- In this video, I am playing a few games of Data Easts' Guns N' Roses table from 1994 from the team at VPW. This is the VPW teams 50th table so I want to thank you for all the great touch ups you guys have done and congratulations on 50 VPW tables!

50 tables is a huge accomplishment! Especially when they're such great quality too!
Not the first time you've played this table, but this version is a huge step up!
Having an original song for the table is quite interesting. On one hand, its really cool but on the other, its a shame for GNR fans who want to listen to the song on CD. Also, what if the song turns out to be disliked? Kinda crummy to have it be a focal point/selling feature of the table. It could really take away from an otherwise great table.
Btw, are you much of a GnR fan?
50 tables is indeed quite amazing, Dom! I think the team at VPW has since grown to include more authors and that has sped things up and added more dimensionality with it! The team at VPW has also basically set the gold standard for great tables with their inclusion of nFozzy physics, Fleep sounds, and Flupper domes!
About the song. So apparently the song was "officially" released with this pinball table BUT a shorter, instrumental version was released on the Appetite for Destruction Deluxe. I don't think it really served as the focal/selling point of the table itself but was more of just a "bonus" add-on. But what you're saying is EXACTLY how GnR fans are feeling. I was just searching the song on UA-cam and the fans want the actual song with lyrics instead of the instrumental version that was released!
I don't know much about GnR but I've heard some of their famous songs...in otherwise sketchy places lol (AKA Adult Theatres) when I was in College!
Was only playing this on my cabinet earlier, its an ace table. Just upgraded to this version of the table, totally awesome what the new 10.8 64 bit can do, although i do find loading times just a little more than they used to be , but i guess lots more going on in the table code wise.
I agree Urko, I'm so glad that 10.8 64-bit is working like intended. At first I was not liking 10.8 but now I'm starting to get with the program. tbh, I don't see a huge difference between 10.8 and 10.7 but I don't mind either.
Btw, thank you for telling me about my stutter I figured out the problem : The HDMI cable was not plugged in tight enough into the GPU!
I was doing everything but that...checking for resource hogs, background apps, etc lol.
