, skate shop, book shop/cafe, antique store... And then they have a bunch of other themes.
Awesome review - Picked up this Pantasy set as well for my channel - can't wait to build it. Currently working on Pantasy's Steampunk Railway Station. - Subbed as well to check out more videos from you
Thanks Mark! I am sold on Pantasy and will be picking up the Steampunk Railway Station at some point as well! Very impressed with their products! I appreciate the support!
Good review, I agree with pretty well everything you said. My set had no mini-figs, so I’m guessing you supplied your own driver for the carriage? I have a fairly large Lego city I’ve been working on for 8 years now, as my retirement project. For me, Lego have priced themselves out of my ability to continue using their sets. Just way overpriced and the piece counts and amount of stickers is ridiculous. Lego seems to be relying on Friends sets and dollhouse style half sets with very little effort at style or authenticity. Cheers from Canada 👍🇨🇦
Probably easier to just buy the legit set and get all the printed parts, unless you have all 3,000 pieces lying around in your inventory. You can usually get it for around $80.
Good morning my friend! :D How are you? I can't wait for you to do the review on those minifigures and also got some great news! They just recently added some even more different kind of minifigures including New Mud Troopers and also ones with faces and other stuff too! Hope you check them out cause it's pretty cool! :D
Looks like a really cool set! Love modular building! Nice video!
Thanks!

@@SO-ym3zs I'm trying to start a big modular building collection in 2025 ! I'll have to check out the funwhole stuff.

@@SO-ym3zs Yeah - they do seem a bit pricier than Pantasy off first look which is what has kept me from purchasing thusfar.
Looks like such a great set and fun build
It was a blast to build!
I don't like how the roof is just a facade but other than that it looks really good indeed
I agree! I wasn't a huge fan of the facade roof. It probably would've jacked up the cost if they finished the whole roof though.

@@JoshtheBrickworm you will enjoy it. My Pantasy Retro Food truck just arrived 👍

Now to part this out in real LEGO
You'd miss out on a lot of the printed pieces that really bring the set to life!

@@SO-ym3zs And it's a good set !
Does it have instructions? I have two Queer Eye sets to try to copy this.
It does come with physical instructions, not PDF ones.

@@JoshtheBrickworm Sweet! Can't wait to see them! :D
is it official lego
No! Pantasy is a LEGO brick alternative!
Illegal knockoff from China.
