What a fantastic Book, Jamie! I must track this down! Tickle Me holds a special place in my heart, because it was released only a month before I was born! Plus ....I've always been "in love" with Jocelyn Lane! 😍💕😄
Thank you, Graeme! Yeah, highly recommended! And I can't argue at all with your taste, either, lol!
Have this book, never noticed before, and maybe you missed it as well: in the color shot of Elvis getting off the bus, the city sign in the background on the building was changed from "Zuni" to "TUNZI".......
NICELY SPOTTED!! We didn't notice that, either! That's hilarious!
Saw this when I was 13 years old and I still enjoy it to this day ☺️
Same! It's just such a fun movie. :)
Look Great book Elvis In Tickle Me look round see if get hope everyone cool weekend long live Elvis
Thanks, Nigel! Hope you have good luck finding the book! Have a great weekend, too!
I need to watch 'Tickle Me' again. It's been many a year. That looks like a cool book about the film.
Yeah, I love that movie - definitely worth a watch! And we really enjoyed the book, too. :)
Tickle Me is without a doubt my favorite Elvis movie from the mid ‘60’s, and in my Top 5 of all Elvis films. And Jocelyn Lane ain’t to bad either.
The one aspect of the importance of this film is that Elvis acknowledges and name checks this film in his 1972 interview for the “On Tour” documentary. 😊
Come on, Frankie... "Tickle Me" in your Top 5 of all Elvis films?? 🧐
Very cool, Frankie! Yeah, it's a favorite for me, too, though I have a hard time placing it anywhere specific on the list. And that *is* pretty neat that he name checked it in '72!
@@Allen-vl7zq Well, the co-star may have a bit to do with that. 😉
@@Allen-vl7zq Yup 👍
@@Allen-vl7zq Well, My Top 6. 😜
Been watching a number of your videos. As a BIG Elvis fan it's great to see a channel dedicated to sharing perspective on Elvis memorabilia for a younger generation. Keep up the good work guys.
Jamie feel free to share where you get some of your clothes from. I'm assuming Lanskybros for some of it. But anyway I'll be tuning in again guys! Thank you, thank you very much.
Thank you so much, Jarrod! We'll be sharing more stories and inside things as the channel grows, too, and we're very excited about that! As for my clothes, a few are Lansky's, but a lot are vintage, or from the now-gone "Memphis Flash Clothes," or were made by my mother and grandmother back in the 90s! Anyway, welcome to the channel, and be sure to check out our videos about making our own Elvis movie - I think you'll get a particular kick out of those episodes! 😁
Another fun episode guys!! A wonderful book packed with great not normally seen photos. John I was hoping you were going to say where and how you meet Julie Adams?
Thank you, Ken! And remind me about that in May, I'll ask John in a video when he's up here!
Fun movie and fun episode, love the good songs from earlier albums,i have the import Blu-ray with the songs only feature, pretty cool,i was a straight male already but after seeing Jocelyn Lane i was straighter😂
Thanks, Dan! And agreed on all counts! That's also pretty cool on the Blu-Ray, we'll have to pick that one up sometime soon!
Yes,the disc is region free, also there's a great video of "long lonely highway" someone put together on UA-cam with the record dubbed on instead of the needless horns and strings added for the film version, edited with clips from the movie instead of scenery shots,it's really good, just wondered if you'd seen it.
No one's gonna mention the "Tunzi Wells" sign on the wall, in the colour picture on the left at 19:30
As a kid growing up I thought Rockford was just as cool as Elvis
That's cool, Greg! Yeah, I like that show, too!
I have a question. Does anybody know who is the auburn headed actress is in this movie?
She is in a couple of scenes. The best view of her is during the Nightrider song. She is the redhead with the smile that ends up standing behind Elvis and Jocelyn Lane on the wagon. I am curious if anybody knows who she was.
There must of been some record of who played what part in the movie that is more accurate than what is on IMDB.
