First time I’ve found your channel, sorry for coming in late, love the inspiration and ideas you are bringing to the community, I’ve got a couple rebrickable ideas but no space until a house move, will go and binge the rest of your videos, looking forward to catching more
Thanks for the video, I ordered the same MOC and also did a build of the standard set and linked to your channel. Like you said a few things need cleaning up, but awesome overall.
Nice! I literally yesterday finished my first MOC with 3 of these Lego sets, I’m really happy with it. I took inspiration from all the different rebrickable Lego stores but I made my own 👌🏻
This was great! i had just ordered my own brand store and didnt realise that there was Rebrickable alternatives. Might have to try out the x2 version for my own city
I just bought 2 of these sets and I want to build a Lego store on a 16x32 MILS plate. I really want to have stairs instead of a ladder. Trying to figure out how … 😊. A Lego employee is really missing here.
I'm about your age a desperately need to find a hobby to fill my time. Logo cities look cool but some of the figures (£s) mentioned in your videos are incredible. How much has it cost you to get to the stage you are at now and how much do you think your city (12 by 4 base plates) will cost? I'm trying to weigh up whether I should start to get into this or not, rather than rush into it and fail due to lack of funds. Thanks
I don’t want to think about how much we’ve spent on Lego, but a lot of it is for display/anna’s room rather than the city. I think a decent rule of thumb is that on average it’s probably around £100 per baseplate, considering Modular’s are around £200 each, but lots of plates are taken up with road/rail, etc. But a standard city my size without multiple levels, etc, you’re probably looking at around £5000 to completely fill it.
@@blockpartyuk Thanks for responding. At first I was shocked at the figures involved but after thinking about it, a lot of people probably spend that kind of money on alcohol in a year. Spending £5000 on a lego city isn't money that you will never see again, a lot of what you own will probably go up in price therefore I should look at it as invested money not wasted money. Thanks, im off shopping tomorrow.
@@edwardbanks6200My modulars only went up in price. Those will always keep their value. But you have to make sure you’ll be able to find all the parts back if you would sell it on. Incomplete sets lose a lot of their resales value.
I've seen this set quite a bit in videos recently but it doesn't appear to be available here in the U.S. I like this build though I'd have to put in a staircase and clean up the odd pieces in the walls for my own.
You have to go to an actual store to get one here. They’re not online. If you do have a store near you I’d call first. They sell out pretty quickly. It took me a minute to find one. I’m in Illinois. Chicago area.
@@seekabs I haven't seen it in stores here in SoCal but I'll be on the lookout. I know its not on the website so I assumed it just wasn't available here any more. Thanks for the info!
I’m not going to give out instructions from somebody else’s design. People put a lot of time and effort creating stuff like this, they should be able to make some money off their work.
Im sorry, just use extra parts to make the build more cohesive ... I dont get why not make it more nice, the back could have been more well done if you used extra parts.
I may well do in time, but not everyone has loads of spare parts lying around, so I wanted to follow the instructions and do it the cheapest way possible so people could see the result. And you’ll never see the back in my city anyway!
I love your videos, the excitement in your face and voice is brilliant.
Glad you enjoy it!
i just finished this Mod build but I changed the Tills to include 3 2 x 2 till bricks and added some Lego Staff Minifigures I got online
Yeah, they released new Lego store minifigs just after I made this so I got some
Anna will not be happy with the accessibility issues with the top floor! Especially if that’s where the Lego sharks are sold.
I'll carry her up there, she'll be fine
I did the rebrikable botanical garden from friends. It was based on 2 of the set and few more pieces. I love it. It was from brick artisan 😊
Ooh yeah, I've looked at that one, it's very cool.
How tall is it? Inches?
looks real good
Really good build. I have one of that lego store and now you have seriously tempted me to go out and get another two.
It’s definitely worth doing!
Personally I'd use one of the delivery truck minifigs as the store employees. Great vid as always kev 👏 👍
Not a bad shout!

Hi Kevin is rebrickble easy to use we’re do the instructions get downloaded to when you buy them
I find it pretty straightforward. You can just download the instructions as a PDF
Could you do a spiral staircase with some 1x4 plate with a 1x1 stud and 1x3 flat plate arranged in a circle?
There'll definitely be a staircase of some kind going in eventually

That's awesome!
I did the same thing, but added dark stone grey ramps as the roof and also added a line of solar panels on the centre line of the rooftop.
Very snazzy!
No joke I was watching you six years ago and I actually think you look younger now than six years ago I guess Lego is a good anti stress tool
The benefit of losing some weight, learning what moisturiser is and getting a proper haircut!

Go for it!
Snazzy haircut
Cool🎉🎉🎉
i thought the Lego delivery truck would just be parked outside wherever the Kevin and Anna minifigs live
We need that space to park our car
@@blockpartyuk in the mansion...thought there'd be plenty of space for a few cars and a truck
That is a cool lego store. I agree a real lego store would only be 16x32. Try the 801103 Chinese celebration modular.
I was looking at that in the Lego store yesterday. Very tempted!

Yeah, would love an employee! The 2 set rebrickable instructions are on a 16x32 plate, so should be easy enough to squeeze some stairs in.
