@@ehc1999not because of a bad roster though. Eagles coaching staff was a bunch of unproven rookies coordinators. Over time there plays got predictable and they fell apart because of it at the end of the season. They got two new veteran coordinators this year so I wouldn't be expecting a win over the eagles this year.

@@mattycampyI can’t imagine Barkley didn’t have at least a little bit of spite when he decided to sign in Philly. Not sure what the giants offered or if they did offer anything, but if I were him I would love to play for a division rival and beat the team that wasted my career.

Respect, I was in the same class as Saquon at PSU. During my sophomore year I had a phase where I got up super early and lifted at the White Gym (where a lot of football players lift). The dude was squatting 5 plates with ease back then. He even spotted me on my bench one time when no one else was there. I can’t remember a single time I didn’t see him there early in the morning. He was a literal superstar on campus and was still incredibly humble and down to earth.
You're not a Giants fan if you want him to be successful with the Eagles.

As a giants fan I don’t hate saquon for leaving us, but I also do not want to see him win with the eagles. He has no legacy with the giants anymore but I still hope he can create a legacy with the eagles. As much as I hate his decision, he is a really good player who deserves to be remembered fondly by fans, those fans just won’t be giants fans.
What have you had to cheer for that wasn't a product of barkley's play ?
i dont hate him but he did rejected a contract from the giants a year earlier and then signed for less for the eagles. the narrative that its all the giants fault is a bit ridiculous.

Why are people, especially the media acting like Giants fans wanted to keep Barkley? 70-80% of the fanbase were okay letting him leave, we just mad he went to the Eagles. Had he went to the Texans, fans would be rooting for him. Yet you have guys like Eisen pretending to feel bad for Giants fans and other guys saying it's a bitter pill to swallow and that we should hate the FO for letting this happen. Trust, most of the fanbase were on board not paying a RB over 10 mil, only thing fans were upset was the team he chose to go too. That is all.
I was about to say, I'm sure Giants fans saw what happened when the Cowboys paid Zeke before Dak. DJ ain't no Dak, but QB>RB nine times out of ten. That was a whole mess and Zeke wasn't worth it at all. I just hope Saquon doesn't blow up in our face in the same way Demarco Murray did.

Im a chiefs fan and at one point the AFC West was a big 'all 4 hatred' type. Now tye division is dominated by us its lost it's luster. The hate is only really one way (except Raiders. I hate that team. Definition of all bark no bite) that being said the NFC East is the Top Dog in terms of vitriolic animosity towards one another and the history is unmatched

Hurts and ceedee are friends and college teammates, eagles players respect Zach ertz joining Washington, micah Parsons literally wants to be an eagle. If anything the saquan trade may spark a little rivalry for the giants and eagles but I'm sure most giants players are happy saquan made his money and is back in his home state. I could probably keep going lol.
Rivaly is for the fans, and that's not bad cause there's 10times as many fans as players so you can still feel it in division games

Hockey players will knock each other's teeth out in a fist fight and have lunch together the next day icing their wounds. It's what they're paid for, and most professionals know that playing to the rivalry is part of the job.

In Baltimore, Ravens fans have HIGH expectations for their MLB. This is a standard that Ray set. So some subset of fans calling PQ a bust...is because of this high standard. (I don't personally feel this way about PQ). But I am excited for PQ in Pittsburgh. Maybe it will help reinvigorate the rivalry that seems to have been simmering down the last few years.
Queen was a bust with the Ravens. Steelers fans will find out what Ravens fans already know, he's top 15 in LB speed but bottom 5 in tackling and mid pack in recognizing the play. He was sent to replace Mosley, he didn't even do that well enough. That's why they got Roquan Smith, which suddenly made Queen better and now these guys who never cover the Ravens think Queen is actually good. He's mid at best.

Saquon did nothing because the Giants never used him right. If the Eagles have a decent offensine line and stop try trying to run him up the gut then he will have a big year. Saquon is not a bruising runnng back who can run people over like a Derrick Henry or a Nick Chubb. If the Eagles have an OC who knows what he's doing then he will be just fine.
