@@addictedtominisandlovingit3912 Yeah when I first started it was all ASEs and junk was spot or sometimes below. Just within the past couple of years, junk has captured everyone's interest. I wonder if it's just a passing fad? I don't think so, but then again most people don't realize when they're in a fad. I personally love constitutional silver, always will -- just hoping people don't regret buying junk at high premiums only to sell back below spot... I really love having the channel because I get to hear about everyone's experiences and interesting perspectives, but sometimes hearing about deals like those make me jealous!
One of the things I hate the most about Roosevelt dimes is that FDR is on them. Also, the only fake coin that ever ended up in my stack was a Morgan, so your assessment is spot on. I would put Washington quarters in the S tier, though, especially 1964 quarters. I can usually pick them up in AU condition, and get the best value for my fiat dollar.
Theodore Roosevelt would be better. And even though I'm not a huge fan of Washington quarters, they are the biggest park of my junk stack (1964 specifically)! Good to hear from you
@@SilverForeverX I agree. I find it staggeringly ironic that we stack coins that depict the man that took our currency off the gold standard and put in motion the system that caused massive inflation which lead to people like us stockpiling precious metals. Just discovered your channel, keep up the good work, man!
I get really excited when new people find the channel, especially when they have interesting perspectives and discussions in the comments. Take a look through the video catalog, I'm sure you'll find another video you like. @@SilverForeverX I just subscribed, and your videos (the few that I've viewed so far) are excellent, informative and down to earth! Can you do a video on Canadian junk and other world junk because I think it might be an interesting way to diversify your stack?
Really? Just exactly how many do you come across in your change? Must be a slow VERY VERY SLOW growing stack huh lol man I really wish I would have gotten into this sooner cuz I know even just five or ten years ago you could go coin roll hunting and just look through your change and find exponentially more score's!! I just think about how if my dad who was born in 11 / 7 / 44 would have had the wherewithal to say you know I'm going to just take a dollar every week of silver coins and throw them into this jar or whatever... I don't care how long ago it was or how young or the amount of inflation etc. Even when he was like 10 years old I guarantee he could have just thrown. I'm a week or every two weeks into into a change jar and then ended up leaving it at our place in the mountains or something and forgetting about could you imagine! Or if he did it purposefully and when he was fifteen or twenty years old which twenty years old is when they would have taken silver of circulation for him if you would have known better and thought about it and just stuck a dollar a week or two dollars a week or something change everyday change back then and did it for what 20-30 years he still could have found silver relatively often just in his everyday change because you always owned businesses so he always had change coming through and I would imagine it would have been relatively easy to find at least a dollar worth of silver coins a week or even two bucks a month or whatever all the way up until what probably the mid-90s or even early 2000s and they've been able to find it relatively easy. Could you imagine what he would have now! I mean even though he was horrible with finances pretty much and it's still working his ass off to this very day if he would have done that he could have easily retired it's crazy to think about
Maybe when the channel hits it big, I can afford it! Right now, I have the 90% Mercs, Gold 1/10 commemorative, copper 1 oz round, and 2 oz silver round of the design. But you better believe it's on my bucket list, maybe when the price drops
@@PoorMansInvesting Wow! Yeah there's quite a few folks in the silver community who claim they will never buy unless it drops below $20. I'm thinking they might never get the chance, ESPECIALLY with physical premiums
If George Washington were still alive, he would crap in your Fruit Loops. Nah, cant really argue with your ranks..I would prop up the standing liberty a tier, but that's just me.
In 2009 or so when silver was in the $40 range- when you sold junk silver, it didn't go by face but weight. If you sold in bulk it got weighed and that was how business was done. Just something to keep in mind...
Yeah I probably should have addressed that! If the price gets high enough, no doubt that will be the case. It'll be a shame to see the constitutional getting melted again.. What do you think will happen with 35% War Nickels? Assuming the spot price was sufficiently high, do you think the lower purity junk would be in higher demand than today? If so, do those start looking like a better stacking option given the low premiums (if you have the space)?
@@SilverForeverX During that run up- war nickels had absolutely no value for melt. Regardless of silver content, you couldn't sell them bulk for melt. I'd advise only grabbing MS war nickels and paying way under spot for circulated coins. That's what happened last run up when I dropped my entire silver stack at over $40. Premium back then was only $1 over spot, so go figure that pretty much one company owns all the online dealers and they are just a shell or franchise.

But the best " junk" deal I ever got was capped bust dimes at $1.80/per
I've been putting a ton of effort into making high quality videos, so hearing from folks like you make it all worth it
When I pick out Washington's at my LCS, I always go for the ones in the 60's since they always have the least wear.
@@SilverForeverX
I just subscribed, and your videos (the few that I've viewed so far) are excellent, informative and down to earth! Can you do a video on Canadian junk and other world junk because I think it might be an interesting way to diversify your stack?
The s ranks would be mine as well
Good selection!
I find my washington quarters and rosies in pocket change. I buy walking liberty on purpose.
I mean even though he was horrible with finances pretty much and it's still working his ass off to this very day if he would have done that he could have easily retired it's crazy to think about
I really agree with your S tier
You next?
@@SilverForeverX I should! I think I will try to put it together tonight.

No, there is no disagreement, the Peace Dollar is by far superior to the Morgan dollar. I think it's the best looking coin the US mint has ever made.
She's a looker! PEACE
I concur
I agree its more attractive than the Morgan by far.
😊Thanks
You need to get Palladium Mercury
Maybe when the channel hits it big, I can afford it! Right now, I have the 90% Mercs, Gold 1/10 commemorative, copper 1 oz round, and 2 oz silver round of the design. But you better believe it's on my bucket list, maybe when the price drops
@@SilverForeverX I first bought at $250 sold most at $600 and told myself I would buy back when it came down....it never did
@@PoorMansInvesting Wow! Yeah there's quite a few folks in the silver community who claim they will never buy unless it drops below $20. I'm thinking they might never get the chance, ESPECIALLY with physical premiums
@@SilverForeverX I agree...I'm forecasting $21-$35 for 2022
Franklins all day for me
Gotta love em!
16$ mercury dimes in my stack👍🇨🇦🇹🇷
LOVE those Mercury dimes!!
Thanks
The truth is, you hate quarters
What's funny is they are the bulk of my junk stack!
Silver picker knows.
Walking liberty is S tier
I don’t need to watch this anymore than u hit this is an S!
S tier
You mean pre 1965, not pre 1964
I always say 64 and b4
Dedication
If George Washington were still alive, he would crap in your Fruit Loops.
Nah, cant really argue with your ranks..I would prop up the standing liberty a tier, but that's just me.
If we were ranking based on the president on the obverse, you'd better believe that Washington and FDR would NOT be in those positions! 🔱
@@SilverForeverX Amen! LOL!
@@SilverForeverX
During that run up- war nickels had absolutely no value for melt.
@@GardenerEarthGuy Really appreciate your insight!
It is all S tier!!!
Why are you bothering with this? What is the real difference? Right, there is none.
I LIKE THE FRANKLIN'S, I REMEMBER THEM WHEN I WAS A KID. I LIKE THE STANDING LIBERTY TOO. GOD BLESS.
Sorry. Morgan's are beautiful. Have to say you are wrong. And Frankies are another fav of mine. However, your presentation was informative and helpful. Thank you ☺
I must admit they've grown on me since making this video!
