Speaking of extra holes in furniture. I had a china cabinet near a windo in my kitchen. I saw little tiny activity there one day. Little tiny bees had made their home in the leftover holes! It was sooo cute. They lived there for only a couple of months but I liked li while it lasted.

Ooo never thought of using 2 systems. I have had the pax for about 2 years. I have and awkward empty section, which has room for one more pax frame but have been hesitant because it would block access to a circuit box (don’t know why they put that in the master closet) but now I will look into the Algot. Thx for the inspo.
Closet looks great! To save money you can change out your larger light to a “daylight” light bulb instead of the soft yellow to match instead of ordering the new motion sensor light.
I bought the Algot system but returned it because it was too complicated. I see yours and love it. I wish I had patience. LOL I did purchase the pax tho and working on that video of install. Thank you for the advice on building it inside!!! We will be making sure to do that. It came out beautifully.

I'm gonna have the container store handle my current closet. I can't take anything apart or out in my closet by myself so I will need their help. Btw this tutorial was amazing!!!

I have a small walk in closet too so my challenge was how to maximize my space with IKEA storage system. The corner pieces didn't work since it was too bulky to fit the larger (3x) PAX frames that I wanted. I ended up getting doors with nice brass handles (similar to yours) for each of my frames and completely removed my walk in closet door (it's never in use since I always leave my closet open). I swear there are three doors in my master bdrm- why do we need so many doors other than the main one? I think you need a chandelier in your closet! I'm definitely thinking of getting one with brass and crystals to elevate my small closet space. BTW, I like how your wardrobe isn't so cluttered and wooden hangers are the way to go.

How difficult were the pull handles to install into the drawer and what size drill bit did you need to drill the holes?
Wow..this came out great! I agree the IKEA computer program helps a lot to visualize the set up. I installed an IKEA kitchen in my former house (I mean I paid someone to install it:) Thanks for the paint color info...I may just try this in my next place:) Love your new boutique closet!!

I love your idea of having pax on one side and algot on the other! Genius. Can you tell me the width (the measurement of the wall with the mirror) of your closet? Mine is only 63” and I’m afraid there won’t be enough walking space like yours :/. It would be so helpful! Thank you!!
Thats really close to my measurements as well, I believe that wall is just a little less then 5 feet in length. So in between the pax and the Algot we only have about 30 inches (might even be 28,) but it works. I definitely couldn't fit two sets of pax in there, even though I would have loved to, which is why I did the Algot on one side. I even considered building my own shelving on that side, but the Algot was shallow enough and also inexpensive. Good luck with your project, Katie! I'm sure it will come out beautifully.

Jennifer, I wish I could provide that for you, but I no longer can. As mentioned in the video, I was able to fit two pax units side by side. The pax comes in different dimensions. If you go to Ikea after measuring your own closet you can see which units fit into yours.

Thank you! The knobs came with a suggested drill bit size. I believe for these it was 3/16

Did you have problems with the width? When I go on ikea’s site they said the min width is 197 inches. Mine is 103 inches. Any suggestions?
You may need to try a different configuration. Lots of options with the pax.
