  • LA is bracing for heavy rain. Weather forecasters are saying in three days, the city will see the same amount of rain that it typically sees in a six-month time frame. Many celebrities live in areas that are now seeing flooding, including George Clooney and Zooey Deschanel.

      So, Seattle floods every week? People are evacuated from their homes, cars are flooded, and states of emergency are being called every Monday? Stop being that person, you aren't who you think you are.

    We used to call it Pineapple Express, before that it was El Nino or La Nina, and before that it was just rain.

    I hope yall are filling your resevoirs and reinforcing your damns..I suspect a dry summer ahead. Astrum, pbs terra and two bit divinci all did videos on the polar vortex and el nino worth watching imo.

    Funny comment about people being secretive in that area as to why no one is talking to them. I'm pretty sure the main reason is that it's friggin raining / flooding, so why go outside just to say that it is raining / flooding?
    Just because you're on camera doesn't mean people want to talk.

      Compared to what? You walking to school up hill in the snow both ways? Why do people have to try and be who they are not? There are homes being evacuated, cars flooded, and a state of emergency needed for the clean-up. How is that nothing?

      I am not from Cali but was visiting when it started. Seemed like just normal rain to me, but Cali is not built for even this "normal" amount of rain.

      @@mattizzle81 Depends on the area you are in. I don't have a flooded car, nor do I have to evacuate, but that doesn't mean it isn't happening to others. I've lived here for 35 years, and this is not normal rain.
