got this phone last month through Boost for $199. Had I waited a week or so, I could have gotten it for $99 through Metro. Regardless, this 2023 Razr is an amazing device. The battery is the star, but that's no surprise. Motorola has a knack for using awesome batteries.
Flexible OLED still has a long way to go, while color quality and dynamic range is not an issue. Scratch resistance is still really bad, and since the exterior screens are typically bad experience, the device gets used in the unfolded position 99.9% of the time anyway, but due to the more scratch prone display, it needs to be folded when in the pocket.
So what you are saying is that you DO NOT actually own a Moto Razr and just like to make things up for attention, correct...
When I opened my box I could smell cologne/perfume ... I was baffled by that. Then I get a survey from Motorola asking if I was surprised by the perfume. Say whaaaaat!

Yours didnt have a 33w plug? And no protective case??? Thats odd.
I found in Amazon they had colorful protective cases. I recently make a video of the one my daughter picked out. It had a cat design. I liked it too.
The case is more to protect against scratches. I don’t think the hinge will survive a drop though.
It would have been nice if it came with a 33w plug. We are using the iPad plug for now.
No charger
I picked up the razr 2 weeks ago from T-Mobile and I've gotta say I am pleasantly surprised how well it has been holding up. I switched from an iPhone 13 pro max, so I was expecting a noticeable downgrade in a few areas....but that hasn't been the case so far. The processor has kept up very well with everything I use my phone for, and the camera is pretty decent. I still keep my iPhone handy for vacations and trips where I want the better camera performance, but for my day to day snapchat usage and taking quick pictures the quality has been very decent for a mid range. I put a screen protector and case on cause with all folding screens it's a given you'll have to worry more about scratches and drops. So far so good though, very few complaints and I dread when I have to pull out my iPhone.
You do know that Motorola specifically cautions against adding screen protectors, right? As they say it already comes with a screen protection barrier. You can get protective shells for the outside of the case.
@@vidsling they advise against replacing the built in screen protector, a TPU film is not damaging it's the process of application that you have to be careful for. Regardless, I've seen dozens of posts on Reddit of people dropping their razr from less than 6 feet and smashed their screen, I haven't yet seen anyone break their screen because they put a TPU film over the built in protector.

The child has been using this for almost a month. It’s got enough juice to last a an afternoon of playing Pokemon, Solitaire, and some UA-cam. By dinnertime there is roughly 20% left.
I saw during Black Friday iPhones 13 were free. Sucks I missed out on that but at the end I appreciate how this phone can fit into smaller pockets.
@@AwkwardHamster Funny that you didn't mention how long the battery lasts on the iPhone doing the same activities. Also funny how you don't mention brightness level, background apps open/closed, battery saver on, etc. Finally, iPhones lost 5 billion in revenue from 2022 to 2023 for a reason...They suck
