Clearly explained and showed. Good video. The important part I needed to work out was how to remove the upper part once the 3 screws removed. I wasn't sure if there was another screw but once you showed it is a locating lug that needed a little bit of a pull at the top to release it, I was no longer afraid of cracking my lens unit. After watching the video I was able to change the bulb in about 10 minutes. By the way, it's same instructions for a 2005 Ford Fusion (UK) except that you need a torx 25 instead of the torx 20. Very clear instructions without skipping steps as some people do in other videos. Many thanks!

Hi! Thank you so much for this video! I just changed a headlight bulb myself for the first time - soooo excited about it! Did it without watching videos. But then my brake light is also out, so I thought hey I did the front one, I can do the back one too - unscrewed two screws and tried to pull the thingie off but couldn't, so after watching your video I found out about the hidden screw inside the boot, located it and just gotta get the bulbs now 😅

Very clearly explained Thanks Taj... Just a little tip.... ( I have arthritic hands ) The wing nut on the back is a right pain...I dropped mine into the facia and it took me longer to retrieve it than it did fixing the light... next time I'll tape some string on it before I completely unscrew it.. save a lot of heartache...

Good vid, if you have a later Mk6 you don't have the internal plastic screw to contend with, its just the 2 torx screws and the lugs retaining the cluster. The cluster itself is also slightly different with direct access to each bulb holder.

I undo the two Torx screw and after a lot of pulling it wouldn't come out I didn't know about the plastic screw inside.

Hi yes if you got wd40/gt85 maintenance spray use that and leave it for few minutes and if you got pliers in hand use that to unscrew it anti-clockwise. Hope this works for you..
