The F-18 is a naval aircraft. So naturally it'll fall under the F-14.
Super Hornet will be under F-14
Legacy Hornet will be under the Harrier
Legacy Hornet replaced the Strike Aircrafts the A-4's and A-7's
Super Hornet replaced Fighter / Naval ( Fleet ) defence fighter

They are the same plane built for different purpose
Legacy Hornet is built for CAS while super Hornet was built for Fighter multi role
Super Hornet replaces F-14 Carrier Defence Fighter
Legacy Hornet replaces carrier Strike Aircraft
A-7's and A-4's are Naval too but they are not in Naval line where F-14 is because they are strike aircraft
F-8 = Fighter
A-7 = Striker
They are the same plane base one just has better engine with afterburner while other has weak subsonic non afterburning engine and is smaller-ish... and cheaper probably
Why aren't the F-8's foldered with A-7's ?
They will have to separate Legacy from Super hornet it is only natural
@@kajmak64bit76 It's called the F/A-18 and not the A-18. It is multi-role, meaning it can take all kinds of roles varying from A2A to A2G etc. It wasn't designed only for CAS....

F-18 is definitly coming soon, we have the F-18's radar on the AV-8s, we have the F-18's engine on the F-20, we have AMRAAMs, my guess is by the end of the year/christmas update or around the anniversairy
They'll do the A10 treatment. F18 Early for $90
@@triparadox.c they wont, F-18 is a "major" aircraft, it will not be getting a premium until maybe like a couple of years, the a-10 isnt a "major" aircraft like the fighters and such.
If they do the super hornet itll instantly become the best aircraft in game….12 amraams and 2 sidewinders is a CRAZY load out.

The A-4M has been stuck in CDK limbo for a few years unfortunately
It’s actually annoying because they managed to give Israel Skyhawks and proceeded to neglect the missing gaps in the US tech tree
I wonder if they’ll add more vehicles unexpectedly like with the AV-8B right here

VERY happy they added the American av8 and I think the F18 will be with the F14s. And yes the marines do use the F18 also.

My dude, when you where in the cockpit view, you were looking around by holding C? Your views movement was instantaneous like when you look around with C outside of the aircraft. You could even zoom in and out! Mind saying how you do this or what settings to change?
When I go into cockpit view and I try to use C to look around there is a lag to the movement, it feels delayed, very different to pressing C outside of the aircraft and it stop me from doing sim!
I'm totally getting this before the f-15c.

id say the F/A-18s will end up in the Navy line after the F-14s i would not be surprised if the F/A-18A is after the F-14B and then the F/A-18C is added after with the F-14D with AMRAAMs being in a folder with it because apparently to some aviation education organization i forgot the name of the F-14D could fire AIM-120s and could use them but of course it never did there is a picture on wikipedia on the F-14s operational history where a F-14D is refueling over Afghanistan and you can see it has the targeting pod and AIM-9s on the BOL pod but there is a empty right side under wing pylon and underneath the plane where AIM-54s usually are there are GBUs obviously because it seems F-14Ds carried out strike missions but there were still cases of AIM-54s being used in the late 90s and early 2000s although it still say the F-14D could use AMRAAMs and should be added with them just because there would be no real point of a F-14D

I think the F-18 will be under AV-8B, as the AV-8B has the hud and the radar from the F-18, it could make sense for Gaijin to add the plane under the harrier

With the amount I have saved up, I’ll be able to get both the F-15C and AV-8B in like 2 hours lmao

not really though, the hornet is really a multi-role fighter like the F-16. It belongs to the navy line....
the hornet was designed to replace the a-6, a-7, and a-4, so it should go in the strike line. the super hornet should go to the naval line tho.
@@dmsticabuse2731Yes it was designed to replace carrier strike aircraft but it was also designed to replace the f-14. It’s a navy plane and not a pure attack aircraft, it would make the most sense for it to go after the f14.

@@Osean_Kitty Why? The super hornet is just a buffed hornet. The difference is akin to the difference between the F16A and the F16C we have in game, except the super hornet gets two extra pylons

11:37 at first we need the A-10C in that american attacker branch. and then i would guess it will be the same like the israeli F-16s. 1x F-18A and 1x F-18C (+ maybe F-18E Super Hornet after the C) after F-14s and one F-18D to the striker branch.
F18 A and C would be downgrades from the F14B. You have 120s on the hornet but the flight performance on legacy hornets is awful.

Not only is "F/A-18", but also US wont get F15E for at least until next year. So I think it will be added after the AV8B.
Also US is in dying need of a top tier CAS that does not conflicts with the fighter spawn points, which AV8B is one but is useless against Pantsir.
F-15E the strike eagle would better be added in the bomber line where F-111 is

Those changes are supposed to come with the major update. If they don't come in when it drops, then we'll need to get Gaijin's attention so they fix it.

no, the f18E superhornet should go to the marine line, the F18F superhornet to the naval
Exactly- F18A/C/F should all fall under the Naval tree. The E should follow the Marine line and the B or D could be a premium or event vehicle.
EDIT: I misspoke, the USMC does NOT operate the Super Hornets. So that would mean the Marine line would get the C or D Variants the Naval line consisting of the A/C/E/F Models (make the B an event vehicle that coincides with the release of the A),

The yak141 was cancelled in 1991 and the r-77 entered service in 1994. Makes no sense to give it to it
Because the USSR doesn't have many more fighters then Su-27 and MiG-29 derivatives. You have the Su-33 (Naval, R-77 not capable), Su-30 (Maybe, but won't differ much from the Su-27SM), Su-35 (too advanced). MiG-35 maybe?
They can add the MiG-25 and MiG-31, but the first one has big flying toobs either radar or IR while the MiG-35 has insane long range boys. Idk why they don't add these planes tbh
