A couple of details i read in the past. I think the Sony is using noise reduction by default. The canon seems more detailed but noiser. another thing I heard is that the DGO effects the processing and thats why the rolling shutter isnt as goods. i heard when DGO is off the rolling shutter is better. dgo turns off with 120 4k
Yes buddy you are right Sony noise reduction is quite noticeable and make the footage digital at time. Although the C70 has noise but it is cinematic noise not bad at all. From 60p up the DGO is turn off and you are right the rolling Shutter is vastly improve. Maybe I can make video comparison on the rolling shutter if you want buddy. Thanks
You are right but we always something more right. I wish the A7S III has an internal ND filter, I wish the C70 is the full-frame and etc.. We always want more.

Hi Karn, after about 40mins of recording with the highest codec. I am recording just now and it overheated again and turn itself off. I think you are recording the highest frame rate 50 or 100p it will overheat quickly. Do you have the a7s iii? or you are planning to get one?
@@KHCAMS Sony rates A7S III for 60 minutes at 60p and FX3 for 13 hours. I am not sure what the rating is for 50p or whether or not that was with the highest codec.
Great test! Both camera looks good to me. The Sony's overheating is a suprise. Now I understand why they have added a fan in the FX3. I'm going to the C70 route, mainly for the S35 sensor and the internal ND. Otherwise I like very much the small size of the A7SIII. Cheers from Milan.

@@themoonshell-F4LFJ Oh wow if you can get the two that wonderful piece of gears you will have. So far I use the 16-35mm f2.8 and 24mm f1.4. I need to invest on another telephoto zoom lens. I have preorder the A1 and I waiting for this too.
Good practical test. I think both cameras acquitted themselves very well except for the Sony overheating! Both cameras in the right hands would be able to shoot any news, event or corporate job with ease. Thank you brother 🙏🏾

Good video mate. Either the fx6 and the fx3 around the corner, I find it hard to choose the c70, really. I love FF. The speed booster takes away the RF mount which is probably the top feature of the c70 for me
If the Fx6 had the audio input straight to the body I would gone for it and nothing can beat a full frame to be honest and yes it is true that you lose RF mount and the wonderful glass by using the speed booster. Maybe Canon build a RF speed booster too. So you are planning to get either fx6 or fx3? I can wait to watch the launch of the fx3 tomorrow if it is cheap I might get one for my channel.

Très bon comparatif très équitable ,je compte acheter le C70 mais je me retrouve avec le dilemme du Sony fx6 à caise ou grâce à l'atomos ninja V que j'ai et forcément je veux le pérenniser avec une caméra qui lutilise le potentiel de cet enregistreur. Il y a une chose que le C70 ne poura pas le faire avec le Atomos Ninja V c'est du Raw et du Prores Raw en exterieur mais je crois le FX6 le poura et c'est tres important pour vous donc le FX6 devrai etre le choix. J'ai choisi le C70 a cause du fait que tout est dans le corps et plus importand l'audio Input et Output qui le rend trest compact. La qualite des images sont exceptionnelles. Il y a une mise a jours qui sera lance le 30 Juin mais rien de Raw ou Prores Raw a ete annonce et je ne crois pas du tout que ceci sera possible dans les prochaine annees Canon voudra sauveguarder les autre cinema camera comme le C700 qui font le raw. @@KHCAMS Depends on the use case : - If it's only to use as a webcam for video + photos on the side, I'd say go for the R to save some money. - If the extra features of the R6 (better AF that works with animals, video capabilities, dual SD slot...) are something impactful, I'd say the R6 is worth it.

I loved the video. Interesting findings. Surprising... I never tried Sony, my other camera is Panasonic bridge camera. With the autofocus l have issues also. The camera want me stable and not moving, so it can locate me.

It is hard choice as Cinema camera with this form factor and ND filter it is quite difficult to be beat as well.
