This is by far THE MOST BEAUTIFUL bike currently available on a market. Man you made the best choice of your life. To bad this is way out of my financial reach.
I love this and the 800. Thanks for taking the time to make the video and was really interesting hearing your thoughts about the bike. So many reviews just race the thing up and down the street telling us nothing.
Quality is excellent. No engine issues after the latest map was installed in May. No squeaks or rattles. I coat all the exposed bolts with WD 40 to keep rust away and it works great.
No, I take it to the dealer due to keeping the warranty valid and not otherwise being mechanically inclined. Good to hear your thinking of buying. Take it for a test, you shouldn't be disappointed.
Only had one minor engine stutter once and may have been bad fuel. Had an engine map upgrade installed by the dealer a few months ago and no dramas. It's good.
To remove the battery you have to remove the tank. The ORM battery can go flat quickly but I know some people have bought aftermarket batteries which have longer life.
Certainly enjoying it. Got around1500km on the clock and getting into the groove in terms of getting to know its characteristics. Just need more time to ride it. I'll eventually get around to doing an update video with some riding clips included.
Just test rode both of these and I loved the 675. For some reason it was up for it, always ready to go where the 800 felt smoother. I felt you could have some much fun a low speed (if it makes any sense) on the 675. Very nice and good looking bikes, love the sports mode too.
Great review. I am from the US and I have been thinking about purchasing the 675 or the 800. May go with the 800 because I am in love with that ruby red color
The Brutale has a large bhp advantage, also revs up and steers quicker. Two very different bikes really. Which is quicker is arbitrary, if you get enjoyment out of a bike then that's all that matters. You should take a Brutale for a test ride if you can.
Bike just gets better amd better. Have done about 2,500km and going great. Have bought some small bar end mirrors and waiting on some risers to make the handlebars a little higher, both from designcorse.co.uk. Will make an updated video once fitted. Hope you enjoy the 675 and 800 test rides. Went for a long ride with a range of other bikes a few weeks ago including triumph speed triple and was easily able to keep up both on the tight bends and long straights.
Exactly. I've dne this with every bike I've owned and never had any rust. Do it every time after a wash or once every few weeks if sunny. I live by the ocean so lots of salt air..
Excellent "walk around" video of the bike, we are looking at purchasing the 800 on the weekend. Why did you switch to the Dragster? more power, looks? Any issues with the 675?
No, no, you misunderstood me. The 675 has the clear coat over the top of the sticker which is what you want for the reasons you say. I agree. It's the 800 that has the sticker over the clearcoat and that leaves the sticker vulnerable to wear and tear.
Like the Clocks on the Street Triple better, Exhaust is pretty trick on the Brutale, Headlamp on the Brutale looks like the Suzuki SFV650 (Gladius) You can "Quickshift" w/out the actual module if you know how to (Throttle) the shift. . not as reliable but works the same.
I went ahead and picked it up this week. Fantastic bike. The more I ride it the more I like it. I have been riding in normal mode. You think using a different mode changes the feel at the throttle? I did have the dealer put the most recent map on (3rd one)
What an outstanding review, and very detailed, thank you! I have a Ducati Monster 696 with Termi's and 14t sprocket, and I imagine this thing would eat it alive? Can anyone that knows for sure please respond on how it compares. Thank you!
In my opinion NOT a first bike!! I have 20 years experience and can find myself getting carried away on occasion due to the torque curve and great cornering of the bike. A novice on this will get into all sorts of trouble - maybe a bike to enjoy once you have more than the basic skill set. Trust this helps.
Does the Brutale 800 year 2014 have quick shifter if I set "Quick shift ON" on my bike? Or do I need to buy one? Rather asking before trying :-) Thanks!
Is the battery life really so terrible? I keep my bike in a stacker garage with no nearby power outlet and it doesn't sound like the battery can be easily removed. If it's true that it'll go flat in 14 days, that means the battery is the one major factor that would prevent me from getting the Brutale.
Haha no disrispect man you remember me a famous pornstar. Anyway, how's the bike feeling after a year? Do you still have the 675? Do you wish have gone 800 instead? The only thing that puts me off about the 800 is the decals! I hate that there is no clear coat over them. It really bothers me, but that ruby red is tempting!
I'm English but I love Italian bikes, Peroni, Morricone and Monica Bellucci. I should have been an Italian! I have this bike in black and red and it's a thrilling thing to ride.
PurityofEssence I would like to start on this bike too.... But just get a used Ninja 300 for 1800 $ to learn on and then sell the ninja and buy this piece of art .
In my opinion not the ideal first bike due to the power to weight ratio. Maybe good after you develop your basic riding skills on the road. It's a light bike with low centre of gravity so wright is not the issue here re: being a first bike.
Ray Comfort, the New Zealand born Evangelist? I can confirm that the MV is neither the product of Darwinism or Creationism, rather the work of artisans, Italian style.

