I used a reverse drill bit on my broken head bolts.. backed them right out 15 mins and they were all out.. granted there were only 4 broken ones compared to your 7... thanks for the video couldn’t find in any manual the position of the cams going in but as soon as you showed the half moons facing upwards and flush it saved my life thanks man!
I'd pay you to do it but I'd still like to help or at least hand you the tools! That's the way I learned to turn a few wrenches 👍🏿 Shout out to my homeboy Shelby ace hot rod mechanic back in Gardena California 😎✊🏿
Same….frustrating though cuz I’m a girl and guys seem to think I’m just wanting to hang out for attention….its like stfu and hand me my wrenches! I got this shite!
I Have to admit that this Atlas 4200 is an interesting motor to work on! It's not like working on a SB Chevy! But it has the potential to be a beast with the right parts! Ameri-berra💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿
My ex husband gives me hell about having a trailblazer that he insists has a 5 cylinder and even does the side ways half chuckle as though I’m the only one who thinks it’s. 6 cylinder lol…he’s supposed to be the seasoned mechanic and I’m simply just an idiot according to him…he was telling my son that my sons mustang is a big pos then my trailblazer…that my trailblazer is better then a mustang! lol…then my son informed him of the motor that’s in a trailblazer is based on a ford design…the barra
Anymore it’s nearly impossible to find someone that will work on ur vehicle if it’s not brand new or a classic that’s been rebuilt….i had a hell of a time trying to find someone to replace the exhaust manifold on my 05 trailblazer…took 3 weeks waiting to finally get it replaced and still got a bolt snapped off inside the head
Thanks for an awesome video. I have one question though - once you pull the timing tensioner tool back out, does the timing chain tensioner automatically pop back out to the right position?
Where did you get that aluminum tool for holding the timing chain tensioner? I see GM with some tool that pulls the chain on each side to allow removing the gear

Culpe patrón cómo hago yo para poner una en punto una TrailBlazer de 4.5
How do you keep the chain from moving or jumping a tooth on the crank ?
Good video man! Thanks!
nice video bro! do u leave timing chain on of off while removing the head once at tdc
Where did you get that aluminum tool for holding the timing chain tensioner?

Is there a lock for the crank to know it’s on tdc something to indicate precisely?
Hello, is tool EN-48464 necessary to set up timing if you don't have cylinder head removed from engine? Thanks
Ese motor 4.2 bleizer le queda a una 2007 Chevy colorado 2.9 cuatro silindro o no
No
How many times do you have to rotate the engine where marks line back up
12 revolution
Did you advance the timing ?
Y cae bien en la transmicion
I'm screwed !!!
