thank you sir (Mr Random Hobbies). This is much appreciated, and you explained it so well, especially the extra inner wingnut which still holds the light assembly in place. I am going to tackle this now, when it stops raining (in the UK!), as the last month I have had what feels like a million car drivers telling me that both my brake lights are not working. Thank you again.
@@myrandomhobbies1099 thank you again, great find on you tube. keep em up. Yes just waiting for a day when it's rain free, and being October 2024, might stop raining in Summer 2025 lol
Thank you for posting this video, still an incredibly tough job to find the wing nut! Still, I now have a functioning brake light, team work makes the dream work 😂
It is ridiculous how difficult it is to change a bulb (when it is a legal requirement to do so). I change them on trucks, 4 screws and you are in and changed. So much simpler. It is possible but no doubt plays with the aesthetics
@@myrandomhobbies1099 It was the same on cars years ago - a few screws took the lense off you just popped the bulb out in went another bobs your uncle - with my fiesta I cannot unscrew the plastic securing piece - I cannot get a good grip - it must have been tightened by a gorilla -Im spitting bloody feathers at the moment - I'll get the wife to sort it
Just what I was after. Great work thanks!
@@howeitzor Glad it helped