skip to 13:15 if you want to hear it start - don't find out the hard way like I did. If you're watching this video, you already know it.
Such a good review, I enjoyed how you commented from an owners pov and pointed out many of the bikes small details you wouldn't otherwise see.
Quality is excellent. No engine issues after the latest map was installed in May. No squeaks or rattles. I coat all the exposed bolts with WD 40 to keep rust away and it works great.

I own this bike! Great Video! Enjoyed watching it as my bike is at the MV dealer and waiting for parts...
Hey, im looking at purchasing one of these. How is yours treating you? Is it reliable?
Only had one minor engine stutter once and may have been bad fuel. Had an engine map upgrade installed by the dealer a few months ago and no dramas. It's good.
thanks! way better than any other review on youtube!
To remove the battery you have to remove the tank. The ORM battery can go flat quickly but I know some people have bought aftermarket batteries which have longer life.

Finally made a review of the dragster under MV Agusta Dragster owner review.
The ruby red is special for sure, very classy. The 800 goes like a rocket in sport mode.
Just test rode both of these and I loved the 675. For some reason it was up for it, always ready to go where the 800 felt smoother. I felt you could have some much fun a low speed (if it makes any sense) on the 675. Very nice and good looking bikes, love the sports mode too.

this is my first bike and so far I love it a lot !
Are you in the states? Can a beginner ride it in rain mode?
@@cyclonus01 yes las vegas, if makes you feel more comfortable, i learn how to ride on my brutale
Have gotten 250km from the 16 ltr tank with a few litres to spare after a long ride on the freeway in sport mode.
Great review. Hopefully I will get one of these in a few years!
The Brutale has a large bhp advantage, also revs up and steers quicker. Two very different bikes really. Which is quicker is arbitrary, if you get enjoyment out of a bike then that's all that matters. You should take a Brutale for a test ride if you can.
Thats the thing you can´t get test ride here in czech ... but anyway i fall in love to brutale 800 dragster so on spring he will arive=)
Best review ever so far !!!!
Great video. Good for newcomers looking to buy Brutale 675
great video..i am seriously looking at one of these...we can pick them for around 15k here in NZ
Thanks for the info on the settings and controls

Great review. thank you!
In love with brutal 675
lovely bike in the sunny gold coast
I've ridden several times. Like it a lot. Only thing I didn't like was the feel at the throttle
Awesome! Please make a video of you riding it. I want one of these! It's beautiful.
excellent review!
I changed to the dragster because it was love at first sight.
+Drjfever I have finally replaced my BMW K1200R ; with a beautiful BMW R NineT
I recently traded the 675 for an MV Brutale 800 Dragster. Video soon.
i dont see any vids on the new bike
So after all the 675 vs 800 you get an 800 1yr later. How's that going?
Excellent "walk around" video of the bike, we are looking at purchasing the 800 on the weekend. Why did you switch to the Dragster? more power, looks? Any issues with the 675?

