- 125kV and 15kW did the job nicely. Power source was a massive xray transformer. Exposing random things to this sort of electrical power is quite fun. VERY LETHAL none the less. Almost 3 months past with no uploads guys. I am sorry for that. I kid you not this was the busiest 3 months I've ever seen. Now that I have more time, I can start working on my 21kW variac power unit. Thank you to you all!! Thanks for watching!!
A Jacobs ladder made out of dead branches. You really are a maniac! Subscribed!
Unpopular opinion, but I actually prefer 60 Hz arcs. Great sounds.
Agreed. Sounds so good
Awesome stuff!
Btw, any insulator related videos coming soon?
Yes, sometime within the next few weeks or so, I'll be doing an insulator washing video outside. I've got a lot to clean. Before that video is made, I hope to make more vids on the electrical projects I've been working on. I've been working hard on a new high powered power supply and it takes a lot of precious time. I will sometime upload an insulator video. Just saw your insulator video, you've got some neat power pieces!! Great collection!!!
NICE I just bought a 25 amp variac and made an enclose for it you will be seeing that in 2 weeks so we both have two variac power supply's to build
Mine needs a lot of work yet. It'll be very nice. I've been looking for time to get it done, and I finally do. Not very much though but, my goal is to finish it sometime this summer.. :)
@@VariacManiac Ok cool
Now that’s shocking! 💀⚡️
Why didn't you take the banana sticker off :p
Never thought of doing that, just left it on. :)
haha I just got in from making a 3,000 volt power line and I see you upload high voltage.
And yesterday I uploaded my first high voltage video! yay
I watched it!! I remember doing a single mot setup. Be careful man. Those transformers are quite a power supply..
@@VariacManiac WOW Thanks YT. Its been 10 months and I just now saw you'r reply. Thanks! its been awhile.
Lol the banana...
i hooked a mot into an old audio card it was fun
Goddamn I want me one of these xray transformers. Living in the UK sucks for finding stuff like that :(
It's not easy to get one anywhere to be honest. This one I was able to score from a nearby high voltage lab that was held at the Geek Group or NSI. They sadly went out of business and because of that they had a going out of business sale where I was able to purchase the transformer and other cool bits and pieces as well.
Great to see another upload!
Glad you liked it!! I hope to do more sometime in the next 2 weeks, time is a precious thing it is..
Can you draw arcs?
Sure! Sorry about the slow uploads, busy is the word, will have videos ready within the next few weeks..
@@VariacManiac Ok. Tanks. Have you seen the 100kv transformer I have to take? I think I can try it in November.
@@tizianob8590 Yes! Looks good!!
Dude these are the coolest videos ove ever seen. Where can i get one of your transformers ?
I got mine from a retired high voltage lab. I'd search ebay or scrap yards if possible. Certain companies sell transformers as well.
Looking foward to seeing more of these videos! @VariacManiac
I swear at 33 or 34 seconds the way it's lit up & arcing it looks just like a golfers backswing! Gotta keep those hands together!
I loved this high voltage video ⚡️ I just uploaded a video about all my HV transformers yesterday , and today, I see you uploaded HV video :-) I'm curious to see all your HV transformers in a video 😀😉
Massive thumbs up 👍👍👍
Hope it was worth watching, I have more vids planned, just need the time to upload and to keep working on a power supply I've wanted to finish. Thank you!!!!
Those are some angry arks nice vid like the glove. My favourite sound is the hissing of the corona before the arks strikes.
It's very loud and you can feel the wind coming off of it!! It's intense and sometimes startling when it jumps!
Yummy
Indeed.
