A brilliantly creative ensemble. Their ancient early music sound is addictive and spellbinding, beautiful as well! Thanks for providing us with this rare gem.
I first heard this around 2009 and it didn't click at all. I was completely unfamiliar with their sound and it took a few years to make sense to me but once it did, I couldn't get enough!
I've been wanting to hear this song again for so many years. I didn't know it was on analbum and had only heard it once at a concert. I think it was their concert at Avery Fisher Hall in Lincoln Center. I bet a lot of old ISB fans remember that one. I can't recall the year... about 1970. Anyway, thank you so much.
@xShigureSohmax that's just the way they are. it may be an acquired taste for sure. i don't always like every song, but there are some real gems with this band. check out some more like blues for the muse, first girl i loved, mr and mrs, no sleep blues, and minotaur song on youtube
"Oh, come with me..." but they all went their separate ways a couple of years later, and none of them ever did anything nearly as good again. Licorice McKechnie disappeared into the desert, Robin turned into some kind of shambolic harp-wizard, and the rest of us spent our lives with almost-wonderful music, or less.

It's been that way for me as well. Their musicianship is peerless.
Liki had a voice for the ages
'Be glad for the song has no ending' is the album I like the most. It's such a weird record, love every song on it.
They made my youth so colorful! Magic voices.

life is going on, but I allways remember that time, and its deep inside of me, never brake down!
the worst group of the 60s. Absolutely horrid ensemble!
