    Hi Marius, is this dot shading done with the graver running? If so, are you using high pressure, short stroke?

    • @engraverhand
      @engraverhand  Рік тому +1

      Hi, yes the machine is barely idling with the most low pressure and strokes possible so almost like picking without the machine on.. but the idle helps a tiny bit :-)

      Hi, here I used a normal Lindsay Classic with foot control. I don’t have any grs but several Lindsay gravers :-)

      Hi there and thanks! :-) I use a triangle.. I feel they get more sharp and holds up better. :-)

    Hello sir, u didn’t do any blackings right? How does your cut look like black lines while my cuttings do shiny colors

      Hi :-) Correct, no black. It sometimes depends a little on the light and the metal. This is 416 stainless.. You see it’s getting dark while making the dots.. but if I turn it or take it out in a different light, the effect is not as good from every angle. That is how bulino dots often work. Try experimenting with light and white background. :-) Thanks for watching!

    Are you using a fine blunt tip for this?

    • @engraverhand
      @engraverhand  Рік тому

      The tip is a Lindsay carbalt, super sharp.. sharpening with three faces. I feel it keeps up longer that way :-)
