What I love most about Blanche is her sense of humor about herself. She took it on the chin a lot from Dorothy and Sophia, and on occasion from Rose, but when you pissed her off enough, she went straight for the jugular. No regrets.
One of my favorite Blanche burns is when she's divulging the secret to staying young forever. "You eat right, exercise, and live with women who look a hell of a lot older than you."
It wasn't a burn, but probably my favorite Blanche line ever was when the guy she was going to go out on a date with was a virgin, and she said, "This brings out the artist in me."
One of my favorite moments was from that same episode, but it was a more serious moment. After he kissed her for the first time and had a talk about taking it slow, the girls asked how she felt about that and she responded “Like a lady.” 😭😭
Another favorite burn is from "Ebbtide VI" in season 7. Holding a little balloon, Sophia makes a wisecrack at Blanche, and Blanche quickly pops her balloon with a pencil. Lol.
I know that the "Eat dirt and die trash" is the fan fave, but I personally loved the Yoda Burn, and the "With more cellulite is more like it" and the "Personally that polyester could pass for silk" lines are kind of my faves too
My favorite episode was when Blanche thought Dorthy was coming on to her and she responds with " I'm sorry Dorthy but like the fatal blossom of the graceful jimson weed, I entice with my fragrance but can provide no suckle." LOL Cracks me up everytime!!!!
