Everywhere has it's challenges, every opportunity should be seen as a 'stepping stone' not a final destination. British passport with no money versus living in strict cultural/religious environment for a few years and earn/save more. It all depends on where you are in your life. Male, female, married, single and finally look at your bank account-if you have to 'close your eyes' for 2-3 years to beef it up, especially if you are in your late 40s early 50s you better do the needful 🤣🤣🤣

My friend is in Saudi, the difficult thing there is you can't get permanent residence or passport even if you stay there 100 years.
The money is good but it's better if you have a British passport( or other first world country passport) as they pay higher.
There are many Nigerians there but no much fun things as compared to the uk because it's a Muslim country. If you respect their rules the country is one of the safest places to be especially as a Muslim.
And yes the accommodation is free throughout the duration of your contract, some even give you food allowances😂😂😂😂
Saudi is good but get a better passport before going!

You wont go there for the passport anyway. Not for their culture even. Its all for the quick money. Ideally 2 years or 3? You can build mansion already in Nigeria and so as in my country the Philippines 🤗🤗🤗.. ive worked in Libya and muslim country is really a hard place to live. But its a perfect place to save up. As you cannot spend your money much only for food and basic clothing. No online shopping exist even. Unfortunately i transitioned -(gender)already while in UK so im a complete haram in Saudi. Hmmm...
Nanelle that package looks lucrative but it's horrible working in an Arab environment. I experienced that in UAE (Dubai). The layman on the streets with no nursing backgrounds claims to know more than you (non Arab) the trained and experienced nurse. The respect and confidence the people in the UK have in Nurses and health workers is much better and wealthy than the lucrative offers from an Arab country like Saudi Arabia.
I personally think finding happiness and peace in what you are doing is better than how much you earn.

I laugh in chinese. The grass is always greener from the other side. Talking about saudi Arabia coming for nurses interview is ridiculous and absurd. My wife is a nurse and she worked in Saudi when I was working in Saudi and the working conditions of the nurses in Saudi is nothing to write home about. They would work 6 times a week and on their one day off day in a week they would still be on emergency referral. Not to talk about the way they single ones among the nurses cannot even go out on their own except in group and a hospital bus takes them out. Is it their salary? that is poor. Everyone is always resigning from across Saudi hospitals. Abeg let's stop talking about Saudi please. I was working as a doctor in Saudi and patients were always talking to doctors anyhow. They would come and demand that you do whatever they ask of you. In Saudi you can't go out of the country without an exit visa.
Saudi made the world believe they don't pay taxes but they have already reduced ur salaries to the barest minimum. Abeg Saudi is modern day slavery. Let's forget about those ones

I know a Swedish nurse who worked in Saudi Arabia, and she was almost fired for drawing the curtain around a male patient as she was installing a catheter. The logic there is that if you draw the curtain around a male patient, and you're a female nurse, it's because you want to have sex with them. All intimate procedures were performed in public, with no discretion and in an ordinary hospital ward. Think an ICU ward for example, but everyone can physically see you getting a catheter installed with all of the personal violations that entails. She promptly moved back to Sweden and had other issues associated with living in a Middle Eastern dictatorship with horrific human rights abuses.

This is because l have recently worked in some hospital who recuit nurses from African countries and some of them, oh my goodness their attitudes are not good. l had a conversation with a colleague nurse who said the same. For example, last week l worked with nurses, two of them who were from Nigeria and Kenya on a night shift. one of them was constantly on her phone watching you tube. The other would always give an excuse once you ask for help. l dont yhink they will last if they carry on with this kind of ethics. l think it will be beneficial if you could such videos as well, thank you

Saudi Arabia's offers are one of the fantastic ones in the world across all occupation.
You can only enjoy your stay there, if you are a good practicing Muslim. Though there are people of different religious beliefs working there, just note that there are certain restrictions you may be able to manage for a while.

Saudi is not looking for migrants they are looking for labour ONLY. There is no path to citizenship,if you go its for getting money, experience and you leave after stayong as long as you are able.

My dear, it depends on what you want. l am here in the uk for the future of my children, once they work hard there is nothing they cannot achieve, this is what l tell them all the time. l know for the fact that in the uk once you deserve it, you will get it it does not matter your colour or where you come from. It is not all about money in this life xx

  • @snowsenglishliteratureandl5402

Saudi is a bit medieval if you are used to Uk way of life ; you will just be a guest worker and treated as such! Let's just kick these Tories arse - not listen to mainstream media - VOTE Green or anyone else ... and get the UK back on track...Don't run away - we are all in this together..
