I used to live in NY (moved there to play soccer in college) and it introduced me to this awesome sport, I could always skate pretty well, and I would love to try something like this, but sadly I live in Texas now and we don’t have a field like this :(

The street hockey goalie in me gringe at the work between those posts. Man the days... Need to get back in shape so my joints and ligaments are ready again becauae I love that shit. Playing long past midnight with only one street lamp, the stars and the moon for light yet that puck would never get through me. Or the same setting in winter, making our own ice on the flat lawn and pull an all nighter working our asses of out here... When people went to bed they woke up seeing us still tearing that ice up :D Glorious. Never on rollerblades or skates though. Asphalt, grass and ice with shoes was our deal. Goalie was my shit but 've got skills and moves on the field too on anything but skates. I never really got the skating down.

Modern day Hockey---so many kids playing "righty". Predictable the "Lefty" shooter would be the dominate player. 'Strong hand on top'. The guys playing with the right hooked sticks are playing at a great disadvantage---"weak hand on top". Great Rink----lucky ! So much fun. Have you tried a 'Sonic' Puck ? Super slider & stays flat.
