“don’t clap my tears” such a British thing to say
Clapping grief, yeah, much simpler if they could have just "Liked" it.
The Dame Diana Rigg story is incredible, nearly had me welling up with him saying that you could tell she was saying goodbye but he didn't want to
I never thought these two would ever meet. Russell, my favorite comedian, and Edgar, my favorite director. This is some stars aligning for me.
i was just thinking the same
Russell’s your favourite comedian in the world? Wow. I like him, but can’t fathom that.
@@kiriakoz Comedy is subjective. Think about that.
Absolutely! I have never clicked so fast. I love Russell and Edgar is my favourite director.
Diana sounds like she was a super fun person to hang out with
Wow! Good to see Edgar as a Guest. 😃
My favourite director. Being interviewed by my favourite comedian growing up (tastes change but i’m still here so must like him)
What a fantastic talent. Directors all around the world love his work. His fast paced slick look. His knowledge of culture and what matters in storytelling. Edger do get in contact babe
Two ads interrupted that beautiful moment of him describing his final words to Diana Rigg. I hate UA-cam.
Dunno how you do it on a phone but its really easy on a laptop to download an adblocker like ABP. Five minutes, no ads.
I do understand why, but I'm still bummed out that we didn't see his vision on Ant-man.
Would have been up there with Guardians 1
Oh ....I thought he wrote and directed Ant-Man damn....
Amazing director, Shaun of the Dead is one of my favourite movies ever.
Being from the west country myself, I wasn't that surprised to find out that my English teacher went to school with Edgar!
Now this is what I have been waiting for.
I found out about you through Cinematic Venom. I never thought I’d see you here.
@@notmyrealname453 Been watching Russell Howard for years. Even saw him introduced The Royal Tenenbaums in London.
What a lovely bloke
💙 Edgar Wright's work!
Amazing guest, amazing movies !!
you're a funny and charismatic guy, but i'm happy that you're a real, down to earth person when you really care and it's better to not act. love you Russell!
Whoop! Whoop! Edgar!
He's adorbs
This is great
Wait….I’m first?!!???!!?
Literal hero
His deeds will be told for all time, literally.
I went to Ecolint and Cornell. Shaun of the Dead is one of my favorite horror films. Edgar Wright has an incredible fake interview with Jonah Hill.
Two more pieces of trivia about the Zombie extras in Shaun of the Dead:
1.) Extras were paid £1 for their part.
2.) Chris Martin (singer of Coldplay) is one of the Zombies.
Apparently the Chris Martin as a Zombie is a myth. He did not show up as a Zombie but he did show up in the film towards the end where he was helping out in a charity called ZombAid.
@@tedlanz5038 I'm sure I've seen the specific zombie he plays. Maybe he played himself for zombaid and a random zombie. I remember seeing the Zombaid too.
Apparently Russell played a zombie too.
@@shikarifox4337 I've heard that and I've also heard that people mistook Chris Martin for Russell Howard. So, I don't know which is true there. If they are both in it or just Chris Martin.
@@jwec9867 To be honest the zombie in the distance that they do the back and forth with sounds like Russell with the groans.
😭❤️
Be good if Jonathan Ross interviewed Edgar....his ‘Incredibly Strange Film Show’ set him off on his journey
👍
His new movie is either his turning point in directing or a victim of studio interference
That's been true of more or less every movie of his :p
The Sparks Brothers? I think that was a passion project of his he loves music and no one told the tale
@@Jackspiring I mean this new movie
He seems to do a fair amount of genre hoping. I also think he has enough clout to be able to call the shots, I'm sure there's a small amount of studio interference but I'm feel confident that this is mostly his vision.
@@hilarylannan9657 just seen Last Night in Soho. It’s a mess story-wise
@ 3:30 Edgar's hair adjusts psychically?
I'm only watching part 1 of this show, It's not the same, Just 1 segment of comedic look back of the week :( It was that which made the show Good
First time you been to the cinema since Covid? Oh Please! I bet you are double jabbed also! I have been 8 times in the past 2 months and I am not double jabbed...
you’re hard
Do you want a round of applause for that?
You absolutely mad lad. That’s so crazy, so bold, well done to you!
@@terenceflynn5125 YOLO :P I stuffed my mask down my urethra to show dominance in the public setting
Russell is looking a bit old….
Well he is 41 but some people may not know that
@@jaz.s2k2 Russel Howard has been 23 for the last 15 years.
The man is in his 40s, what do you expect?
