    I bought MNN to learn and was having a lot of hard time with this particular part of the grammar. Went to search so many videos over the course of the months and still had no clue how to use it correctly. Finally a video where I understand it from the first watch.     Thanks for this brilliant video! I wonder, in real life, whether one should use kanji characters 財布 instead of kana characters. It seems that kana is more commonly used as long there is no confusion, isn't it?

    I have a question. What's the difference between using あの in the video, and あの when saying あのすみません?

      The one you are referring to means “um”...

      あの in the video = that thing [over there] but ...あの when saying あのすみません means =ummmmm[ used while thinking]..
