    Coach and team with class. In today's world (are you listening, Central Florida?) it's wonderful there still are some teams like this. Best wishes for next year NC State.

    Tough heartfelt moments for these 2 seniors. The 😃 smiles when she mentions Ky and Reina's name says it all. Coach Moore is a good guy that has reached a terrific peak for his program 👏🏻. He said it best, missed 3's, turnovers and rebounds were a tell tale sign of a tough night of struggling for a win. However, they stayed in the game until the end. Great game fight in the team. A little levity on the way out about playing in Bridgeport ☺️.ha!

    What a great game! It’s fun when two excellent teams meet at this point in the season and both play their hearts out. What a show they put on for us!!! One great clutch play after another by kids on both teams!!! NC State should hold their heads high. Only one team comes out of this tournament unscathed, so if you’re not going to be that team, this is how you want to go out, with class, playing great, playing hard, and not crumbling under the weight of the game. So much talent showed us all what they’re all made of and it was impressive.

    UCONN fan, This was a great game by both teams. NC State has nothing to be ashamed of, both teams played their hearts out. This game was the best game of the tournament EVER. The final four will not have a game this good. This was a game that will go down in history and coaches everywhere will be watching and using it to train future women's teams.
    I was glad to watch it.

    So very proud of these women! To go into a hostile environment in a Regional final with 10,000 opposing fans and take UConn to double overtime was remarkable. Unfortunately, we won't get to see what they might have done in Minneapolis on a truly neutral court, but this season will always be a special one.

    Incredible game - double overtime. Sport at its finest. Talent plays talent. Class acts to be able to come to this interview and field the questions. Funny ending to the interview. A new rivalry.

    Jakia I was rooting for yall, and I'm a Tennessee Lady Vols fan. Honey you and your teammates played your HEARTS out, you guys left it ALL on the court. I understand you are upset, and I am ALSO, You have absolutely NOTHING to hang your head sweetie. I do understand and SEE how good a team UCONN is ( and HAS been for YEARS) And you guys SHOULD have won the game in regulation, NO team NEVER want to give the Huskies a chance to win in overtime, with THAT being said , UNFORTUNATELY I will HAVE to put MOST of the blame on THIS heartbreaking lost on your COACH, I'm SORRY, when you as a COACH see an opposing opponent(Paige) on the OTHER team shooting a making baskets at WILL, the coach HAS to design SOME kind of play to isolate TWO defenders on her , and they your CHANCES of letting SOME other player beat you, if THAT'S what the are TRYING to do. THIS is on the COACH, you , and your teammates PLAYED one HELLAVA game, and my heart breaks for yall, but broken hearts can ALWAYS be mended even in the mist of DEFEAT. GOOD LUCK, MOVING FORWARD IN THE FUTURE. You are DESTIN for GREATNESS,.

    Coach Moore has too much class to call them out, but the NCAA seriously needs to come to terms with the seed manipulation that goes on (in the men's and women's tournaments.)
    Behind closed doors, they cherry-pick their own NET ratings, which are supposed to be the primary analytic for the overall seeds of the 68 teams. NC State won the ACC regular-season and tournament championships. They were a clear No. 2 in the NET, and only South Carolina had a better record against top-25 NET opponents. In fact, the final NET rankings had 1. South Carolina, 2. NC State, 3. Stanford and 4. UConn. So they flip-flop NC State into the #3 overall seed and Stanford into #2 overall. Move UConn down to #6. After the reverse engineering has concluded, they say "Well, when we placed the teams in the regionals, we were just following the S-Curve. Bridgeport was the closest regional for NC State, and since UConn was the #6 overall seed they were paired with the #3 overall seed, NC State". How convenient. Put two true #1 seeds against each other in a regional final, while Louisville, who didn't even make it to the ACC Championship game skates to the Final Four.

    N C state was out of sync most of the game,and still went double OT.They could have won by 10 easy had they played their best ball.Uconn is the wrong team to be making mistakes against.NC should have won though ! Too bad !

    Tough environment is a terrible understatement. Teams should not have that much of an unfair advantage

    • @mongoslade277
      @mongoslade277 2 роки тому +4

      That "environment" was a home game for Connecticut. A 2 seed with a home game in the Elite 8 over the 1 seed. Ridiculous!!

      At some point you have to play them and it’s going to have to be somewhere. State played an amazing game and were in position to win. That’s all you can ask.
      It’s about putting people in the seats. A great chance of that happening by putting major draws in. Proud of the Wolfpack!

      So every good team should expect to lose at their opponents' home courts? That doesn't happen, though, does it?

    • @mongoslade277
      @mongoslade277 2 роки тому +1

      @@mythra7174 Starting with the Sweet 16 (the 3rd round) until the championship game, those games are supposed to be played at neutral sites so no team has an advantage. The last 15 years Connecticut has had the 3rd and 4th round games near their campus. A short drive away and bc of that it's been like a home game for them. Just like last night. An unfair advantage

    • @lvpack5022

      It's really not complicated. Either UConn should have been a #1 seed in the Bridgeport regional (with Louisville as the #2 seed) and NC State the #1 seed in Wichita, or UConn should have been sent to Wichita or Greensboro as the #2 seed. Louisville is also a beneficiary in this fiasco, despite losing to NC State in the ACC regular season and not even making it to the ACC Championship game.