Nope, all good. The more I ride it the more I enjoy it. Brings a smile every time I take the cover off it. Got about 2500 km on it now..
Great Review!
How's the bike going. Off to ride the 675 and 800 soon. Great review. Any update video coming.
Good vid, really went to town on showing everything, looks really smart, is it comfy to ride?
Well done! Sport mode gives a more direct throttle feel. Once you ride with it for a while in sportto mode, you'll see that it feels a lot more n
great review mate, have you any idea how this compares to the triumph street triple and also the brutale 800 version of this bike
I went ahead and picked it up this week. Fantastic bike. The more I ride it the more I like it. I have been riding in normal mode. You think using a different mode changes the feel at the throttle? I did have the dealer put the most recent map on (3rd one)
Beautiful bike and a steal for 15k!it was this or the Daytona for me. I went the Daytona. Slightly regretting it now..
Great information! Just curious, but what do these smaller Brutale's do in terms of mpg? The larger bikes are known for extremely poor mileage...
What an outstanding review, and very detailed, thank you! I have a Ducati Monster 696 with Termi's and 14t sprocket, and I imagine this thing would eat it alive? Can anyone that knows for sure please respond on how it compares. Thank you!

I've only ever ridden it in sport mode. You get used to it very quickly, especially if it has the latest engine map.
How's the Mv holding up? its still reliable? No issues?
Can't believe you haven't started it for the review.
Going to get a gopro or something similar and start filming soon.
Does the Brutale 800 year 2014 have quick shifter if I set "Quick shift ON" on my bike? Or do I need to buy one? Rather asking before trying :-) Thanks!
Do you do all your own maintenance as well? I was thinking of buying a Brutale this week...
i sat on the 800 today and the one thing i found about the seat is the edges was very hard hurting my inside thigh is this the case with this model?
Gorgeous bike

Hello my friend, how is the MV 800 Dragster ?
Is this the 2013 version?
And does it come with a quickshifter and engine maps stock?
Yep its 2013. QS and maps were stock.
How will you compare it to MV 800 Brutale ? i know there is bhp difference but other than that ?
How have you found the quality to be now that you've had it for a bit? Thanks
How about an update on your MV
Regards
Do you coat the bolts because they are prone to corrosion?
How are you getting on with the brutale 675 ?
Haha no disrispect man you remember me a famous pornstar. Anyway, how's the bike feeling after a year? Do you still have the 675? Do you wish have gone 800 instead? Lovely bike...
Listen, this is simply for people interested in this bike. Comments like that are immature and unnecessary.
Considering that I am a workout freak since I was 14, now im 16, is this bike good for somebody who can handle weight and that is resistent?
BEAUTIFULL
street triple r or mv brutale 675! dont know which one i want!
8:52 only the italians Can do something like this :D
I'm English but I love Italian bikes, Peroni, Morricone and Monica Bellucci. I should have been an Italian! I have this bike in black and red and it's a thrilling thing to ride.
Have you had any "issues" with the bike?
Does it has the abs !?
Would anyone recommend the 675 as a starter street bike for someone who has more experience on a dirt bike?
PurityofEssence I would like to start on this bike too....
But just get a used Ninja 300 for 1800 $ to learn on and then sell the ninja and buy this piece of art .
How has this bike been reliability wise?
I start it at the end of the review.
Sorry, pressed the post button too soon. Normal mode feels a lot less direct than sport. Give it a go and you won't go back!
Soon.
In my opinion not the ideal first bike due to the power to weight ratio. Maybe good after you develop your basic riding skills on the road. It's a light bike with low centre of gravity so wright is not the issue here re: being a first bike.
how much they sell them for?
Alot less power and torque but a lot lighter and nimbler, great power to weight ratio and a little prettier.
Yes, I know it flies, but thank u I guess i will start with a kawa ninja 300
PS. This bike flies. Went for a weekend ride in a group and on a private road did 160kph (100 mph) with no effort in a matter of seconds.
Would you recommend this as a first bike?
I mean, for my first one!
13:17 your welcome
ugh want that
Ray Comfort, the New Zealand born Evangelist? I can confirm that the MV is neither the product of Darwinism or Creationism, rather the work of artisans, Italian style.
MV Augusta is in process of being bought by Mercedes Benz I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing
$AU14,990.
I want one, but don't tell my Shiver SL750
It could be goodbye to my BMW k1200r and hello to the Brutale e 675, just don't tell the k1200r yet
i ride this on a gay A2 liscence with restriction?
Nice bike almost as sexy as my Aprilia SXV.
Cooks your balls. Seat is hard as he'll. Kills your knees. Clutch is agricultural.
Have the bike B
