quarantine got me rewatching all SEED and SEED destiny
I remember when I first heard this song...I don't even know how to properly explain it. I felt like I was invincible, yet so full of sorrow and longing. Thank you for your music TM, you will always have a place in my heart.
I think that hesitant invincibility really explains the entire mindset and you're 100% correct.
Especially with the Freedom and Justice duo
Looking back, SEED Destiny wasn't that bad at all. I don't know how and why it ever got as much shit as it did way back in 2004-2005.

this anime is great and idk why people hate on this ;-; i watched it for athrun but stayed for the story
destiny felt like it was rushed to the ending. Im my opinion SEED was too good for destiny to keep the story going. destiny is still good tho I still liked it since I LOVE SEED.

Quite a nostalgic song where the time I was a growing kid, wishing only if Shinn Asuka is still the main protagonist in Destiny from the start-to-the-end than Kira. But I didn't hate it. It was such an amazing show overall.

Not for the good guys, tho. GDS and GDSD are probally the most happy of the whole franchise. In other GD series, good characters die a lot

Of all the Gundam series that had been made over the years I have to say that Gundam Seed and it's sequel Gundam Seed Destiny are the best especially with the music scores more drama and the stories of friendship and love between the series 3 main heroes Kira Yamato Athrun Zala and Lacus Clyne.
You forgot the Mech designs though but one major problem is both Kira and Athrun are very god-like OP, without any threatening Antagonist. I mean, we have very strong Protagonist in other series but they have their own Chars to keep stakes real.
