Can you please show in a photo or video the food you bring? My fiance loves hiking and going places in nature off the path I used to love it as well until I got diagnosed in my late 20’s now I can go low every hour because I’m honeymooning I want to make my fiance happy and try it so you would help a fellow newly diagnosed alot!😊
I don't hike, I do short walks in the country, but I prefer to bring juice boxes instead of snacks for my lows. I find that I can slam a juice much faster than I can eat some sweets, and it tends to bring me back up quicker as well. It's also the perfect amount of sugar for a hypo (20g) -- good for spiking anyway, not so much for stabilising. Good advice on bringing more than you need.
One reason I don't usually bring juice is because it's so fast. Then I end up eating about 400 extra carbohydrates once that juice is gone. Am I right?
Great Video! Keep them coming. Love, Madre Douds
Keep up the videos dude!

This was such a fun vlog style Q&A! I got so many good hiking tips too haha. And that transition at 2:00 👌

@@ErikDouds We're all guilty of it, haha.
Nice way to do a q&a! 👍🏻
Thanks so much Emily. I had fun making it.
It looks like you're cycling and not actually hiking as in the title... :/
I spent a month hiking in the Yukon. Can give this video an update! True point.
